me

Lord

Let me remember

All the victories

Not the defeats

I’m human still

I just know

I need you

More than ever

Let me not

Grow bitter

At my kindness

Being misunderstood

I reminded

I can’t control others

Just myself

As hard as

It is

Pray for me

Having empathy

Means sometimes

You say

The wrong things

Then beg

For forgiveness

  2. YEs, focus on the positives and never the negatives. And those who might misunderstand your empathy and kindness are in great need of prayer. It can never be wrong to show empathy to another, regardless of how they receive it. That's their problem, not yours. You keep doing what you know is right. God is with you.

  4. What is wonderful is God knows what is in our hearts and that is the main thing, we can not let others change that. May God grant you peace!

  6. It's such a good thing to remember the victories, and also to look back and remember how God was with us in the defeats.

  10. Oh I am so that way sometimes! I have to force myself to think of the positive. The most frequent thing I tell myself is, "Just stop!" Then I ask the Holy Spirit to control my thoughts. You are not alone in this!
