weekends!

me has no common sense=(

yah, i always knew that i can be blur and accident-prone at times, and i have very little general knowledge and stuff, but i never thought that i have no common sense either. HAHA=) during OB-HRM tutorial today, we had to do this Review test about common sense questions on human behaviour test. SO either i have no common sense or im not a human, I scored 2 out of 10 points=.=

eeyer. i thought i had common sense=(

hahas=) and first week of school is gone. im more physically tired than mentally. and my brain just keeps screaming "NAFA NAFA NAFA". im so dead. LOL. havent ran since... okay i should stop procrasinating and start running.. next week? LOL. projects are coming in, i feel a little intimidated because they are not my "familiar stuffs" anymore. time to adapt.

my handphone is dying on me, it shuts down continuously and now it refuses to let me "accept" "cancel" and delete=( yucks. cant call and message properly. haha. my plan isnt up yet either, so im thinking if i should get a new phone and top up the $100, get a second-hand phone (which i dun really trust), or borrow a spare phone. hmm..

CN on wed was a time of food and fellowship=) mercy made her indian not-really-curry dish along with chepati and the crispy thing=) i loved them! hahas so much nicer that indian food outside=)

and then there were nuggets, and they ordered pizza=D clara made cheesecake too.

hahas i make a bad photographer because i always capture a few random shots and then i start eating and forgets about my photo-taking=D

and then it was ASTONS on thursday. i think ASTONS is much better than botak jones somehow. both has the two side dish thingy leaving you satisfied and full=) the steak is good too and it's reasonable price! $11+ i think=) there's a variation la depending on the type of steak=)

On a sideote, singapore redcross "international bazaar" is back! this year they really tried to gather a wide variation of countries to participate, contributing food stalls and selling items=) i personally feel that it would be fun!=)

It's this coming sunday 25th oct, 9am-6pm @ royal thai embassy which is in orchard=) do drop by if you're going town. All proceeds will be put to good use for such as Red Cross Home for the Disabled, Red Cross Blood Donor Recruitment Programme, Red Cross Non-Emergency Ambulance Service, Disaster Management etc=)

and now, im just looking forward to weekends!=D

school's in

school's back! school is just "school" loh. projects are piling already, first one due next wed=.= i'll be a good disciplined girl=) and God has just been so so wonderful.

was praying about the timetable and stuff, and just when i thought it was impossible, God made it possible! i mean.. after all the passed semester attempts to change timetable, never was it once possible! and just within two days, everything was nicely done=)
1. Sukuna said that the 1 hour (5-6pm) tutorial slot is a mistake! there's no tutorial on friday and instead, its on wed. so i end on 1pm on fridays=)
2. Due to the mistake, we end on 6pm instead of 4pm on wednesday, so i wont be stranded on wednesdays before CN and HOB in church=) instead, timing is just great=)
3. E-Learning week during Youth Camp! means i should be able to go Youth Camp afterall! PLUS i went to the chalet web and saw "ARANDA HAS GONE WIRELESS" WOo! so i can do my elearning while at camp! (though im still quite uncomfortable with camps=X )

and yesterday after first day of school, i rushed back for tuition before meeting deon for dinner=) wanted to go to the usual place, but we ended up finding a good thai restaurant along kiliney. they have a 28 dishes buffet at about $22=) tried to take some photos but some is blur. yups. they have this thai sauce thing which is really nice=)

their presentation is also very thai-ish and i personally feel that its really authentic thai food. even the way they displayed the dishes and rice.

they have many different kind of salad. but we ordered the mango one which is not bad

and this is why i love the place! they serve the clear thai tom yum soup! yups. this is the REAL tom yam soup. those chilli and orange one that you get outside is not real. because deon doesnt take this kinda soup, i had two servings yay!

the chicken wings are prob deon's fav because its boneless and it's skin are crispy=) yumyum=)

didnt really liked these two though.

thai chicken satay and the beef thingy. hahas. actually its kinda like cze char lea. and my other two favourites are the boild squid in the thai sauce and the veggie. the squid was spicy but really good with the rice.. and the veg is just delicious=D

ate much more but got distracted eating so i stopped taking photos=) yumyum. feeling hungry blogging about it again. hahas. was happy with the food and company ytd=)

yucks=( im still unhappy about the horrid timetable. told jess we (c02) should just give sukuna our puppy eyes and ask her to shift our lesson to the fri 1-2pm slot (which i think is her lunch time). can she sacrifice her lunchtime for us.. otherwise we have to wait FOUR hours for her one hour tutorial. we'll let her eat in our tutorial class *insert puppy eyes*

and sooo holidays is coming to an end. last few days was spent meaningfully=) i wonder when i'll have the luxury of time (and sleep) again. lol. so i'm gonna be back to my life of staying in library printing notes after school, falling asleep/mocha-ing in lectures, lugging my 2.35kg lappy around on long breaks days.

