Hello, friends:}

**Click HERE for my Ribbon Carousel challenge post.

I cannot believe I wrote down the time for this post incorrectly! I thought it went live TONIGHT at midnight! Either way--I'm so happy that I am a part of this blog hop!

I was invited by my good friend, Virginia, to create a get well card for trend editor for Paper Crafts, Cath. If you want to participate in this hop, click HERE. I've created a super simple card using some bandaid images {Unity} and some My Mind's Eye papers {that I have refused to cut into because they are my FAV!!}. SIMPLE!
I hope you feel better soon, Cath! Sending tons of hugs and love your way!!!

I feel horrible that I didn't post this in time! Please forgive me, Virginia:) And I do hope you will join in the fun and send lots of love and cheer Cath's way! Link up HERE

RCC34- Anything Goes with Unity Stamps!!

Hello, friends:}

It's time for another Ribbon Carousel Challenge--we are so excited to be back after some well-earned time off with our families. We hope that your holiday season was everything you hoped it would be! To kick off 2012, we’re easing in to the challenges with an “Anything Goes” Challenge sponsored by Unity Stamp Company!

Since 2007, the Unity Stamp Co. has evolved from the vision of Christian and Angela Magnuson to a fabulous and trendy stamp company. Every single stamp is manufactured within the walls of Unity Stamp Company – so we can shout from the rooftops that our products are all made right here in the grand ol' United States of America. Isn't that the best?!

Our images and kits also come from the Co-Branded division of Unity Stamp Company. Unity has joined some of your favorite artists and companies in this industry to exclusively provide their images/art in red rubber.

Unity Stamp Co. is more than just another rubber stamping company. We base our integrity and service on inspiration, motivation, positivity and enjoying the creative side of life. We love to encourage our family of customers to strive for the very best this life has to offer. It is important to all 21 employees inside Unity that you as a customer feel valued and know that you are appreciated every single day.

One lucky random entrant will win 2 (two) randomly selected Itty Bitty Stamps!

This is my very first card of 2012!!! I am super excited that I made a vintage card with a simple sentiment--something different for me:) I used some papers from My Mind's Eye along with some cheap rub-ons from Michael's. I did stamp some distressed music notes {Unity} near the bottom. The typewriter rub-on has been applied OVER the ribbon {available HERE from The Ribbon Carousel}. LOVE LOVE LOVE that twill ribbon!!! LOVE this card:) And this is the perfect entry for the Simon Says Stamp and The Pink Elephant challenges {this is my FIRST time playing along with them}! HOOOORAY:)
The RCC team would love for you to join in the fun this week! Here are the details:
  • Make your NEW creation following the ribbon carousel challenge (sketch, inspiration, style or color) image. Be sure to include some type of ribbon, twine, hemp, lace....basically, anything that comes on a spool.
  • Your creation can be ANYTHING from cards, quilts, sewn items, paper crafts, paintings! ***Be sure to have ribbon, bakers twine, jute twine, lace, thread (basically anything that comes on a spool) on your creation! And be sure to follow the RCC challenge theme!
  • Load your creation up onto your blog or a public viewing forum like SplitcoastStampers, (use the keyword RCC34) with a direct link back to The RCC blog post. Including the challenge graphic isn't a requirement, but sure is appreciated! A participant of our very first challenge didn't link back or mention our challenge and couldn't be named Top Spool, so don't let that happen to you!
  • Come back to The RCC blog post and link in your creation using the Inlinkz button at the bottom of this post. Your image may take a little while to pop up but don't worry it will appear shortly.
  • Be sure to come back the Friday after the challenge ends to see if YOU are a Top Spool! :D
This Challenge will end on January 9th at 11:59pm EST.

I really hope you will play along! Please stop by the RCC blog for more details, more projects from the RCC DT, and to link up your creation! Also, please head over to The Ribbon Carousel website and check out their products!!! There are ribbon kits available, as well as ribbon carousels (LOOOOOOOOVE these!)....and my new favorite link on The Ribbon Carousel shop takes you to the NEW ribbons!! I can't wait to put my order in this week!! Love my ribbon:)

Thanks so much for stopping by! Be blessed:}

Three for one:)

Hello, friends:)

Today is FWF over on the Unity blog!! Make sure you stop by HERE and blog hop on all the participants' blogs!! You could win some free Unity stamps!

I created a super fun card--it's for our child in India, John WP!!! His birthday is next week. I also made this card for the CARDS challenge {fox} and The Paper Players challenge {animal/plant}. I love these papers by Crate Paper: Toy Box collection. My fav part is that alphabet card that I made with the fox! ACK! That pattered paper is perfect for it!  I also tried to be deliberate when making the strips of paper crooked--but I think I need to be more deliberate--it just looks like I made a huge mistake! I promise they are supposed to be crooked:)
That's it for me today! THANKS so much for stopping by! Be blessed:}
