sang this in church today during worship=) this was one of the very first few "Christian" songs which i heard. Like what andrea shared during one of the youth sessions, and is now her msn nick, "scientific laws exist because of who He is". and i agree with her=) the awesome sight of the sunrises and sunsets, the water cycle that brings forth the rain, the exact timing and conditions so that a flower can bloom, these dont happen by chance. even before i was a Christian, i used to be amazed by how everything falls in place so perfectly. and these are all because God had so meticulously created and put into place for us. and this song reminds me of God's faithfulness. can you imagine what if one day the sun stops rising, when the water cycle cease to exist, when plants stop growing..how can we live? =) so yes, I'm so grateful that You're still in control and that Your love is always faithful=)
hahs=) im enjoying my break so far, having my rest but not my cash=( owells. im still keeping a look out for tuition assignments and temp jobs. so i've been back on watching drama, and attempting to arrange dates to meet up with people. okay. trying. met up with hazelnutty, and probably nic busmate and macy too for town this week=) probably planning "girls-night-out" with the usual bunch of girls next week=) i wanna meet up with yus, leonice, units,wilfred etc.. i seriously need to catch up with my friends, and i prefer catching up one-to-one usually. lol. my bad. i neglect my dear friends every school term=P
and sooo during CN last last wed and Youth last sat, we were asked to do something nice the next two weeks for someone or people to extent our love=) muahahas. so while on one hand I wanted to plan catch-up sessions, i thought it would be fun to bake!=) so deon and I baked!=) okay initially it was for the fun of it.. but we decided to bring the cupcakes to church=) its a good way to spread the love. hahas=) so yups. we bought all the ingredients

and then we followed the recipe. surprisingly deon was rather helpful lea=) hahas he does all the manual work like mixing and all i do is measure,sift,add eggs. and tadaa~

and into the oven!and the gloves were gigiantic on my tiny hands=.= my hands occupied like half the space in the gloves so deon did all the holding.

=) and then we waited=)cupcakes in oven!

made three batches in all cause it turned out to be quite yummy=) hahas and while we waited, (oh-oh=)) this deon is constantly having weird ways and ideas to make me laugh and i took them down! muahahs =)

and this one makes me laugh whenever i look at it=P my personal favourite muahaa=)

and we made a mess but yay! cupcakes were done!

and so while deon went over to meet gab to pass him the cupcakes for him and gwen, i found a companion in Eiffel=) she turned over and stare at me while i tried to tiptoe and stuff then she turned away and doesnt turn over again=(

but she's sooo cute la. i wished i could give her a hug when she was frightened by the thunder.. but im a lil' scared too. LOL! so i just stood at the door.. moral support k=) hahas so then cupcakes were brought over during music prac for those who were there. hope they enjoyed them=)
SO yups=) if you hasnt done anything nice for someone recently, do try to do something nice and spread the love=) it's fun!

part time job

and so, time and time again God remained the faithful one. Even when people around disappoint,when things look discouraging,when I'm weary, God is always there. At times when I took Him for granted, when I walked in my own ways, He was there and He is always in control. When i was faithless, God remained faithful. On hindsight, many things that happened that made me grew, people may call them learning experiences, but to me, those were the times when I needed comfort,and God didn't forsake me. =)

and SO its holidays and what I have been up to? =) i think some of the girls are gonna think that im crazy, but I took up a relief teaching job at PAP kindergarten! muahahas. why would I let myself in into such a job after two long months of attachment? I HAVE NO IDEA=.= one fine day i just decided to ask my dad if any of the PAP centres under him needed a teacher and *tadaa* i was contacted for relief teaching. LOL. owells, hopefully relief teaching means that i do not need to be at the centre EVERYDAY, because the last thing i need is to be stuck at another centre for 2months before the last semester. baa..
looking on the bright side, at least i do not have to set up learning corners and to do up subject webs and lesson plans. I just go in and implement lessons with their lesson plans. it's a totally different experience in a way because i am taking different classes everyday, and I have never met any of the children before. so its very much of implementing there and then. but thankfully, attachment really helped me to gain confidence. the times where i had the whole K2 and N2 to myself.. now it's much easier to cope a full class on my own. being at the kindergarten though really made me miss my attachment kids and the daily routines.
hahas OHOHOH and how can i forget my very amusing experience of teaching CHINESE lessons today. seriously, the last time I spoke in full proper chinese sentences was back in higher chinese class. so when i had to relief a chinese teacher today, i was pretty amused by myself=) it was hilarious (for myself), and the children were superrr amazed and well-behaved.. partly because... they thought that i was a Malay teacher who can speak chinese =.=super sadddd =(( but owells im used to "huh? how come you can speak chinese" and "you're a chinese? i thought you are a malay" and at least because the children were amused so i did not have problems with classroom management.
and sooo i know that im supposed to be planning meet-ups but hahas okay i TRY k=) andandand=) im a very very blessed girl=)) i had my long awaited kushinbo last week as a reward from someone(^^) yay! im happy=)

im back! =D

and so! i've successfully MIA for a month=)attachment is finally over and with the last assignment submitted on friday, woohoo! holidays!=D the last assignmet was really tedious though, with so many things to compile, so many evaluations to do. and tadaa

my compiled report was a thick 80 pages. spent almost two hours in sch printing, sticking photos, compiling. so proud of myself *patpats* andand so attachment has really been memorable for me, God has really been gracious towards me through the entire period, and im really grateful for His faithfulness=) compared to Year 2,this attachment has been extremely enjoyable despite the tons of assignments and preparations. This time i got to experience taking over teachers and teaching in N2 and K2 classes, help in caregiving routines, and i practically know most of the children in the centre. sighh I'll really miss the children=( i'll miss swinging my feet on the bench in the playground supervising my K2s, playing in the sand with my toddlers, stepping into the room with all the Japanese children and seeing MS running to give me a hug and sit on my lap, the Jap children who always amuse me, miss my girls who wrote me cards and cried when i left on the last day. lol=) yeah. i sure miss them alot.
and now that everything is finally OVER, its time to have a good rest=) andandand to catch up with my long lost friends like units,yus,hazelnutty,and the girls=)

hasnt been out with them since a long while! andandand for surviving Year 3 Sem 1, let's have a celebration gathering for the usual bunch of girls (u noe who you are)! =D any suggestions where?
so after attachment was singapore redcross 60thanniversary. haoning and the seniors did a great job preparing for the community service sector. so sorry ning that i had to drop out of the committee halfway due to attachment. =X so i only went dwn on the actual day with yel to help out=) The children got to write birthday wishes for SRC and learn CPR. hahas.but i was at the well-wishes area.. and let the photos do the work=)children writing their wishes=)

=) it was also a day for me to finally see yel and haoning after such a long time=)

and then.. it was ndp ytd=) my parents went on their own, so i went with deon this year=) we got a seat right at the top so the view was pretty good too=)

so before the parade started we were looking into the fun pack and taking photos. hahas and this year "tattoo" thingy has this really cute merlion looking thing=D

hahas cute right=) i was quite fascinated by it=D and then...the parade started with red lions=) you can spot the tiny men in my photos

and then the display of the boats and stuffs=)

and there was this drummer in front of us which really amused me cause he was really funny with those drums

and the plane which i was a little disappointed because there were only 3 planes=( no fancy display this year=(

and i was amazed by the beautiful landscape and night view=)

so yups. its holiday now. baaa and i still need a job with flexible timing=( tuition job? hmm any lobangs? =D hahas in the meantime, i'll enjoy my well-deserved break=D
