Hello All
It is time for our 'Make your Mark' challenge at Addicted to Stamps and More. This is the challenge that really challenges me! I made this card a while ago and am not that impressed with it and decided to share it anyway. I was practising my water colouring.

I gold embossed first and then water coloured trying to make the centre of the flower darker. Finished it off with some spritz glitter.
We are sponsored this week by Dee dees digis-check out their amazing store.
Our DT have done a great job at 'making their mark'-check out their cards here and then get creating!

Love the different colours you've used in the flower; in real they can differ also so much on one petal... Hugs, Gerrina

ReplyDeleteWell done with the w/c, you did a great job. Love the colours you chose. :)
ReplyDeleteWell I think it's just beautiful Sandie!! :) Love how the flower is gold embossed and your splatters add a nice accent!
ReplyDeleteI really need to buy some water color paints and give it a go. This is stunning!
ReplyDeleteI think this card is really beautiful, Sandie! I think the colors blended so nicely, and I love how you added the splatters!
ReplyDeleteLoving this floral beauty Sandie, gorgeous colour choice wih that pop of gold and brilliant water-colours and splatters. Sarah x
ReplyDeleteBeautiful card...I love that flower and your watercoloring, Sandie!
ReplyDeleteThere's absolutely nothing wrong with this card. Perhaps it is the lack of sequins and a heat embossed larger sentiment that makes you feel this way. It's the only thing I can see misses in order for it to be a typical Sandie card, though it doesn't need anything more:)
ReplyDeleteSandie, your card is incredibly pretty; the shading is visible and the colour...oh my! Beautiful! You should feel good about this...and if not, add a couple sequins, as Pia suggested, to see if that 'feels' better. My view: crushing all over it!

I don;t think you need to practice!!! You card is gorgeous!!! Love it!!

ReplyDeleteWhat beautiful colours and they go so well with the gold embossing. This challenge always 'challenge's' me too, although I don't seem to be able to stop water colouring at the moment. I'm sure it will be a phase for me and I'll be back to stamping soon.......
