May 2016

May 2nd was our anniversary.  We celebrated with delicious crepes that Ryan made for the family.

Where Davis is, most likely Lucy is there also.
Claire loves to hold Davis but he gets heavy to her after a little while so she ends up laying down herself while holding him.
They lured some ants in with their apple and were enthralled watching them.
Lucy's class at school made this big earth with band aids on it to show different ways we can help the earth.  They drew names at the end to see who got to take it home and it was Lucy.
Ryan re-did our kitchen table and made this bench too.  We then ordered some white chairs to match. It was a good facelift to our yucky old brown table.
We got a rapid boiler thing as part of a Christmas present and Ryan took it outside with the kids to try it out.
We tried so hard to get Davis to be a tummy sleeper since it seems to help reflux, but he wasn't having it.  He would only sleep for a very short amount of time.
We love Lucy's long hair but it was starting to get a little too thinned out and spangly at the bottom so my friend Jill cut her hair.
Lucy started swimming lessons at Goldfish Swim School and made awesome progress and quickly.  She went from being afraid of being in the water and getting her face anywhere close to it, to swimming independently underwater for quite a distance!  This place was awesome- the water was always kept at 90 degrees, the class size was no bigger than 4 people, and they had the perfect equipment for teaching certain concepts.
Lucy and Claire could run around in our backyard all day everyday.  They "race" back and forth from where Ryan sits in one of our chairs over to our neighbor's garage and back.
The girls love to help give Davis a bath.
We decided to venture out and go to Mohican.  We took fishing stuff and had a picnic and enjoyed being outside.
Claire loves everything about the outdoors... except the bugs and dirt and fish and mud.  And everything. Ha!
Claire used stickers on each of her fingers as band-aids.
Here's the table with the white chairs.  Definitely brightens up the room.
 Cutest sad face ever.
The girls made this fort on their own and pretended it was one of the three little pigs house and made Ryan and I take turns being the pretend wolf and huffing and puffing to try and blow the house down.  They played this for hours on end, days straight.
We spent Memorial Day with the Neeley's at their house, having a BBQ and playing outside in water.  And that wrapped up the end of May for us!
