I was getting ready to post about our garden and was talking about this post about our trees and then realized I never even posted this. Lame. Anyway we are getting our backyard all spifified (a word? no?) but we are making it all fancy and whatnot. because... you know... planting trees is "fancy"! We wanted to do it last year but with my pregnancy and all that fun stuff going on we never got around to it. but we are changing that this year baby! We plated 2 pear trees, transplanted out lime tree from out of the middle of the yard to the fence line. We planted a really pretty Red Bud in the front yard and this weekend we are getting a nice shade tree (which one I can not say...because I don't know yet) and are going to plant in the backyard as well. and we only broke ONE pipe, I'll consider that a success! Fun things going on around here at the Hogge house. I love Texas weather and the fact that we haven't had to stay inside at all practically this winter!