=) and you know, still there's so much to praise God for.

lol. yesterday in my state of blurness, i thought i lost my ATM card. well, i went to candy empire to get my sweets and a lil' treat to bribe someone. paid by NETS and then went off with mercy. and then when i got back to cck, i opened up my wallet to realise that my blue atm card was not in its compartment. OKAY, i didnt exactly panic, im not the panicky type.. but the first thing that came to mind was my mother=.= HAHA yah. when i was young, i was always losing things and its scary telling my mom. so i searched my wallet and bag, and called my friends hoping to get the candy empire phone num because i thought i left it with the cashier. i seriously only rmb about reciepts but i cant rmb if i took the card. so stranded and alone at the petrol station, i said a silent prayer that the card can be found. and guess what, i searced my wallet and i found it with my e-zlink card! i duno how it ended up there because i dont rmb putting it there. call me blurr(maybe) but still *hops around* thank God! =)

melly is a little sad=(
because she just realised that school starts on monday instead of tuesday! yups, i though monday was a public holiday because of deepavali, but NO=(( soo school starts in 4 days time. *screams* my lazy brains refuse to warm up.
AND there is NAFA this sem EWWWW=( plusplus they added an irritating one hour tutorial from 5-6pm on friday!!!! roars! i have 4,3,4hours break on wed,thurs,fri! double roarroar!

okay. enough whining. this hols hasnt been very productive, though experienced filled. the relief teaching every now and then, flyers distribution job, bazzar sales, volunteering for disaster relief, baking=) and i finally tried pool and playstation(although i really have retarded fingers!)=) hahas so with the end of this hols, i've added to my list and realised that i've experienced quite abit with part-time jobs. pushcart sales,retail, waitressing, surveyor, data collection, teaching, flyers distribution. it's good to be young=D LOL.

met up with ning and jiewei for dinner ytd. they so evil-ly tricked me that day. my darling haoning is still a loyal silent reader of my blog and i didnt know! HAHA bleah. but yups, we went for thai express! i've got my long-craved TOM YAM SOUP=D hahas. after that introduced them to a place that i really like. but was a little disappointed with the dessert that day=( and for convenience of my darling, i shall upload all the photos here.

anyways=) it was nice seeing them again! =)
OH and PRCL is back this year! and yes, before julie chases me with her chopper, sadly i wont be in the committee this year=( its the final semester, so i've gotta prioritise too ba. hahas=)

and then i went home to find a box of durian waiting for me=D instead of eating them by myself=) i decided to spread the love again! HAHA so i attempted to make durian cheesecake!=D technically its durian-cheesecake, because i didnt make it a durian puree but added the durian chunks in.

Julie was saying that the combination seems weird, but it tasted kinda fine. but my official guinea pig will only get to try tmr, so then i'll see how it is=) anw, even though i dont like cheese, i've taken a liking to make cheesecake because its sooo easy and you can make sooo many combinations! thanks to my shifu ana and yanling who taught me the inital recipe=)

OH and i just realised today that it was ana birthday yesterday. hmm i duno if ana reads my blog but anw, ANA HAPPY BIRTHDAY!=D age is a woman's secret so i wont tell everybody that you're one year older than me and you hit your twenties already!=D

and yups, gonna spend last few days of hols to its worth=) kushinbo on friday! yum!=D

i <3 my school

listening to my younger sister talk about her graduation, it made me realise that wow. it has been three years since graduation. i guess, while many people feel that secondary school is just another part and parcel of their life, the days in unity meant alot to me. with that, i digged out the old CDs of the yearly e-magazines that we had, until mr nathan left and we had a change of principal. haha=) watching the videos, i found myself smiling and laughing at the little memories that came back to mind.

