been quite some time since i last blogged ...
well had a busy period training and training and etc .. for my army half marathon and various field trainings, wtach a few movies during nights out with my pioneers.
and i'm happy tht i've completed my first half marathon in the timing of 1hrs 57mins - its a good run though legs wanting to give way upon 18km however manage to survive thru.
though i seems missing for period of time - i have not forgotten all my friends

the day was nice and warm to begin with ... was slightly late for youth winds practice though and as usual after band had lunch with the "older batch" clique - incuding baldwin who's back from uk after graduating few weeks back
chatted and shared memories of the past, after which we left for home and i went best denki look ard and got myself a speaker with sub woofer for my bunk in camp since it was at the price of $39 only ..waahhaa
by late noon i'm back home to rest and get ready for book in when out of the blue moon while watching variety show - loud bangs and trembling noises heard from kitchen and soon i saw my home's dryer tumble down from above the washing machine at the same time the washing machine tremble itself halfway out from its raised platform creating a mini flood from its water pipe

this gave my muim and mydself a fright ! for a moment i'm thinking is this some kind of earthquake ? thankfully its not and there were no injuries except for some minor damages to the tiles of the raised platform ...
will update the rest on a later date .. probably during my long off next week =D

almost a month since i last created hisory ? .. lol .. i'm being cold anyway since these days weather hasnt been very good - past few weeks busy in army as usual
shifting from camp to camp and had a outing with my pioneers on 30th april 2008. had buffet lunch at Kuishin-Bo located at Suntec - food there was good thou the variety have room for improvement, felt kind of paiseh to make a whole group of 13 people wait for me to finish enjoying my buffet spree lol. Don judge me by my size cos i can eat like a black hole! at the cost of $29.90 its worth it = rating of 3.8/5 given by me .. hahaa, next up watched Ironman - the storyline was well connected and i enjoyed it .. some surprises here and there as well as laughing moments.
And i have to admit tht its time for me to go for more bowling session ..i seriously getting worst in bowling. we decreased macdonald income at marina square by a small portion - simply by occup[ying the mac cafe's seats for at least a whole 3 hours ? chat over a wide range of topics and got to understand them more.
yesterday 9th may 2008 had formation's anniversary parade and it was a great experience for many of us .. in addition i received a good gift during parade .. having a rifle muzzle smack right to the back of my head after the march in, grateful tht he didnt whip my beret off my head with the muzzle. learnt quite a few stuff too and i probably have to admit tht i'm quite thick skinned at times.
went Tong Shui Cafe once again, however this time round its at the branch in Liang Seah Street instead of the branch at Changi Airport Terminal 2 which i went 3 times - had a great dinner gathering there yesterday. Food there was nice thou the atmosphere was rather on the noisy side as compared to the one at airport. i still prefer airport's atmosphere - quiet haha
today 10th may 2008 i'm up and early - elder sister's wedding ! wonder when i will get to carry baby again ? having one more baby calling uncle make me sounds old ?
wonder what will be served for tonight's dinner ? hope there's lobster !! i love lobster !!

had alumni band prac today .. was nice thou i reached late .. haha
after late lunch with the rest i went shopping at ikea and courts - shopping alone aint tht bad .. and i brought a new chair for my computer/writing desk haha cushioned seat with backrest as compared to my prevvious chair its so much more comfortable .. together with another two other miscellaneous items i spent a total of $62.90 .. considered reasonable and i'm satisfied except tht i still cant find any wardrobe tht catch my attention .. well i guess i shall leave it to next month - slowly revamping my cosy bedroom
its nice to sit down by the river and have a worthwhile chat with friend once in awhile =) the F&B outlet Xin Wang Cafe in cineleisure i can say tht it somehow acheived the desired atmosphere they wanted .. if u don like cramp and noisy cafe then tht outlet doesnt suit u .. haha but its nice

Gong Xi Fa Chai !!
went down to Chinatown on Lunar New Year's Eve - with my brother in law and my two sis. our timing were quite well planned reason was upon coming out from station it was only 5 mintues more to 0000hrs .. got ourselves a good enough spot at chinatown point to watch the lighting of firecrackers and fireworks - all i can say is its nice and shiok to experience it live at the scene instead of thru television ! =P though most of the time for firecrackers u could only see basically black smoke.
later on went strolling or rather squeezing ard chinatown festive street market .. at some junction there were ppl quarrelling and creating some scene which held up the alrdy jammed traffic = inconsiderate people and police cant seem to do anything =_= home sweet home at 0230hrs with my favourite snacks at least - Honey cookies and Love letters.
Chu Yi
slept till abt 1100hrs .. haha slacked abit till late noon at home then whole family went down to late grandparents house for gathering and bai nian to all relatives [miss my grandfater's culinary skills - where i feel so fortunate to be able to enjoy elaborate dinner].had lucky draw and i won consolation prize .. nvm abt the prize its the fun tht counts. I felt older and older year by year upon seeing my cousins who were once still small adorable kids having fun during festive seasons grown up and tunring into much bigger kids with problems of their own (i.e where to shop or movie to watch)
whereas cousin who are in early 20s to late 20s have a total problems of another category .. mine is wat am i going to do after NS ! had a great chat too .. and we agreed all changed pretty much within half a year
Chu Er
visited my granny and i miss her culinary skills especially the dishes she prepare during lunar new year though they are not elaborate but they are simply nice, followed by going over to my 4th uncle's place for dinner and gathering .. some of them went swimming as for me watched some of my cousin play sims and i have to admit they are adorable especially when they fight for their turn they can scream and literally scream haha ..
had pick a angbao from yingliu display and i picked the one with highest $$ - $18 and my nephew got $10, my sis got $2 =X wahaha, later on went over alvin bro' place to bai nian and slacked over at starbucks with sylbest joining us .. caught up with them awhile and realised i been losing contact with so much ppl since i entered army

Went to late grandparent's place for grandmother's death anniversary.. was supposed to wake up at 0830hrs but end up sleeping back and got woke up by my mum at 1000hrs i'm so turning into a pig. rush down in cab and help out etc .. late afternoon went over Bincent's place and caught up with gaming buddies and poly friends from his class .. all had changed and i almost couldnt recognise kion. as usual play ban luck and watched lion and dragon performances and later in the night went off with no loses in game to meet friends for supper and saw Yilong haha. I'm happy and contented this Lunar new year though programms were quite few and rot at home most of the time.
Chu Si
surprisingly i slept thru the day from 0530hrs till 1715hrs skipping lunch only to have it after i wake up and going for dinner at 2nd aunt's place in awhile's time .. i'm going to grow fat soon with so much of eating and no exercises after i shifted my training to sungei gedong
this time round i dint play mahjong ! and having 6 days of off from camp is quite good though at times felt bored.. alrights rant too much .. will place some pics here once i got hold of any from friends camera .. may everyone reap what they wished for in the coming year ahead. =D

went back ETI at Nee Soon Camp for Chinese New Year Run and received Ang Bao from my OC as well as get to see previous plt mates - booked out yesterday night with me fallen sick =_= ..
think i had overdose of medicine till i woke up much later than i'm supposed to be .. end up rushing down to my former sch - Changkat Changi Secondary to help out in band .
performed 2 pieces and it felt nice to be playing with buddies and friends again, they'll be going overseas trip in may and Epiphany III in june and most importantly setting up of Alumni Band !
