Hi everyone,
slowly days are getting colder, or actually I should say, nights, because in the daytime when the sun is shining it is still very warm. Some mornings I already saw the moist spiderwebs at several places, so it is really becoming Autumn.

Here in our home I changed something again (of course!). The (fake)fireplace moved to the front of the house, so now we can see it when we sit on the bench.
Nice with some candles on it..at night!

Here in the corner, I made an old "firebucket" myself, because I am serching for a real old one for some time, but didnt find it yet...

Also this old chair got a new "dress", from an old flour sack.

I really like the new corner in our home!

Light and dark

Hey ladies, enjoying the sun today??? At least here it is cold and sunny.

When the evenings are dark and cold, in autumn and winter, I also want to add some dark colours
into the house. When we got our chaise longue it had a dark grey cover, so I put on the dark cover I had for
our sofa also. And with a few dark or black items you have an other style already. Buth there are enough light and white things in  our living-room. See for yourself...

This idea I saw on Jade´s blog whit and shabby, and I liked it so much that I copied it, I hope you don´t mind Jade.

The olive-tree went inside.

And with the interior goes the food, so light and dark cupcakes...

Inbetween

Soms warm en zonnig, dan weer koud en nat....we zitten echt tussen zomer en herfst in!
Je merkt het ook aan de natuur; sommige bladeren kleuren al rood of geel....

Manchmal warm und sonnig, dann wieder mal kalt und nass....wir sitzen zwichen dem letzten Rest Sommer und den Anfang vom Herbst.
Mann merkt es auch in der Natur; manche Blätter färben sich schon rot oder gelb...

than a summers wave good bye.

Op de rommelmarkt n mooi gewei kunnen kopen, waar je ook mooi mee kunt dekoreren.

Auf dem Flohmarkt ein schönes Geweih gekauft, womit man auch schön dekorieren kann.

Ook op diezelfde rommelmarkt een mini klapstoeltje en een grote zinken kan gekocht.

Auf demselben Flohmarkt auch noch ein Mini-klapsühlchen u. eine grosse Zinkkanne gekauft.

En binnen is er ook al n beetje herfst...

Auch drinnen ist es schon ein bisschen herbstlich.

En al wat nieuw leesvoer voor de lange avonden aangeschaft...

Und schon ein neues Buch gekauft, für die langen Abende...

Herfst herinnert me altijd aan onze vakantie in Scotland in 1991,

wat n prachtig land!

Herbst erinnert mich immer an unseren Urlaub in Scotland in 1991,

was für ein wundeschönes Land!
