hello!
happy Wednesday!
today I have this fun card up on the Lawn Fawnatics Challenge blog!
the theme for the current challenge is all about weather, and I just couldn't resist making another rainbow card with the Rainbow Die! I added color with Distress Inks and then splattered some white acrylic paint on top!
the background was ink blended with Wilted Violet, Blueprint Sketch and Peacock Feathers Distress Inks! and then I used Puffy Cloud Borders Dies and die cut some clouds in vellum and white cardstock!
once everything was in place and stuck down, I used some white embossing paste and a star stencil to add some texture! what fun!!!
the smile was added with the largest smiley face from Let's Toast! and the sentiment is from Critters at the Dog Park! so much fun!
be sure to play along, and to head over to the Lawn Fawnatics Challenge blog to check out all of the details, too!
enjoy!

Newton's Nook Designs February Release - Loads of Blooms + coordinating Die, Flower Trio Die, Bold Blooms Stencil, Bokeh Stencil Set
hello!
I am super in love with this release!
oh how I love all of these new stamps, stencils and dies!! just wait until you see it all! but in the mean time, check out what we're working with today!
Loads of Blooms + coordinating Die, Flower Trio Die, Bold Blooms Stencil, Bokeh Stencil Set
you can totally create a project life type spread, gift tags and, of course, cards! all of the new sets will be available for purchase on February 15th, right here!
my first project is a scrapbook layout of my bestie's kids from Easter last year!
this was so fun to make! I brushed on some pinks and corals and once it was dry, used some white embossing paste and the Bold Blooms stencil in the background!
I also sprinkled on some more of the pinks and corals and also white!
I die cut out the flowers from the Flower Trio Die many times with patterned papers and vellum, then stitched them all together for some dimension! then I sprinkled on lots of coordinating embellishments from my stash!
my 2nd project is a cute, cute birthday card with the new Loads of Blooms stamp set!
I looooooove how this card came out! it may just be my new favorite!
I used Distress inks to ink blend the hills (Land Borders Die Set) and the clouds (Sky Borders Die Set), and layered them on top of the 'rain' background I used with white embossing paste and the grey cardstock!
I also amped up this card with some clear rain drop accents!! LOOOOVE the look of those!
