Sea Quest

We spent time together at Sea Quest. It was the first time we took the little boys. Alex was very excited about the Bengal Cats. Unfortunately, the other cats were sleeping.

It has been a few years since we have visited a zoo. It was a lot of fun and a lot of walking.

Sea Quest

We used our POGO pass to visit Sea Quest. We haven't been there since our membership was up. Sabrina was quite disappointed that the parakeets have been trained to only go to people who pay to feed them. They used to land on everybody, whether they had food or not. The worker placed the one  yellow on Sabrina and Alex's arm, but it wouldn't stay. The kids were surprised that the lady who ran the Gavel Club last year works there doing face painting and twisting balloons.

Company Family Day- Shark Reef

The company Frank works for has an annual Family Day every Summer. This year we went to the Shark Reef. They fed us lunch at the food court and held a raffle. We got POGO Passes, which allow us to to visit different attractions in our area, (bowling, laser tag, lion habitat, sea quest, museums...)!

Family Day with Frank's Coworkers

Every Summer Frank's work has a fun family day. This year we went to a Ossorio's for lunch. It was the kids' first time going to this kind of restaurant and they loved it. We were all highly entertained with the art, jokes, magic tricks, and of course the skill of our chef, Magic J.

Next we visited the Secret Garden, which we had never done. The animals were so beautiful!

It was very hot, so I am so very thankful for the lady who included water bottles for everyone in our gift bags. We certainly needed them.

We finished the day out by using the gift cards we received for ice cream and the Disney store at the mall across from the Secret Garden. We also browsed the Lego Store. Needless to say it was an absolutely wonderful day.

Sea Quest with Angel

We took our friends Angel, Angie, Angel, Angela, and Princess to Sea Quest. I really enjoy taking people somewhere for their first time. It is so much fun to see them react to things that are new to them.

Elexa and Audrey's Visit- Sea Quest

We were very glad that Elexa and Audrey were able to come visit us this Summer. We enjoyed a trip to Sea Quest, using our family membership.I love that one of the perks of having a membership is that guests of members are 50% off.

Sea Quest- With Nicole

Several of our friends also have a Sea Quest family membership so we meet there occasionally. Nicole met us at Sea Quest and we had a wonderful time.
It was my first time to use their playground. It was hot, but I was glad for the misters.

Sea Quest- Company Summer Party

Every year Frank's work has a Summer Party for families. This year it was at Sea Quest. We had a lot of fun. Sabrina won the raffle for a stuffed iguana and our family also won gift cards for Cheescake factory and a movie theater, (we gave away the one to the movies.) There was also a photo contest that we won and got another gift card for Macaroni Grill.
My hair is messed up in the picture because a lorikeet (bird) pooped on my head- it was so gross. I washed my hair as best I could in the sink and again when I got home. I also promised never to go into the lorikeets cage again.

Sea Quest

We met some very good friends at Sea Quest. The kids had as much fun with their friends as I did with mine.

Sea Quest

The kids and I used our membership to go to Sea Quest! This time I told them to choose one type of animal to observe and when we get home they will look them up and write a report about their observations and what they learn. We still have not done the research or the report. However, we did make observations and discussed them.

There were hardly any kids playing with the water. Alex and Sabrina got to do pretty much whatever they wanted with them. They worked together with a couple of other kids to experiment. It was very nice because usually there are too many kids to work together like that.

Alex chose to observe the Chocolate Chip Sea Stars. He noticed how they move, how they look, and that if you gently run your finger across their suction feet they close up like a zipper.

Sabrina chose to observe the Parakeets. She made note of the different colors. We also bought food for them so the kids got to observe their behavior. They were pretty greedy. They also like to chew on shoelaces.

Of course, we enjoyed the other animals like the lizards, rays, and the snake.
