today is the 29th FEB=)
special special day!

woke up voiceless
so when julie called, i couldnt answer her phone
hahas.. then she called my house
and i had to do handsign to my sister=)
i couldnt even say "hello" and "bye" to julie
=,( sorry girl.

went to see doctor
he gave me some "voice" medicine
hahas. he asked me "what did you do to your throat"
but i really have no idea leh.
lol.. but losing the voice..
for the first time i really understand how the mute may feel

went over unity to meet up with my juniors
then we went over to shu ying house to get the food and steamboat thing
thanks alot shuying and shuying's mother=D
then, we came over to my house
wash the veg fishballs meatballs crabmeats mushroom
chop meat fish
peel prawn
cook rice, soup

and then steamboat started with cheers!

and was too busy eating to take more photos=P
somehow, the soup and food turn out to be rather delicious
but there was so much to clear and wash=X


hahas=) maybe next time we can try outdoor cooking!

she wanted to climb this rope pyramid thing
and so the very outdoor person jolene climbed the thing effortlessly
while for me..
and i kena all the unglam shots and videos of me trying to conquer the ropes. LOL

and she actually climbed all the way to the top
while i took her victory photo

we wanted to play swing.. so we walked from this end of westcoast park

to this end

only to realised that we were reaching pasir panjang =D

so yah. we gave up finding the swing..
and sat at the busttop playing bubbles which jo brought

today was spent first at tuition
my tuition kiddy insisted that i draw seahorse and starfish for him
cus IT WAS PART OF HIS ENGLISH HOMEWORK
so it falls under my english tuition T.T
and he couldn't draw them andandand he had alot other homework to complete
so yah. i very nicely drew for him. when i said that i din noe how to draw a seahorse
(hoping i cld get away with it)
he gave me a sample=.= to copy
and tadaa..

last week

first week of freedom=)

went out with macy,julie and jolene
like FINALLY the four of us went out together
went ms clarity and haji lane
and the four of us finally took a neoprint

i finally watched PS I Love You.
it's kinda sad that many parts in the book were left out=(
i still like the book more=)
made me cry lk waterfall.

working ytd at this seminar thing was a truamatising experience
alright. it's an ENRICHING experience
waking up at 5am. being at suntec at 7am=.=zZ
my job is lk a nanny
looking after kids whose parent are in the seminar.
at first i tot it's no problem
after all the experience from attachment
BUT
halfway through round one
i wanted to die already.
the kids are SO SCARY so erm. hyperactive
the whole thing was like disorganised and not developmentally appropriate
i was practically constantly finding my lost sheeps children
or chasing after fighting kids and crying toddler.
or trying to satisfy a little princess.
lol.
at the end of the whole event.
my blood pressure is lk at it's max and i needed yoga lessons badly.
*Ohmmmmmmmmm* meditate=)
den i saw some stuffs that kinda pissed me off

went to church today=)
we actually danced during worship
so funny=D the guy from india taught us simple dancesteps to the song=)
so we all danced along.
the youth guys all went up to the front to dance alongside
it's really interesting looking at the whole church dancing and singing to some english plus hindi song=D

so yups. that was last week=)
nice occasional surprises like meeting jiafeng,wilfred,kangzhi, aaron choong

yesyes.. Unity redcross youth won FIRST in west district for national footdrill comp
AND we are national TOP 8

initially i was panicking last night cause i couldnt find my badges to lend my juniors.
lol.. when i finally found them.
they really brought back alot of memories..

and i found my ranks as well..
lol.. and my director award badge which was kinda funny
cus i got it in lk sec4? and i nvr got to wore it on my full-u

competition today.. LOL..
kinda lk.. all our efforts paid off yah?
the trainings.. the camp..
although we only managed to complete the whole fancy drill lk two weeks ago=X
but it shows that all the efforts that were placed in the final two weeks really paid off=)
and yes..
UNIFORM INSPECTION which we seem to have scored very well on=D
hahhas..

i was SUPER SHOCKED when i heard the results.
considering the fact that west district has at least 9 schools
we were more or less aiming for a third in district
so when they announced that third was zhenghua,
it was like "oh no"
THEN. they announced that second was jurong..
which was the champion for west district for manymany years.
andand they did really well again this year..
so i was pretty shocked to realised that they did not get first..
and i was lk "wahh.. which school can beat jurong"
then they announced that the "champion for west district is squad..... 10, unity sec sch"
i just went *stunned* *SCREAM*
and all my juniors cried=)
happy tears.
hahas.. then my dear haoning's tks oso won champs for East district
so we were both SOOO HAPPYYY
congrats to TKS!=)
then came second shock when they annnouced the National top 8 out of the 34 squads
WE WERE IN!

then i thought i lost my eraser.
so i spent a 90cents to get a new one.
only to realised that the eraser has been in my pencil case all along.
OH how can i forget.
i thought 5 X 4 was 25=)
so i happily got 20 when i needed 21 goodie bags.

it never fails to amaze me everytime we have such family gatherings at my ah mah house. it's like practically 31 people in a three room flat.
