Eric the Unready (MS-DOS)

A lavishly illustrated text adventure with a clever interface and an absolutely bonkers plot, Eric the Unready by Legend Entertainment was sadly one of the last major commercial interactive fiction releases. The 1993 game has aged very well indeed though, and remains funny, lovely to look at, and refreshingly challenging. It also comes in a lavish box you can grab a factory sealed copy of via this Eric the Unready (PC) eBay auction. Oh, and it's the fancy CD-ROM version you'll be bidding on.

Silpheed (MS-DOS)

Probably the most interesting game developed during Sierra's collaboration with legendary Japanese game developer/publisher Game Arts, Silpheed is a clever and technically impressive arcade offering that did quite a few new things with the shoot-'em-up formula. Happily, you can grab a copy of the game via this Silpheed (MS-DOS) eBay auction.

The PC version on offer comes complete in its original box, and everything seems to be in great condition. Oh, and by everything I do mean the 5.25" disks, the manual, the Sierra catalog, a flyer, the box itself, and even the warranty card.
