Sai Baba & Durga Devi's Navratri was celebrated very grandly at Mahayogi Shirdi Sai Baba Sannidi, Mallasandra in Tumkur Monday, 15th Oct 2012 to Wednesday, 24th Oct 2012. Kolkatta Kali's Idol along with the Kalas was installed on the 1st day of Navaratri in the temple Premises & the 9 day Navratri Puja Commenced in this temple. On all the 9 days of Navaratri, Special Puja to Sai Baba & Durga Devi were performed in the Temple.Various Alankars were performed to Sri Sai Baba on all the 9 Days of Navaratri.

On Sai Punyathithi / Vijaya Dasami Day Special Sheerabishek, Vastra Alankar & Pushpa Alankar was performed to Sri Shirdi Sai Baba. Special Flower Arrangement was performed in all the sanctums of the temple.

On Friday, 26th October 2012, the Navratri festival was finally completed by performing the Chandika Homam in the temple premises along with Gana Homam, Navagraha Homam, Mrithyunjaya Homam & Sai Moola Mantra Homam. Durga Devi Saptashati parayan was performed during the Chandika Homam & Bali Puja was performed with Sweet Rice & other Spices. The Program Commenced at 9:30am & completed at 3:30pm with Purnahuti which was later performed at the end of the homam by putting spices, silk saree & other fruits & dry fruits into the Sacred Agni.

After the Completion of Aarti, Homam Raksha/ Black Theeka was given as Prasad along with Theerth Prasad. Prasad consisting of Tamarind Rice/ Puliyogra, Sweet Rice & Curd Rice were distributed to Devotees gathered to the event for the Mid day meals.

Baba was well dressed for the day & Durga Devi's newly Installed Sanctum, Durga Saptashati Parayan & Baba's Alankar at the sanctum were the main attraction of this event. I'm sharing a glimpse of the Baba & Durga Devi's Decoration & Chandika Homa Puja Peformed during Navratri 2012.

Sai Baba's Punyathithi was celebrated at Sri Shirdi Sai Baba Mandir at Sri Shirdi Sai Baba Nagar in Tumkur on Wednesday, 24th Oct 2012. On all the 9 days of Navaratri, Special Puja to Sai Baba & Durga Devi were performed in the Temple.Various Alankars were performed to Sri Sai Baba on all the 9 Days of Navaratri.

On Sai Punyathithi / Vijaya Dasami Day Special Sheerabishek, Vastra Alankar & Pushpa Alankar was performed to Sri Shirdi Sai Baba. Special Flower Arrangement was performed on the Prabhavali behind the Simhasan.

In the Evening, Vishnu Sahasranamam & Sai Bhajans were performed till 6:15pm after which Dhoop Aarti was performed after keeping Naivaithya to Sri Sai Baba.

After the Completion of Dhoop Aarti, Prasad consisting of Tamarind Rice/ Puliyogra & Soan Papdi Sweet were distributed to Devotees gathered to the event.

Baba was well dressed for the day & Sai Baba's Newly installed Golden Simhasan & Silver Paduka at the sanctum were the main attraction of this event. I'm sharing a glimpse of the Baba's Decoration for the Sai Punyathithi Day 2012.

Sai Baba's Punyathithi was celebrated at Tumkur Shirdi - Sri Sai Baba Dwaraka Mandir at Euro School Campus in Tumkur on Wednesday, 24th Oct 2012. Kalas & Durga Devi's Mukut Stapana was performed on the 1st Day of Navratri on 15th October 2012. On all the 9 days of Navaratri, Special Puja to Sai Baba & Durga Devi were performed in the Temple. Devi Saptha Shathi Parayan & Baba's Moola Mantra Japa was performed daily in the temple Premises.

On Sai Punyathithi / Vijaya Dasami Day Special Sheerabishek, Vastra Alankar & Pushpa Alankar was performed to Sri Shirdi Sai Baba. Special Flower Arrangement was performed on Baba's Palki.

In the Evening Sai Baba's Palki Utsav was performed with the Utsav Murthy of Sai Baba installed on a the Palki around the temple premises & Bhajans were sung to mark this even. After the Palki of Sai Baba Returned to the temple, Dhoop Aarti was performed after keeping Naivaithya to Sri Sai Baba.

After the Completion of Dhoop Aarti, Prasad consisting of Vegetable Rice was distributed to Devotees gathered to the event.

Sai Baba's Punyathithi was celebrated at Sri Shirdi Sai Baba Mandira, Amarjyothi Layout off Kunigal Road in Tumkur on Wednesday, 24th Oct 2012. On all the 9 days of Navaratri, Special Puja to Sai Baba & Durga Devi were performed in the Temple. Devi Saptha Shathi Parayan was performed daily in the temple Premises.

On Sai Punyathithi / Vijaya Dasami Day Special Sheerabishek, Vastra Alankar & Pushpa Alankar was performed to Sri Shirdi Sai Baba. Special Flower Arrangement to resemble a Shawl on the Samadhi was performed on the Sanctum. Kalas & Deepa Puja were Performed on the final Day of the Navaratri Utsav.

In the Evening Sai Baba's Rath Utsav was performed with the Utsav Murthy of Sai Baba installed on a Well Decorated Tractor going rounds in the Amarjyothi Layout & also participating in the High School Field Utsav where in Utsav Murthy from Different Temples of Tumkur were brought is specially decorated raths/ tractors & displayed to the People of Tumkur at one Place. After the Rath Utsav, the idol of Baba was brought back to the temple by 6:30pm for the evening Dhoop Aarti.

After the Completion of Dhoop Aarti, Prasad consisting of Fruit Juice, Sheera & Poha were distributed to all Devotees gathered to the event.

Baba was well dressed for the day & the flower decoration at the sanctum was the main attraction of this event. I'm sharing a glimpse of the Baba's Decoration for the Sai Punyathithi Day 2012.

Sai Baba's Punyathithi was celebrated at Sri Shirdi Sai Baba Mandira, Jayanagar East in Tumkur on Wednesday, 24th Oct 2012. 9 Day Navaratri festival began by installing Durga Devi's Potrait along with Kalas Stapana. On all the 9 days Special Puja to Sai Baba & Durga Devi were performed in the Temple.

On Sai Punyathithi / Vijaya Dasami Day, Sai Baba's Marble Idol was given a Sheerabhishekam early in the morning after the Kakad Aarti. Baba's Alankar was done with New Vastra & Lot of Garlands. A Special Garland Made up of Cardamom / Elaichi was decorated on Sri Sai Baba for the first time by a Devotees Request.

In the After Noon Sai Baba's Rath Utsav covering the Prominent Localities of Tumkur were performed with the Utsav Murthy of Sai Baba installed on a Well Decorated Tractor. After the Rath Utsav, the idol of Baba was brought back to the temple by 6:30pm for the evening Dhoop Aarti.

After the Completion of Dhoop Aarti, Bhajan Programs were performed in the temple premises & ended with the Shej Aarti to Sri Sai Baba. Sheera Prasad was distributed to all Devotees gathered to the event.

Baba was as usual well dressed for the day & the Aroma of Cardamom was quite amazing. Spicy but soothing. I'm sharing a glimpse of the Baba's Decoration for the Sai Punyathithi Day 2012.

Here are the Complete set of 173 snaps shared by Sai Sansthan Shirdi of the Punyathithi Celebrations at Shirdi. Sai Baba's Aarti, Abhishek, Palki Utsav, Procession, Dahi Handi, Rath Utsav, Bhiksha Zaali, Akhanda Parayan were performed on this event.
