here is a closeup of her feathers, I used glitter spica pens.
I used Gina K Passionate Pink paper and my green I believe was SU. The buttons are from the Gina K, I believe called Spring Mix. My pattern paper is DeLovely by Cosmo Cricket.
Well fingers crossed! Hey you never know!

I used the Gina K pure luxury passionate pink cardstock and buttons by GKD. My pattern paper is by Stampin Up. I pieced it in Melanie's Inspiration Mosaic set.
Did you know there's a new club over at Stamp TV, we call it the "Ginaholics PLPS club"! :-) It's for all those Gina K Pure Luxury cardstock paper snobs out there! I am a self proclaimed Pure Luxury Paper Snob! If you have not tried the GKD paper yet you must! It's so super awesome, a very heavy weight cardstock that can't be beat.
Well that's all for now!

This is my submission and it's also the sketch for Friday Sketchers.
Well that's it for now!

I used the GKD set called Wishes and Dreams. This fun "fairy" set is manga drawn by Gina K's talented daughter Alicia! I love how sweet this set is. All my solids are GKD pure luxury cardstock, I used Kraft, Innocent Pink and Creme de Menthe.
I just received the Stamp TV kit called "Organize it" and I can't wait to get it inky. If you have never seen the kits I will share some photos and details of it in another post real soon! It's fabulous though!
That's it for now!

These images are from Asela's set called Fruitful Harvest. I love paper piecing the fruit in this set. Maybe I'm just lazy and I don't want to color, no.... I think it looks pretty neat with pattern paper though. A little different and snazzy. Anyhow, I used papers by Gina K from her Pure Luxury collection. The green is a new awesome color called Creme de Menthe, the pink is the new Pink Passion. And that pattern paper is digi paper by Gina K called 100% Sweet and it is designed by Rupa. This is part of a digi paper pack that Gina has in her freebie section at Stamp TV. So generous is that lady!
That's it for now!
Be sure you didn't miss my first post today with this week's challenge with Treehouse Stamps!

And the set bundled:
I used Gina K Pure Luxury Passionate Pink and Innocent Pink colors. I used Melanie's set A Year of Flowers and Carolyn' s set Warm Winter Wishes. My embossed backgrounds is using the heart cuttlebug embossing folder. And how did I get those big hearts you ask? I used my CRICUIT finally!! Woo Hoo!
That's it for now!

Here is a close up of the rose in the upper right. I stamped and colored a second one, cut it out and adhered on the card to pop up.
I used Gina K's Pure Luxury Cranberry Tart and Kraft card stock for this. Gotta love the Pure Luxury collection, the best weight paper there is. I have to admit I am not quite sure who makes the pattern papers I used, I believe Cosmo Cricket maybe. I end up with lots of scraps from all sorts of companies. I should make a resolution to come up with an organizing system for the scraps. Anyow, the colors worked wonderfully with the Gina K card stock.
That's it for now.
Happy New Year!
Till later...
I used Gina's set "Take Flight". Love love those butterflies! I stamped the butterfly once on white card stock and then again. I cut the second one out and adhered it to the top so the butterfly is "fluttering" and is popped out. My pattern paper is by DCWV.
That's it for now!

I painted the frame in a burgandy color leaving it looking slighty weathered. I used the corners of the stamp for the corners of my frame. I have to say I was not sure which way I wanted to go with the beige showing through. I didn't want to cut it all so I just went with the flow. Of course in person it looks a bit better. I used a gloss modge podge to seal it which gives it the shine.

I stamped the flower using Stazon ink in black. I did color it in using slick writer markers which I have found work great on tiles and with Stazon. Copic markers won't do too well with the Stazon ink since the alcohol in the markers will not like the solvent in the ink. Then I decided to pull out my trusty stickles! Yes I love that stuff, can't get enough of glitz and glam.
I used Christmas Red, Candy Cane and Lime Green. Of course you need patience with stickles because they take a long time to dry. I usually use mine at night and then let the piece stay overnight to dry. That works well for me since I am a night stamper anyhow.
Not too long ago Michael's had a super sale of the dollar bin items! For .40 how can I resist picking up a bunch of things hoping I will find use for them. One thing I found were these great little satin boxes perfect for holding a magnet!
Here is what it looks like inside:
I'm thinking this might make a great addition to my ETSY shop in the near future.
That's it for now!
