Make and Take Saturdays

18th June   Rubber stamping techniques   with Julie Atkinson

  

There will be several make and takes throughout the day. The sessions will last approximately 30mins each.

Sunday 26th  June  - Molly Blooms 10 am – 3.30pm

 

Clare the designer of the fabulous Molly Bloom Stamps will be in store. We are very pleased that she can join us today to give you lots and lots of inspiration. Her creations are absolutely adorable.

 

2nd July  -  Do -Crafts- with Pat Taylor   10am - 4pm

 

The July Promotion   will be launched in store today   so come along for some hints tips and ideas to help you make some fabulous cards

 

2nd July  - Get Creativ  with Kay Halliwell-Sutton 10am - 4pm

 

Kay will be in store showing you how to get the most out of the fantastic range of wooden and chipboard products from Creativ with the help of   acrylic paints, glitter and rubber stamps

 

30th  July  - Lindsey Mason from Personal Impressions 10am - 4pm

 

Lindsey will be in store to show you some of her latest designs which will give you lots of ideas to produce some fantastic cards of your own

  

30th July  - Polkadoodles 10am-4pm

 

Nikki will be in store to introduce you the fantastic range of Polka Doodle products including Christmas, and show you how to get the most from her range of stamps and CD Roms.

Saturday 14th May Demo Day at Roseville Street showroom

This Saturday we have John Glossop doing a demonstration in our Roseville Street showroom, his work is absolutely fantastic. He will be demonstrating with a selection of Creative Expressions rubber stamps, distress inks, embossing folders and masks .  His work is absolutely fantastic.  It is great to get a males perspective of papercraft and I am sure you will not be disappointed.  Why not pop in and see for yourself

Saturday 7th May - Craftwork Cards Demo at Roseville Street store

We have a Craftwork Cards demonstration in our Roseville Street store on Saturday 7th May.  The wonderfully talented Julie Hickey will be here demonstrating the new"Fruit Scoop" products which are brand new and only go on sale on Saturday!!!

We are also running "Free Workshops" on Saturday for people who have not attended one before, we still have a couple of places left left so ring us on 0113 2480044 to book a place.  There is a £5 refundable deposit payable when you book.

Look forward to seeing you all on Saturday for a fun filled day.

Celebration Demo Days at Embsay... coming soon

Coming soon here at our Embsay store on Saturday the 19th of March we have John Glossop from Creative Expressions who will be sharing with you his creativity in an all day demonstration beginning at 10am through till 4pm.

John's style is quite distinctive and he has a wealth of knowledge when it comes to the very on trend grungey altered art look. He is an avid stamper too so if you are new to stamping then it would be a fantastic opportunity to ask any questions you may have.

Also coming soon we have this talented lady which I think most of you will recognise...

That's right we have the lovely Amy Shaw joining us on Saturday 16th of April for a day full of demonstrations again starting at 10am through to 4pm.

Demo Day this Saturday!

Don't forget about our DO Crafts Demo Day this Saturday 5th March, starting from 10.00 am till 16.00. Pat will be making cards from new collections from Papermania and Carol will be showing new rubber stamps. If you are lucky, you might take something home! We have lots of new craft goodies in store so come in, join our demonstrators, have a cuppa and stock up on the latest we have to offer!


And if you took part in our Copic/Promarker challenge make sure you'll pop in here tomorrow when we'll reveal the lucky winner of the prize and set a new dare with some fab surprises to win.

Polkadoodle demonstration this weekend !

At our Embsay store this Saturday the 12th of Feb we have the lovely Nikky Hall joining us, the creative lady behind the gorgeous Polkadoodle CD's.

Nicky will be sharing with you fantastic on trend ideas and her creative knowledge...so if you have never tried crafting with CD's before Saturday is the perfect opportunity to have any questions you might have about this answered.

Here are a couple of projects made with the CD's to give you feel of how yummy Polkadoodle's CD's are !

That's right, this Saturday the 16th of October, the talented  Francoise Reed will be at the Embsay store to share with you her expertise on how to create beautiful cards to wow your friends and family this Christmas using her own designs from Woodware. Here are a couple of cards Francoise made to inspire you.

Francoise will be sharing her expertise all day on stamping, colouring and how to add that lovely finishing touch that makes your cards stand out from the rest !

Stitch 'n' Bliss Baby Blanket Day - Thank you for your support!

Thank you all for joining us yesterday during Stitch 'n' Bliss Baby Blanket Day - ladies you were fab! We had a great time and made quite a lot of blanket squares. We're plannig to hold similar events on a regular basis to knit baby hats and bootees - there's so many little children waiting for them! Watch this space for all the updates.

October Make & Takes in Roseville Street Store

We know how much you've enjoyed weekly summer make and takes so in October we've prepared for you a lot of new surprises.

On the 16th with Carol you'll make amazing flowers using Spellbinders die cut shapes. You won't believe how many different ones you can create!

On the 23rd a real treat for your kids (or for those who are still big kids at heart) - Trick or Treat Bags! Asia will help them to put the bags together and embellish them.


On the 30th you'll get your cards in shape for Christmas. Carol will show you how to create stunning cards in unusual shapes.

All the Make & Takes start at 11.00 am and last till 3.00 pm. So see you on Saturday!
