Happy Thanksgiving everyone! I hope that this post is finding everyone Stuffed and Happy. we are still full over here and it's been a few days! Well, I will tell you a little about our Turkey day this year. The day was absolutely beautiful! It got up to about 62 degrees YAY!!! We were loving it, and we took the boys to the park first thing. They played on the swings and went down the slides and had a great time. It's been way to cold to do anything around here so that was something to be very thankful for! I thought I didn't really care much about Thanksgiving and that it didn't matter that we weren't back home. But sure enough half way through the day I broke down and starting crying because I missed my family so much. Rob was so cute he didn't know what to do, he kept saying "do you want to go home for Christmas? I will go and buy tickets right now" Ha, Men really don't know what to do when women cry and women can pretty much get anything they want if they cry! (not that I have ever done this before ;) Anyway I got over it and was so grateful that we have good friends here that invited us over to celebrate with them. It made it a lot easier! We went to our friends, the Biggs, house and we ate with them and their fam. it was a great meal, and Mel cooked the turkey for the first time and it turned out awesome. I couldn't have done it that's for sure. The kids had fun playing and we ate WAY too much! all in all it was a great day and hope you all had a great day too!
