Congrats!

This will be another boring entry without photos, again!

Firstly, congratulations to the new parents, Fong & Faisal....their newborn Zane (Sorry Fong, dunno how to spell his second name) came after a delayed appearance! All 4kg and 'hardwork' was cherished after a cute baby boy (almost the size of my AIR2 at one month) was safely delivered. Congratulations once again! You got me worried when I didn't receive any reply from you...but alhamdulilah when I called the hospital, got your ward number, you were safe and sound :) More pain and pleasure than IM, isn't it?

Apologies if AIR2 was crying too much when Iwent to see you. That's what you get when the baby's colic/kembung/angin whatchamacallit! :) And the drama AIR1 kicked up after the bottle broke! *phaiseh* (embarassed)

Fong, when's the next addition coming? hehe enjoy motherhood and your 60-day-break! :)

Next up, congratulations to newlyweds Lokman and his wife Nadiah! Lovely outfit and wanted to take pics with you guys, but unfortunately, the lil' one wasn't too comfy in the heat and didn't make things easy. Didn't manage to stay too long and missed Faisal.

All the best to Lokman and Nadiah...it's your new walk of life and may you be blessed with mny children! :)

It came and went by so fast....but to some, it will be a memorable day...

Congrats Fong & Faisal on your big day...may both of you be blessed in your new journey in life. Many things have to be learned, compromised and adjusted. I'm so happy for the both of you that finally, united as one.

It was a mixed day for me....busy at work but managed to take off to witness Fong & Faisal's akad nikah in Masjid Negara.

However, the night didn't end too well as we were stuck in a jam for more than 1.5hrs in total. Darn!! Thank God AIR was in splendid mood...though he was almost dozing off when we reached the mosque, he happily played and sat through the whole ceremony without any fuss...slept through part of dinner but was rudely awaken by the blaring music on the loud speaker and couldn't go back to sleep again. And again, he wasn't fretful. Thank God.

I guess though it wasn't really a significant day to me, but 090909 did touch many people's heart....

opps...forgot to mention, it was also the day hubby realised that he's got a few summons which needs to be cleared up!! :P

Mid-morning Snack Anyone?

This is not a good sign....since yesterday, I noticed that I'm snacking (my so-called mid-morning snack la) because I'm bored and not because I'm hungry. Yeah, seriously. OK la, I was a tad hungry yesterday, and my mouth wanted to feel something sweet, so I ate that wafer. But today, after pasta for brekkie, I didn't even crave anything, but automatically bout 945am, I just had to open the drawer beside me and look for something. Oh no! Think since I'm down to my last 'snack', tomorrow I will have to prevent myself from doing this. This is NOT good!

Bored of surfing the net and doing some reading...hehe

Over the weekend, hubby received 3 wedding invitations from his friends, 3 consecutive weekends of eating, right after Christmas, through New Year, I'd say. Luckily they were all nearby, and not like last 2 weeks, those were far away....

And something just struck me - how come this year none of my friends got married huh? Erm, ok well, there was one in Penang and that was about few weeks back. Other than that, zilch! Not a good year? Or everyone still 'searching' and 'waiting'....

Speaking of which, it's really funny. This friend of mine la. He seems to be so aloof about it when I asked him about his wedding. I wonder why. Citing being busy perhaps is no excuse. We go back a long way, about 13 years I guess, since high school. He has along the way 'prospered' both physically and well, now emotionally la, now that he's happily married. Congratulations Logan & Pamela! May God bless both of you. (sorry la, it has taken me few weeks before I actually write bout it here - forgot la....:p)
