HELLO=) im back from my wonderful Christmas break. another few more days before burying my head into projects again. im enjoying my break=) Christmas is over, but i had an enjoyable time=)
firstly, there was gingyman baking! but thanks to the salted butter, i guess the cookie was a little salty this year=X hahas this year had to make some alterations to the ingredients because the vanilla essence was a little too saturated. deon and I went over to phoon huat at toapayoh to get our ingredients and then we braved the rain to go over to his place to bake. so much love inside the cookies. made about 42 big gingymen for the youths and some friends=) gingymen process:
so cute right! hahas=) and i really like effiel alot=D she can blink her eyes to answer yes!
and then on Christmas eve, joined in the carenet celebration and krystal and gwen were there too=) so my crazy mei was taking the 1 to 20 shots thingy with krystal and got the rest of us to join in too=)

then it was Christmas day! this year, i got to dance with the rest of the kids and some of the youth=) it was an interesting experience because im usually really bad at dancing but i guess the ECH training made me good enough for kids dance=) hahas everyone did a great job really, the Christmas carols and all, so thankful for it all, especially, the birth of Christ that gave us 'Christmas' to celebrate=) and the musicians wore a bow-tie that day, so ADORABLE=D but was too busy distributing presents so i didnt manage a good shot of them

and then was the usual Christmas thing to go to my aunt's house for Christmas lunch. since we were planning to go out for dinner, deon followed me over.
after that we went jurongpoint to shop around and had dinner at ding tai feng=D hahs my first time trying there and i officialy announce that im a fan of ding tai feng now=D the xiaolongbao is like sooo much nicer than crystal jade's. and we can choose the appetiser! got my spinach which was delicious.
and deon was super satisfied with his beef.
and then on boxing day, we planned to catch avatar. but couldnt get any tics=( and because of something evil that he did, deon brought me to marche=D love the potato and mushroom thingy and the rosstie is really good too.
im getting a little spoilt (and fat) with all the nicenice food i ate in two days. hahas and mark was like telling me that everytime my blog talk about food that we eat haha! but yups, after marche, we went on board this boat Doulos, which is like a bookfair boat? HAHA what i understand is that it goes around the world and Singapore is the last stop before they decommission the boat.
while on board, we discovered that this boat is kinda used for evangelism also, to reach out to people all over the world. and from the fair, we bought several books. it was a worthwhile trip onto the boat=) yups. and then deon did something nice. hahas he said that he queued 45mins and bought tics for sherlock holmes, but when the movie started, i heard a chipmunkish "hello! we're back" that made me stunned before realising that he had surprised me successfully=) loves theodore=D hahas. and yups. thankyou HB=)
and yes, i watched four movies this week, alvin and the chipmunks, avatar, faith like potato and i forgot the other movie we watched in church today=) 3D specs are really cool, but they made my eyes itcy and dizzy
and a year is gone so fast, watch-night service this thursday.
in the new year, I wanna do more for You.
