SSINKspiration: Friday Favorite - Watercolor Pencils

Today over at SSINKspiration we are showing you how great the NEW Watercolor Pencils are!  

Here is the card that I created today...

I used the pencils on this card to color in the globe.  Then I used my Aqua Painter that was filled with water to blend in my pencil coloring.  Watercolor Pencils work the best on our Watercolor paper!  We hope that you will try out this great new product!  It's one of my favorites for sure!

Watercolor Wednesday

It's Watercolor Wednesday over at SSINKspiration!  You won't want to miss these fun cards!

Here is mine...

I don't often take the time to watercolor since I love to create quick and easy cards.  BUT...one of my downline members showed me this fun and easy technique to watercolor a background and I loved it!

I used a size D clear block.  Inked half of the block directly with a Old Olive Ink Pad and then the  other half with an Garden Green Ink Pad.  You give it a spritz of water (or if you don't have that...Stampin' Mist) and then pressed directly onto a piece of Watercolor Paper!  Let it dry and it's done!!

SSINKspiration: Watercolor Wednesday

Today is Watercolor Wednesday over at SSINKspiration!  I wasn't going to participate because watercoloring isn't really my favorite technique BUT, I just happened to get my Paper Pumpkin Kit in the mail today and this is what was in it...

These card bases are pre-printed with Coastal Cabana watercolor stripes and I think they are SO CUTE!

This March 2014 kit is one of my absolute favorites!  I love the stamps that came with the kit, I love the wood sentiment pieces and I really LOVE the sparkly, gold dot stickers!!
