I was blogwalking yesterday and I discovered another 'making money blogging' program from YMads. I've been using ebay since 2002 until now with same ebay and paypal account. Finally : Youtube video marketing rewards me

I checked on one of my affiliate account and it shows one new sales generated. Definitely it comes from youtube video marketing that I promote. Finally the efforts give me the rewards. Even the money is not much, but I believe it will bring more sales in the future. This is a local affiliate, not from the clickbank or comission junction.

When I started the promotion, I simply too confident to get sales and money as easy as explained. But now I admit, there is no easy money. Sometimes it depends on the effort, while luck also has to be considered.

I've been working on the techniques for nearly a month, only now it pays me. Probably I didn't follow 100% of the lesson from Puan Lisa. Or because I just watched the video tutorial only once? I think I have to watch it again for revision.

Malaysian Business reports that Malaysian 40 richest income has decreased to sum of RM 96.30 billion by January 2009. This is affected much by Kuala Lumpur Stock Exchange (KLSE) index drops, due to world financial crisis. About half of the richest loses their wealth by almost 50% or more. This sounds so bad to us isn’t it?

Here is the top 10 lists 2009, Malaysia Richest person;

Tudung Ekin on YouTube

It is proven that video marketing can boost up your blog or website on top page of Search Engine. This video uploaded on Wed 21 Jan 2009 10:55:28 PST , has been viewed 292 times. But the matter that I want to emphasis is about the rank for "Tudung Ekin" search results by Google, ranked 7th on the 1st page. This really amazing after 22 days 'on air'.
I didn't do much for http://CaftanOnline.com promotion, especially when tudung ekin keyword has so many competitors.

But the smart YouTube helps me. I have to do it the smart way. I know, outhere has too many people with fascinating skills in SEO and they do expertise SEO for living. But me, I'm a little guys in a big world. I know video marketing is so powerfull. But this is not much, compare to what puan Lisa exposed on how to earn more money from YouTube.

This is my first attempt on video marketing, based on my experience and knowledge. Perhaps in the future, I will gain more as what she earned. I will practising whatever I'll learn from this guide.

Alhamdulillah.

First of all, I'm happy with what I've achieved with tudung ekin on ebay (since I'm not happy with lelong performace, .. just one listing left on lelong, to finish up the fees paid). Here are among the keywords for samdaddycool blog, organic data I get from Nuffnang dashboard today;

Seriously, most of my ebay income now is generated from selling tudung ekin. I know this blog is not strong enough to challenge for tudung ekin SEO, but yet ebay helped me a lot. No wonder, most of Malaysian IM now has taken their first step to make money from ebay.


Since got few Malaysian Internet Marketer start teaching newbie , " How to make money from eBay", or "How to make money from the Internet". For me, we have to take the smart move. Don't start losing your focus when they said, "ebay boleh buat duit", "jual ebook senang buat duit", or "Maintain blog boleh dapat duit senang apa?" (Translated; ebay can make money", "selling ebook can earn fast cash", or "Maintaining a blog can give part time money". By learning from the expert on how to do dropshipping on ebay is something that we really have to appreciate. If we are thinking about, "jana wang tanpa modal". Dropship is the right answer.

I've heard that lots of workers (especially factory workers), start losing their job, due to world economy dropping. Why not give a try with Internet? Don't loose before you start. Don't afraid with the word 'FAIL' or 'FAILURE'. If the word can't get out from your head that means you better off from this alternative method. Find prepare you for retrenchment. Don't wait until your boss says, "You're fired" (sounds like Donald Trump.. :P ). We never had been perfect to avoid failure.

Just image what our grand can get with 5 sen 30 - 40 years ago. Time changed. If you are not willing to fail now, you might be a loser in 5 years time. Who knows? Learned from a mistake is a very good lesson (but don't make yourself a fool by failing your 1st try).

Alternative during economy crisis

I'm still waiting for the payment of pancutkan isteri affiliate programme (doh! - sounds sooo 18sx)... It's already due as the affiliates should get paid by every 25th of the month. Currently, I managed 11 sales (can't get it more after half of the month - not really sure why people stop buying??) Got to settle some bills and debt.

30th of December today, 45 hours before the countdown and I'm worried of coming 2009 with unstable world's economy. My head keep thinking of alternative income stream. Besides my tudung (scarf) at pasar malam (night market) and lelong. I have put extra effort to clearing my old stocks of jubah (abaya) on my ebay store. Seriously, the inflation keeps crossing to my mind. I have to be well prepared before sales get stuck with pile of stock.

For those with permanent job in the government sector... probably you are the luckiest person on earth for the rest of the slow activity. For the private sector employees, watch out and be careful with retrenchment. You might get sacked anytime, any moment, start from now on.

I'm not trying to scare you but please stand on the reality. When the economy is slow, trades are less in demand and will force the production to cut down. When this happen, most factories has to cut their cost in many ways.

I'm not an expert to discuss about the economy analysis but I try to convince myself to prepare for any possibilities that might happen. I'm sharing my awareness here with a hope to earn more in the future. Money is the matter. It is. Without money you can't move now days. Even 20 cents needed to enter a public toilet.

I might start a small medium agriculture project (food based industry is good during economy crisis). Maybe planting chilli using fertigrasi or melon sounds more delicious?

2008 is getting to the end. The online business (ebay) is slow.. slowing.. as it is quite late for pysical product get delivered just before christmas (for the gift). Anyway, my ofline business is getting better while others seems not happy for their sales.. (this is call business - sometimes you are on top, sometimes you go to the bottom).. + the school is opening and parents need to save some cash for the kids to start schooling again.

This is why I feel quite disappointed about my sleep.. (actually I went to bed @ 3am... don't blame me not to sleep, I'm dealing with 'jiwa kacau' ....sometimes). So what I should get this morning just gone.. (tak solat subuh tak menyesal!.. bad boy.. bad boy..).



Anyway, 2009 is showing up and again, everybody start talking about New Year Resolution (azam tahun baru).. Anything you want to achieve next year?

Qualls had no connections nor formal training. No business professionals in the family. No rich aunt or uncle. In the working-class community of downriver Detroit, south of downtown and the sprawling Ford plant in Dearborn, Michigan, she bounced back and forth between her divorced parents, neither of whom attended college. Her father is a machinist. Her mother was a retail data collector for ACNielsen; she now works for her daughter for $500 a week. It was Linda who gave Qualls the initial investment: $8 to register the domain name. Ashley still hasn’t spent a dime on advertising.

In January 2006, a few months after that first payday and six months before her 16th birthday, she withdrew from school. Instead of taking AP English, French, and Algebra II, instead of being a straight-A sophomore at Lincoln Park High School, Ashley stayed home to nurture her budding business and take classes through an online high school. “Everybody was shocked,” she says. “They asked, “Are you sure you know what you’re doing?’ But I had this crazy opportunity to do something different.”

Running a growing company without an MBA, not to mention a high-school diploma, is hard enough, but Ashley confronts another extraordinary complication. Business associates may forget that she is 17, but Detroit’s Wayne County Probate Court has not. She’s a minor with considerable assets–”business affairs that may be jeopardized,” the law reads–that need protection in light of the rift her sudden success has caused in an already fractious family. In January, a probate judge ruled that neither Ashley nor her parents could adequately manage her finances.
