Heidi Swapp Memory folder fun......

Good Morning, hope you are enjoying your Sunday.... where ever you are! Today I thought I would continue sharing with you the memory file system by Heidi Swapp. There are plenty of ways to use them when you get the packet I decided to use 2 folders for each of my children, I thought it was a great way to show off some of the professional shots of them and I also wanted to show off there individuality.

So last week I showed you the start of my oldest folder, Tristan and this week I will be showing what I have done for my middle child Ethan.

I decided to keep the front cover similar to the first as I wanted to display them together, because Ethan is younger I decided to add a little bit of fun and whimsy with the sequins and the Greatest View Flair button.

Continuing inside  with the sequins, I have used the Heidi Swapp No Limits Disco Arrows for Ethan's theme. Don't forget to use washi as a quick embellishment as it doesn't take away the focus of the pages.

I have used Steam binding to keep the project together, I love it as you can use anything to die it to the colour that you are after. I love the Heidi Swapp Serendipity Mini Fotostack Book Stars because it instantly adds more pages to your folders without alot of effort.

Do you have mini pegs or pegs that need to  be co ordinated with your layout? To jazz them up why don't you use some washi tape?

Another thing to remember to add to your Memory file, are the Heidi Swapp Clear Pop Clear Clear Tabs......

Radical fun in the sunshine

Hello Sassy friends!
Hope you have all had a wonderful week so far and are looking forward to some 'me-time' over the weekend. With all the rain we have had, there might be a different sort of pool starting in my backyard soon!
I'm sharing a fun summer layout today using Crate's The Pier collection. I've been dying to scrap this pic for a while now - one of my all-time faves for sure!

I've cut a recess into the paper and mounted the image underneath for depth. I couldn't resist that gorgeous pool + sun tag in the ephemera pack! Instead of tying twine to your tags, have a go at sewing them directly onto your layout!
Double mounting different stickers can add interest.
Those boardshorts started life as a tag, but I have trimmed them to fit inside the insta frame and popped some acetate over the top to create a faux slide. I've used Versamark and clear embossing powder to give the impression of water stains.
Thanks so much for popping in today!

Don't forget about our wonderful themed challenge for the month!

Till next time
Have a great weekend

Chantalle

These are the days...

Hello lovely scrappy friends!

We all have those days which we wish could just go on forever. A couple of weeks ago
I had one like that and I'm so thankful for Scrapbooking, so I can remember it all over again.

I've been creating with Echo Park's 'Today's Story' Photo Freedom kit all month
and as you will see with this layout, it's so versatile, I've been able to give it a totally different tone to my other projects.

By pulling out just a few colours, it's given the layout a lovely softness. (It's not often that
I do a girlie layout but I so enjoyed this one!) I've stamped directly onto the page in places,
as well as onto some extra card stock. I then fussy cut the shapes and raised a few on
pop dots for a bit of height.
Whoohoo, I'm learning something new every day, lol. Super excited about this embossing... How great would it be for Project Life, to jazz up an ordinary journalling card!

New Greatest View goodness, teamed with a stunning Glitz ampersand (using Heidi Swapp 'Serendipity' paper) available at the Silhouette online store.

Thanks for popping in today
Wishing you all a wonderful week ahead!

Chantalle

This would be a great alternative stamp!
