Iraq bomb, gun attacks kill 17

Yeah, Iraq is not going to be a peaceful place in 2012.

Muslims killing Muslims, that will be Iraq's theme for the new year.

Islam, the religion of "Oh, you don't support Al Qaida, and all other Islamic radicals...We are going to kill you now"

CBS news
Two separate attacks killed 17 people on Thursday in a northeastern Iraqi province that was once an al Qaeda stronghold, Iraqi officials said.
The marketplace car bombing and the assault on the home of an anti-al Qaeda militia leader came on the third day of a visit by U.S. Vice President Joe Biden, in advance of the withdrawal of American troops at the end of the year.

A parked car bomb exploded in the town of Khalis as morning shoppers were starting to arrive, killing 10 persons and wounding 22 others, two police officials said.

Syrian forces killed, tortured 256 children

It quoted one former soldier who said he decided to defect after witnessing an officer shoot a 2-year-old girl in Latakia, then claim he killed her so she wouldn't grow up to be a demonstrator.

How nice ! But this is Islam we are talking about, the worlds death cult.

yeah people will say that this is not true but yet, everyday I can find a story saying different; a suicide bombing here, a honor killing there, 256 kids murdered another time...

Islam is a Death Cult, Bashar al-ASSad is the latest reigning cult leader and he is no closer to being taken out than he was a few months ago.

Newsday
A U.N. investigation has concluded that Syrian forces committed crimes against humanity by killing and torturing hundreds of children, including a 2-year-old girl reportedly shot to death so she wouldn't grow up to be a demonstrator...

The report by a U.N. Human Rights Council panel found that at least 256 children were killed by government forces between mid-March and early November, some of them tortured to death.
"Torture was applied equally to adults and children," said the assessment, released in Geneva. "Numerous testimonies indicated that boys were subjected to sexual torture in places of detention in front of adult men."...

It quoted one former soldier who said he decided to defect after witnessing an officer shoot a 2-year-old girl in Latakia, then claim he killed her so she wouldn't grow up to be a demonstrator.
The list of alleged crimes committed by Syrian forces "include murder, torture, rape and other forms of sexual violence," said the panel's chairman, Paulo Sergio Pinheiro, a Brazilian professor. "We have a very solid body of evidence."

53 Gadahfi Goons Found dead in Hotel

So the rebels went into Sirte, captured some of Gadahfis people, tortured and killed them ! if they had anything to do with Gadahfi they probably deserved death.

But the one thing to point out here is that Muslims are a murderous bunch no matter what side you are on.

(CNN) -- The bodies of 53 people, believed to be supporters of ousted Libyan leader Moammar Gadhafi, has been found in a hotel that was under the control of anti-Gadhafi fighters, Human Rights Watch said Monday.

The rights group said it found the bodies clustered together at Hotel Mahari in Sirte on Sunday. About 20 residents were putting the bodies in body bags to prepare them for burial when Human Rights Watch found them.

"We found 53 decomposing bodies, apparently (Gadhafi) supporters, at an abandoned hotel in Sirte, and some had their hands bound behind their backs when they were shot," said Peter Bouckaert, emergencies director of Human Rights Watch.

"This requires the immediate attention of the Libyan authorities to investigate what happened and hold accountable those responsible."
Officials with the National Transitional Council, Libya's new leadership, were not immediately available for comment.

Biden Evokes Sexual, Violent Imagery Again

oh Joe, Lighten up a little bit will ya.

So dipshit says that if the jobs bill does not pass, then women will be raped all over the place and murders will rise everywhere, I'm so convinced.

File this under the fear mongering item #14(or so) reason to not re-elect Obama as president.

like passing the jobs bill will make the cops arrive in time to stop a rape, and like the woman being raped will have the time to make a 911 call to the police before she is raped?, and just before you are murdered just call the police they will come and stop that too !

Foxnews
Vice President Biden is stepping up his argument that rapes and murders could increase if Congress does not pass President Obama’s $447 billion jobs bill – evoking sexual and violent imagery in his sales pitch for the second time in a week.
Speaking to Philadelphia police officers Tuesday at the University of Pennsylvania, Biden slammed Republican critics who say the jobs bill is just “temporary,” underscoring measures aimed at maintaining police force levels.

“Let me tell you, it’s not temporary when that 9-1-1 call comes in and a woman’s being raped. If a cop shows up in time to prevent the rape, it’s not temporary to that woman,” Biden said with his voice rising. “It’s not temporary to the guy whose store is being held up and has a gun being pointed to his head if a cop shows up and he’s not killed. That’s not temporary to that store owner. Give me a break -- temporary.
“I wish these guys who thought it was temporary, I wish they had some notion what it’s like be on the other side of a gun or a 200-pound man standing over you telling you to submit,” he added. “Folks, it matters. It matters.”
Last Wednesday, Biden suggested during a speech in Flint, Mich., that rapes and murders could rise if the jobs bill failed to pass Congress.

