Sweet Stamp Shop July 2016 Release!

hello again!!
how awesome has July been, am i right?!

today Sweet Stamp Shop is releasing some AWESOME new stamp sets!! eight in all! EIGHT people!! and they're all INCREDIBLE! he he he!

so yeah, you're in love, i can tell! i know i am!
for my first card, i used the adorable Shining Star stamp set!

i colored the images with Distress Markers, and then popped up the big stars! i added some sequins in a similar yellow and LOVE how that adds to the 'night' sky feel!

i couldn't help but add some detail with the white gel pen! the background was created with Distress Inks (Chipped Sapphire, Peacock Feathers and Tumbled Glass). then i splattered some water and white paint on top too!

my second card uses super fun Spa Day stamp set! LOVE IT!

again, i watercolored the images with Distress Markers! and guys...that CUTE cat mask!? SOOOO adorable!! ha! 

i popped it up on top of her face! i don't know why, but i thought it worked! :) i did some Cracked Pistachio blending on the background, and then (again) splattered some water and also, some of the ink itself, onto the background! the sentiment was stamped in grey and i LOVE the subtle, calming feel (as opposed to the harshness of black ink).
