SEPTEMBER 8, 2023 – Undoubtedly one of the best debut albums ever, KEANE’s HOPES AND FEARS will be released as a special remastered version on May 10, 2024, exactly 20 years after its initial release. In celebration of this special anniversary edition, the band will play a handful of UK dates including London’s 02 Arena on May 10th, officially kicking off their world tour on April 1stin Mexico City, Keane reaches the U.S. in September, including shows at LA’s Greek Theatre, Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium and New York City’s Radio City Music Hall. A landmark album for Keane, Hopes and Fears set all kinds of records upon release on both sides of the Atlantic. As one of the best-selling albums in UK chart history, selling over 2.5 million in the UK in its first year, it sold platinum here in the U.S. (shipping almost 2 million units). The album locked in the #1 position on Billboard’s Heatseekers chart, propelled by their classic songs “Somewhere Only We Know” and “Everybody’s Changing” which claimed the #2 and #6 spots on Billboard Adult Alternative chart respectively. As a testament to the band’s long-standing legacy, “Somewhere Only We Know” has enjoyed a recent revival on Tik Tok, going viral in Indonesia which lit the spark for a global renaissance of the track which currently clocks up two million Spotify streams a day. In the past 12 months, it has become Island Records’ biggest selling single, having been streamed over a billion times so far. Next year’s tour will celebrate Keane’s acclaimed body of work from their imperious debut Hopes and Fears to their 2019 studio album Cause and Effect. Los Angeles, CA - October 5, 2022 – It was announced today that Ringo Starr and His All Starr Band Live At The Greek Theater 2019 (Roccabella via BFD/The Orchard) will be released on November 25, 2022 on DVD, Blu Ray, CD and be available on a special yellow double LP, as a Record Store Day Exclusive. Pre-order it here.

 

This collection commemorates Ringo Starr and His All Starr Band’s (Steve Lukather, Colin Hay, Greg Rollie, Hamish Stuart, Warren Ham and Gregg Bissonnette) 2019 performance at the Greek Theater, captured nearly 30 years to the day when Ringo and his very first All Starr Band played there on September 3, 1989. This was the last show of that tour in 2019, which included shows throughout the US and Canada as well as Japan.  It also celebrated 30 years of wonderful music, and to mark the occasion All Starrs from throughout the years including Joe Walsh, Nils Lofgren and Jim Keltner from the first band, as well as Edgar Winter, Eric Carmen and Wally Palmer, flooded onto the stage to join in for the final song, “With A Little Help From My Friends”. This momentous and celebratory concert was captured on film, and watching it the viewer is transported into that open air arena among the Redwoods in Griffith Park. 

 

From its inception and first tour in 1989 with the inaugural All Starr lineup –Joe Walsh, Dr. John, Billy Preston, Rick Danko and Levon Helm from The Band, Clarence Clemons and Nils Lofgren from Bruce Springsteen's E Street Band, and session drum legend Jim Keltner–until the current and 15^th iteration on tour now – Ringo Starr and His All Starr Band, who he has called  “the best 1-800-band in the land,” deliver shows packed with hits that continue to delight audiences around the world. On this current tour, which was initially booked for 2020, fans held on to tickets until 2022, and the joy is apparent show after show. Ringo often says of the concerts that they are peace and love fests, “I love the audience and they love me and the band,” and that is exactly what was captured at the Greek on September 2, 2019.
