Hello, friends:}
Last week, the RC crew had a hop using some of the Quirky Cuties images.... and I'm FINALLY joining in the fun! LOL! I'm a bit late but you can click HERE to check out the entire hop:)
I am joining in the fun with my challenge as well--- DING! I needed another masculine birthday card! Unfortunately, I didn't use any product from my stash- LOL! These papers are from the Becky Higgins Project Life Jade edition. PERFECT for this card!
I used the NEW RC Rocky Raccoon image for this fun card. The sentiment is a mix match from the NEW RC Fresh 'n Fruity and You Make Me Smile sets. I also added some triangles at the bottom (to highlight our friend's birthday) using the Paper Crane set. LOVE LOVE LOVE how this turned out!
That's it for me today! Be sure to stop by the Reverse Confetti blog for more inspiration and details!
Thanks for stopping by! Be blessed:}

I know these colors are a bit girly--- but I found some Project Life journaling cards from the Becky Higgins Coral edition that when put together... are really masculine! LOVE LOVE LOVE! I used the RC Quirky Cuties: Oliver Owl set for this card--- so easy and so fun!

RC: One Layer Masculine card
Hello, friends:}
Today I'm sharing a super simple.... ONE LAYER... MASCULINE card! WOW! I've really stepped out of my comfort zone... or would you say that THIS is my NEW comfort zone! LOL!
I used one of my FAVORITE Reverse Confetti stamp images-- the owl from the Quirky Cuties: Oliver Owl set. LOVE LOVE LOVE him! I wanted to make a simple masculine birthday card (to continue working on my challenges!!!)!!! Ding! Points for finishing another masculine birthday card:) DING DING! I also used old My Mind's Eye papers for this card! LOOOOOOVE when I can combine both of my challenges:)
My favorite part of this is the watercoloring design. It's so random! I used my Tsukineko Memento Cantaloupe and Tangelo dye inks for the beak and feet, Desert Sand dye ink for the body and VersaMagic Oaisis Green pigment ink for the tie! OH MY! Isn't he so cute!?!?!
That's it for me today! Be sure to stop by the Reverse Confetti blog for more inspiration and details!

Reverse Confetti: SFYTT14
Hello, friends:}
I'm joining in the fun with the Reverse Confetti team today! Be sure to stop by the RC blog for more inspiration and details!
We are using the SFYTT#14 as our inspiration. I just love the simplicity of this sketch and used that as my inspiration for a CAS design for my card:) ***I'm thinking CAS is more of my style now-a-days! LOL! ***ANNNNNNNNND hold on to your seat--- I've actually followed this sketch 100%!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! First time in a LOOOOOOOOOOONG TIME! LOL!
I used some Echo Park Splendid Sunshine papers for my cardbase-- and I added a bit of Scotch Neon Pink washi tape for added interest to that side panel. I pulled out some of my "old" chipboard pieces and found this SUPER fun typewriter from the Dear Lizzy/American Crafts collections. I thought it matched the dictionary paper and would really go well with the RC Quirky Cuties Rocky Raccoon sentiment. LOOOOOOOVE! I finished the card by coloring some vellum with my Tsukineko Memento Angel Pink ink and die cutting hearts from the RC Love Note confetti cuts. LOVE LOVE LOVE :)
That's it for me today! Be sure to stop by the Reverse Confetti blog for more inspiration and challenge details for this month's SFYTT!
And mark your calendars!!!!!! Every month on the 16th, the Reverse Confetti will also have a color story challenge!! I hope you will join in the fun with both RC challenges:) And stop by the RC Facebook page and "like" us!!

I stamped a sentiment and then stamped the matching die using Tsukineko VersaMark ink-- this created a very faint line for me to follow when stitching.
For Fabulous Flamingo stamps and coordinating dies.... I went a bit more detailed! I've been wanting to die cut some hearts and use them on the side of my card for about 6 months! LOL! I finally got the chance today;)
I just knew that heart design would work with these flamingos!!! The hearts are from the RC Love Note dies. Part of the sentiment is from the NEW RC So Very Special set. LOVE LOVE LOVE! I guess this is more CAS than I think! LOL! It was super simple to create!

For my second card, I went CAS again! I used a journaling card from Recollections and then die cut the sentiment using the NEW RC Tag Me, Too dies. LOVE!! It's perfect for just about anyone!
Techniques used: I did "straighten" the first sentiment for this card--- it's REAL easy! I just carefully placed it on my acrylic block in a straight line instead of curving it. Then I masked the sentiment and stamped it on my card!
You can see that this sentiment is straight and not curved--- love it!