Syrian Death Toll, 3000.

And still nothing will be done.

BBC
The United Nations has said the death toll in seven months of protests in Syria against the rule of President Bashar al-Assad has reached 3,000.

UN High Commissioner for Human Rights Navi Pillay said at least 187 children were among the dead and that 100 people had died in the past 10 days alone.

The UN also says hundreds of Syrians have been arrested.

Ms Pillay warned that Syria's "ruthless repression" threatened "full-blown civil war".

The government in Damascus blames armed "terrorist gangs" for the trouble, and says 1,100 members of the security forces have been killed.

Dozens killed in Syrian clashes

It has been a busy weekend in Islam, dozens of people were killed everywhere in Muslim countries.
So peaceful is this religion.

BBC
At least 31 people were killed across Syria in a series of shootings on Sunday, Syrian activists say.

The UK-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) they included 14 civilians and 17 security personnel.

Seven civilians died in the central city of Homs and the troops were killed in clashes with mutinous soldiers refusing to shoot on protesters, they said. There is no confirmation.

Nearly 3,000 people have died since the protests began in March, the UN says.

"It was like a war scene in Homs where blasts and sound bombs were heard all over town, with heavy machine-guns also being fired," a statement from the Local Coordination Committees (LCC), which organises protests on the ground, said.

Turkey gives Syria ultimatum to stop violence

Turkey to Syria,
"Stop it or we will no longer be friends"

pretty tough talk right there, I'm sure Syria will stop killing its people now !

Ynet
Turkey is not ruling out international intervention in Syria, if President Bashar Assad's regime continues its military crackdown against civilians, a senior official in Ankara told Turkey-based Hurriyet paper on Saturday.

The source said that Turkish President Abdullah Gul sent a letter to his Syrian counterpart through Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu, in which he delivered an ultimatum to Damascus, demanding to end all violence against protesters.

"Up until now, we've tried to convince the Western nations to give Assad more time to implement reforms. We were as friendly as we could be – we held joint cabinet meetings and canceled the need for visas," Hurriyet quoted the source as saying.

"But if the Syrian regime doesn't listen to our advice, as their friend and neighbor, and continues to shoot on its own people – we can no longer be Turkey's friend," he noted.

Mexico Arrests Trafficker Accused of 600 Killings

Good news for the mexican people , but how many more like him are out there?
600 people is just a fraction of the 45,000 killed in Mexico since this has all began !
To make a difference the Mexican military will have to do a little better.

Foxnews
Mexican police arrested the suspected leader of a brutal drug gang called "The Hand with Eyes" and he has confessed to helping carry out or ordering more than 600 murders, authorities said Thursday.

Oscar Osvaldo Garcia Montoya, 36, was arrested in an overnight raid on a presumed safe house on the outskirts of Mexico City, State of Mexico Attorney General Alfredo Castillo said at a news conference.

"The Hand with Eyes" is one of the groups blamed for bringing the drug violence typical of northern Mexico to Mexico City and its surrounding areas.

The organization is known for extreme violence, including decapitations. Many of its victims have been drug dealers and rivals killed as the group fought for control of drug sales in Mexico state, an area that includes many of the poor suburbs ringing the capital.

Castillo said Garcia is a deserter from the Mexican marines who worked as a bodyguard for major cartel figures including Edgar Valdez, aka "La Barbie," a top assassin for the Beltran Leyva cartel until he was arrested in 2010.

U.S. could call for al-Assad to step down

Oh, now its gonna get serious; the U.S. is talking to the U.N.(Useless Nitwits) about talking to Bashar Al-ASSad about stepping down!
This Should get some quick results, like more tanks and deaths!

Keep talking folks the Syrian people will keep dying while you try to figure things out between all of ya !

CNN
The international cries for Syria's government to end a bloody crackdown on civilians could intensify Wednesday as activist groups reported fresh onslaughts in several cities.

The United Nations Security Council is expected Wednesday to follow up on a statement last week that condemned the Syrian regime for attacks on peaceful protesters and called for both sides to end the violence.

Meanwhile, the United States is moving toward issuing an explicit call for Syrian President Bashar al-Assad to step down, U.S. government sources told CNN Tuesday.

The move is expected to be announced in coming days after U.S. officials consult with the United Nations Security Council, the sources said. They said the question of whether to call for al-Assad to step down has been under discussion over the past few weeks, the sources said.

While international leaders mull their next steps, heavy gunfire, explosions and tanks permeated the eastern city of Deir Ezzor on Wednesday, an activist group and a resident said.

News Mexico town's police force quits after attack

I would quit too, death is not worth a few pesos a day.

Associated press
CIUDAD JUAREZ, Mexico (AP) — An entire 20-man police force resigned in a northern Mexican town after a series of attacks that killed the police chief and five officers over the last three months, state officials said Thursday.

The officers' resignation Thursday left the 13,000 people of Ascension without local police services, Chihuahua state chief prosecutor Carlos Manuel Salas said. State and federal police have moved in to take over police work, he said.

