I think it's going to be brutal.
It already has a bad start: unexpected deaths, sickness, and a nasty winter.
I think there will a lot of natural disasters, and a lot of hardship this year.
I really am not trying to be all doom and gloom, it's just that I can't shake this feeling.
Let's hope it isn't so.
I plan on doing my best to stay positive, no matter what life deals me this year.

Nasty nasty winter here too. Keep your chin up! I guess it always could be worse:(
I hope you're wrong, but you never know. Things in the world are in Flux and there is a feeling of the unknown, unpredictable. But I tended to live life with the feeling the other shoe can drop ever since I had my terrible year at 34 years old--maybe even earlier than that. Some might say that's the wrong attitude to live with, but it has made me appreciate the good days so much more. When you expect the worst, whatever you get seems sweeter.
I have a feeling its gonna be a great year! I have so many plans. I hope you are wrong but one never knows those feeling are something to believe but I still live like its gonna be great until its not. Guess Im a glass half full kinda person
I have great plans for the year, and lots of fun things I want to do, like another blogger trail ride and maybe go to some horse shows, but being on pension now my funds are limited. Lots of things I can do though!
I just think on the world scale that things are going to get rough(er) this year.
I think there are many people (especially in the States) that also feel rough times are upon us. The climate has shifted, and natural disasters follow - this alone is devastating at so many levels. I also try to focus on the positive, altho some days are harder then others. I look forward to seeing all the great things you will experience, now that you are retired!
Funny Shirley. I have the same feeling. :(
