Blessed Pope Pius IX, Our Lady of Good Success and a Prophecy Fulfilled!

I have posted on Our Lady of Good Success on this blog in the past. Well it was in the year 1634 that she predicted the events of the life of Pope Pius IX! This was over 200 years before Pope Pius IX took office! The following is a summary of the prophecy of Our Lady at Quito:
Provided for the betterment of your soul, is a summary of the Catholic Church, officially approved prophecies given by The Blessed Virgin Mary under Her title of Our Lady of Good Success (1634 A.D.) in Quito, Ecuador. The Virgin Mary declared that many of the important and ominous events She foretold, would manifest themselves near the 20th Century.
The Blessed Virgin unmistakenly predicted happenings in the life of the future Pontiff Pius IX which cannot be denied took place.
Please see the words of Our Lady of Good Success given in 1634 A.D., regarding Pope Pius IX below:
On December 8, 1634, the feast of the Immaculate Conception, three archangels and their Queen appeared to Mother Mariana. St. Gabriel was carrying a Ciborium filled with Hosts which The Blessed Virgin Mary explained:
"This signifies the Most August Sacrament of the Eucharist, which will be distributed by my Catholic priests to faithful Christians belonging to the Holy Roman, Catholic and Apostolic Church, whose visible head is the Pope, the King of Christianity. His pontifical infallibility will be declared a dogma of the Faith by the same Pope chosen to proclaim the dogma of the Mystery of My Immaculate Conception. He will be persecuted and imprisoned in the Vatican by the unjust usurpation of the Pontifical States through the iniquity, envy and avarice of an earthly monarch."
This holy Pope was of course Blessed Pius IX who fulfilled every prediction made by Our Lady. His body recently exhumed, was found miraculously preserved in the tomb where it had lain for more than a century. His face still showed a striking serenity in death.

Don Bosco's Popes: Pius IX

The following comes from SDB.org:
Pius IX Giovanni Maria Ferretri was born in Senigallia (Ancona) on 13th May 1792. He was elected Pope on 16th June 1846. He died 7th February 1878 and was beatified on 3rd September 2000. St. John Bosco had his first audience with Pius IX on 7th March 1954. The Pontiff immediately understood the Saint and, persuaded that his work was willed by God and very needed in those times, encouraged him to set it up as a stable group. He gave him precious advice and Don Bosco overcame many difficulties through this direct advice. He suggested that Don Bosco call his congregation a ‘Society’, and said that vows were necessary but that they should be simple. He advised simplicity in manner of dress and in practices of piety and ordered Don Bosco to write his memoirs. He gave many signs of his affection and also offered material support. During his pontificate the Salesian Society and its Constitutions were approved, as also the Institute of the Daughters of Mary Help of Christians and the Pious Union of Salesian Cooperators. He reserved the role of protector of the Society to himself.