1. the awkwardness of sitting through the video tapings of the class videos (i tied two pigtails hairstyle in sec one and my centre parting is just *faints*=.=)

2. the embarrassing lousy acting skills of mine in the redcross video where i pretended to be a casualty. HAHA and i rmb having a slight crush on the senior who carried me because i thought he was quite cool! ohmy=X

3. MARK SINGING Avril Lagvine's 'I'm with you' in the school carnival which WOW-ed everyone. =)))

4. NATIONAL DAY PARADE. lol. always the highlight of the year for uniformed groups. how all the UGs would go crazy on that day, screaming and dancing in our full-u.=)

5. school carnival! hahas=) towel puppies, second-hand items.

6. basketball matches=)

7. The banners that flood our corridoors.

8. COHORT PHOTO! hahas=) every year when mr nathan was still arnd, we had to take a cohort photo! sooo we had to queue up from the shortest in the cohort to the tallest. (and im not very short in the cohort okay! =D) HAHA and in sec three when jeremiah joined, he was the highlight! he was too tall (2.04m) so they made him stand a few rows lower so that he could fit into the frame.

how fun those school days were=) hearing marilyn share about how everything is like now, i personally feel that the school has lost the heritage that mr nathan created. and though we used to dread those "eagle-chicken" talk in the mornings, but im sure it impacted us somehow. His

ahh now im starting to miss mr nathan. yah=) i think im a loyal fan of his. I mean, how many principal actually listens to the student's voices? ankle socks, handphones. we wanted it and he trusted the students and gave it to us. how many principal goes back to sch on a weekend in singlet,shorts and slippers to water the school plants. and i rmb how he drove down to school late one night to open the gate for us after our dance performance. hahas=)

and that is why, unity back then, is not just like any other neighbourhood school la=)

productive rotting

many times, it still surprises me. and when i realised how much i'm loved, it makes me happy=)

BOO! and im blogging from HQ now=) yay! finally i found a way to access internet here. im doing the noon shift again for call centre, but the phone has only rang a few times=( from today onwards, redcross will be doing the collection for all the three different disasters, the philippines tropical storm, pandang earthquake and ketsana reflief. but surprisingly it isnt as hectic as it was the previous time. in fact, i was alone for duty last week and I was so bored i created a playmate to stare into space with me=)

okay the photo is kinda blur but its a snow penguin=D hahas because i was freezing in the room. my art isnt very good la=( so that explains it when i was telling the children today about the tortoise and the hare, and i drew a rabbit on the board and the children were laughing=( i mean, my main purpose was to get them to look at the expression of the rabbit in the book mahh i it looked like that

and the kids laughed. lol. and on a random note, i can draw prawns too=D

see, somemore got prawn legs. =D (from here, you can conclude how bored i am now. ) back to point, besides my penguin, i had

raisins and green tea!=) and im here again today, productively rotting=) on a sidenote, actually im quite sad about what is happening to all these asian countries. and that is partly why im volunteering here for the week, since i have no $ ability. but its kinda sad to realise that not many singaporeans are making donations. owells.

also, i finished my flyers job over the weekends. it was pure LOL. i had to wear this yellow apron and stand at the entrance of orchard Mrt stat distribute brochures. -.- to stand there for 3.5hrs is really brain damaging. lol. smiling and saying thankyou. but on saturday, we met ahbang, zhixiang and aaron who offered to help=) hahas so sweet of them la! LOL. but im slightly richer now=D hahas.

and after the job on saturday, went over to meet the rest of the units at dallas's place to celebrate his birthday. the rare ones like myself=P michelle, siulung, aaron went too=D so it was good finally meeting them after like what? 5 months? LOL and that siulung was saying that we should plan a gathering next year march. hahas but that would be when we would have graduated! siulung and aaron arrr please hurry up and pass ur driving!!=D

hahas=) and then sunday was sweet sunday again=) spending time in the house of God, and then island creamery! hope nic, doti and quek doesnt mind, but i took out the photos that we took the other time and they pasted there=) hahs i rather it be kept safely than it to land in some dustbin a few months later=P hahas. plussss it has our wishes inside=Dhahas its obvious who made what wish.. andddd i didnt wish mine! quek voluntarily wrote the wish for me. hahas and we were saying that wishes do come true! hahas at least doti got her icecream=D hahas.

two more weeks of hols. and i shall sign off with something gwen mei drew for me quite some time ago=)