The mass resignation appeared to be connected to a Tuesday attack by gunmen that killed three of the town's officers, Salas said.

But it wasn't the first deadly attack on the police department this year.

In mid-May, police chief Manuel Martinez, who had been in office just seven months, was gunned down with two other officers on a nearby highway. The three had been kidnapped a day before police found their bodies riddled with bullets in the back seat of a sedan.

Dozens die, thousands flee tank assault

Mexico homicides rose 23 percent in 2010

24,374 murders in Mexico last year according to the Somewhat official number, the number is probably higher; Mexico suffers from serious under reporting of incidents and how things really happen south of our border.

24,374 + 19,000 = 43,374, gee, that is a lot more than the 35,000 overall since 2006 that they keep saying, a safe bet to say well over 50,000 have been murdered in the 4 or 5 years of drug wars in Mexico.

I can't wait for the 2011 report.

Start making your vacation plans now.

El Paso Times
MEXICO CITY (AP) - The number of homicides in Mexico rose by nearly a quarter in 2010 compared to the year before as the drug war intensified across the country, Mexican statisticians said Thursday.

The National Institute of Statistics and Geography recorded 24,374 homicides over the course of last year, a 23 percent increase from 19,803 in 2009. Last year's figure represented 22 killings for every 100,000 residents in the country.

Many but not all of the homicides were committed by organized crime organizations, the institute told The Associated Press.

Violence has risen in many Mexican regions as a result of drug trafficking and other organized criminal activity. President Felipe Calderon's office has said that more than 15,000

According to the statistics institute, the U.S.-bordering state of Chihuahua saw the highest number of homicides with 4,747. Sinaloa, in northwestern Mexico, registered 2,505.

Iraq Deadlier Now Than a Year Ago

To expect a bunch of savages to be civil to each other let alone to a foreign military is beyond comprehension, and a mistake.

You can not change these peoples minds, we give them peace and stability and all they want is death and destruction of their fellow neighbors because they are a different religious sect or from a different town.

The Shiites do not like the Sunnis, the Sunnis do not like the Shiites, they both hate the Kurds the Kurds hate both of them.

This is a good reason to pull out of these Muslim countries immediately after our missions are complete, and let them continue to kill each other off.

It is the Islamic way.

Foxnews
BAGHDAD – Frequent bombings, assassinations and a resurgence in violence by Shiite militias have made Iraq more dangerous now than it was just a year ago, a U.S. government watchdog concludes in a report released Saturday.

The findings come during what U.S. Special Inspector General for Iraq Reconstruction Stuart W. Bowen Jr. called "a summer of uncertainty" in Baghdad over whether American forces will stay past a year-end withdrawal deadline and continue military aid for the unstable nation.

"Iraq remains an extraordinarily dangerous place to work," Bowen concluded in his 172-page quarterly report to Congress and the Obama administration on progress -- and setbacks -- in Iraq. "It is less safe, in my judgment, than 12 months ago."

The report cited the deaths of 15 U.S. soldiers in June, the bloodiest month for the U.S. military in Iraq in two years. Nearly all of them were killed in attacks by Shiite militias bent on forcing out American troops on schedule.

It also noted an increase in rockets launched against the heavily fortified Green Zone in Baghdad, where government offices and foreign embassies are located, as well as constant assassination attempts against Iraqi political leaders, security forces and judges.

Additionally, the report called the northeastern province of Diyala, which borders Iran and has an often volatile mix of Sunni and Shiite Muslims and Kurds among its residents, "very unstable" with frequent bombings that bring double-digit death tolls.

Norway's 21-Year Maximum Penalty Sparks Outcry After Terror Attacks That Killed 76

"People like that shouldn't be able to get out among normal people,"

"If he gets 21 years, how old will he be? 53! No, he's ruined too much to ever get out."

Correct, and this is why he should just be eliminated from the living.

Justice is harder and harder to find in the world, even in the U.S., things are way out of Balance. A killer should never be able to walk from his or Her Crime.

Foxnews
Friday's twin attacks in Norway that killed 76 people have sparked growing outcry at the country's penal code, under which even the man now accused in the mass killings would face a maximum penalty of only 21 years in prison if convicted.

If found guilty in the massacre and given that maximum sentence, Anders Behrin Breivik, 32, would serve roughly 100 days in prison per killing.

"So many innocent people have been killed that I think he doesn't have the right to live," Mari Kaugerud wrote on her Facebook group "Yes to the death penalty for Anders Behring Breivik," which already has 1,783 members, the AFP reports.

Dozens of similar groups have sprung up since Friday's killings, some calling for the death penalty, others for life in prison.

"People like that shouldn't be able to get out among normal people," a 31-year-old Iranian-born shopkeeper identified only as Mustafa told AFP. "If he gets 21 years, how old will he be? 53! No, he's ruined too much to ever get out."
