I want to aplogize to everyone for the lack of posts recently, and for the blandness of my posts. I also apologize for boring people with my running updates.
My first marathon is this coming Sunday, and therefore it is all I can think about. My stomach has been in a ball of knots since last week. My sleep has been un-even, uncomfortable, and somewhat more tiring.
I told my brother-in-law last night that this has been one of the weirdest emotional journeys I have ever been on. It is weird what your body goes through, and therefore what thoughts pass through your mind. I have learned a lot about myself through all the training, and have had a lot of time to think and pray on my long 20-plus mile runs.
Thanks for sticking with me, and post-Sunday I hope to be back to normal.

I'm glad to see an update,Liz. I was becoming concerned that you were just running yourself ragged. (ha ha). I've been praying that you have fleet feet and patience with yourself on Sunday. You've been training for so long. Enjoy the race on Sunday. You will do well. Love you. JODI
Jodi, Thanks for leaving a comment. I miss you guys and can't wait to see you at Thanksgiving!!! Love you!
Running posts aren't necessarily all that boring - it helps to know others are still muddling through.
You will do great on Sunday - I promise that the treadmill/rain workout you did without thousands of screaming fans showed more than enough mental and physical commitment than the race will need. Won't be easy, but it will happen.
Thanks Jank! Your running posts have been extremely helpful and instrumental in getting me through all of this.
Good luck, Liz!!! You will do great. Drink your water this week and get your sleep. Oh! Don't forget your pasta dinner! And put your bib on your shirt the night before and stuff the chip in your shoes so you don't forget them! And smile! And...and...don't worry!
Good luck! :)
All the very best on Sunday! Have a great race and enjoy it, above all!
We'd wish you luck tomorrow, but you don't need it. You have done everything necessary to ensure your success. All that is left is to just go do it, and you will. Next time we talk, you will have completed this challenge and will probably be planning the next challenge. We love you.
