Birthday card

 Hi Every one.  I can't believe that I finally made it to my blog.  There is so much going on right now...  I'm sure that a lot of you can relate to to that.

I made this card a couple of moths ago for a dear friend and I'm finally getting around to posting it.

The card was stamped with a stamp from Taylor expressions',,

and the flowers were colored with copics by my husband.

I have only made 3 cards in about the last six months.

and you would not believe the third card I made I forgot to take a picture of it before I gave it away.

I am really out of practice.

Some of the things that have kept me away are Dr. Appointments, and a lot of special things going on in my life right now.

My granddaughter is getting married next months.  The Bridle shower kept me busy (it went very well)  and now preparations' for the up coming  wedding.

  Another thing I am looking forward to is the fact that I am going to get to see my grandson for the first time in two and half years.  I miss him so much.  He's getting a leave from the military for two weeks.  (He is now over 8000 miles away from me.)

I have also been working on my house trying to get rid of a lot of stuff.  I going to have a realtor come to our house in a couple of weeks.

So needless to say it's been busy here.

Twisted sister Challenge

 

This is my Challenge card for the Twister Sister Challenge At Split Coast Stampers. I didn't realize till I posted my card, That is what we were to post for July!

I think I am a bit late.  (smile)  It really doesn't matter there is NO deadline...Thank goodness.  Hopefully I will be able t make a card tomorrow for the August Challenge.

My card was made with stamps from Creative Stamping Magazine. I colored the images with copics and added some stickers to the card.

Yellow Flowers

 Hello Everyone,   Again It's been so long since I posted...

The flowers above were a present from my hubby...Pretty yellow roses...but I waited too long to take a photo of them...

The flowers inspired me to make a YELLOW card!  I have been having so much trouble trying to get myself back into making cards again.  So I was grateful for the inspiration.

The above card was fussy cute using  images that I cut out from a Debbie Moore Craft Magazine.

Hopefully, I can find the time to make some more cards.

Late Again

Sorry that has been so long since I posted.  I guess I don't have to tell anyone... That Time flies...

I made the above card for my granddaughter's birthday.  It's another 3D card.  It was  made using a 3D sheet made by Penny Wessenauer.

Another card made using a 3D sheet...  Right now we have some beautiful Blue Iris growing in our yard.

This Purple Azalea bush is no longer blooming in our yard...but I thought it was so pretty.  I wanted to get a picture of it

This is my favorite gardener in his raised garden bed.

Anniversary Card

 I made this card for my in-laws 4oth wedding Anniversary!

I realize I have used that 3-D flower bouquet many times...but it's a favorite of mine.  I was able to use it on cards for many different occasions.

Thank you card

 I made this quick card for my brother-in-law who  surprised me with an early birthday present.  

The image is from a Hunky dory magazine that I have.

I thought this so represented him he is an avid gardener!  He actually goes each year to almost every plant he has, and gathers up the seeds for the next year. 

I also wanted to make a quick card for the Twisted sister challenge at Split Coast stampers.  The theme for this month is "Anything" Garden"

 After I took the photo above.. I remembered that I had something that I wanted to add to this picture.

The Ceramic Easter Basket had been made by birth Mother.  Her name and date are on the bottom.  I almost forgot that I had it.  My half sister gave it to me after my birth mother passed away.

The card was made using Iris folding. I got the pattern for the card out of book I purchased a long time ago.  "460 Iris Folded Cards to make." by Maruschan Gaasenboek & Tina Beauvester.

Twisted Sister Challenge for MARCH

 I made these two cards for the twisted Sister Challenge at Split Coast Stampers for the March Challenge.

I just hope I got the challenge correct.. I understood it as I had to make my cards with the same materials. and make it a card that could be duplicated many times if you wanted to.

I don't think that is exactly what she said...but that is how I interpreted it.  As they say on the website there's no Challenge police.

Hope everyone is having a nice weekend...

Hubby and I just stayed inside today...didn't need to go anywhere, and I didn't feel like getting wet.  (And the way it was raining it may have been getting VERY wet!
