Decided to change it on a whim.

Well life has been hard. I need to kick my procrastination.

Plurk karma frozen, I quit Facebook games already, I don't even look at Twitter.

Then came Tumblr.

Tumblr made me go through 1.5k pages of various awesome tumblrs of other people in 2 days.

I'm so crazy about Tumblr I ordered a Tumblr tee shirt online and it should arrive in the next couple of weeks. CAN'T WAIT!

And, I tried working some other place, this time, its at this particular hotel. Its a weird feeling to be a stranger to a place again. The whole feel of the place is old... But yet can still function. The area I worked in that night was 6 small meeting rooms [partitioned normally] plus the corridor converted into one big area, and there placed 32 tables. There is no houseman, 2 staff is appointed housemen and have to do backroom stuff, which they were slow to react, NO CHINESE TEA LEH.

Then the dinner was putting the platter on the lazy suzanne on the table, except for soup, noodles and dessert have to portion and fish which have to cut and debone. Weird feeling to be table portioning, but I portioned slightly faster than some staff.

The dessert was my favourite orh-nee, or yam paste [with ginko nut!]

Chose to OT, 4 people OT, have to do finish everything, do like siao.

The stewarding likka cui, no racks to put glasses, glasses stack up, they don't care cox they have to clear the dirty dishes also. zz

Then next day was back at Ritz to do under housekeeping and clear the beds for breakout rooms. 4 high floors were taken up. Second time doing it already so okay okay.

School has been numbing, at least the experience of doing surveys along Orchard Road was sort of an eye opener.

Haiz, to NA, whoever you are, its not that I don't want to treat people the right way, I guess I have yet to learn to analyse different situations and act accordingly. I've been doing the wrong things at the wrong times and now I've been royally ignored.

Note to self: BUCK UP!

Jobless?

I think I will have more to juggle the coming term.

1) School - Thats like an understatement, but yea I've been neglecting it like how someone would smoke until he has stage 4 lung cancer, and then say WHY.

2) Work - Well work gonna be split into many many parts. Why? Cox I can see myself holding like 5 jobs at one go, but not working all in one day of course. For now, I supposedly have 2 jobs, one in Ritz Carlton as banquet, next as Mediacorp Staging [but they very very long long never call me liao haii]

Then I REALLY HOPE TO PASS THE CAMP THAT JASON INTRO cox that freelance thingy [I don't call it a job even though it potentially pays me] is soooooooooo FUN! I'm so gonna vulgarity GET IN!

Then if there's a second round of interviews for Resorts World Sentosa, [if Daniel informs me la] then voila, one more job! :D

Then if I'm confirmed to be teaching kids unicycling on friday afternoons, more stuffs!!

3) BA_COMM - Its my responsibility so I should do as much as I can. :D STAGEWERKS!! MAKE IT A SUCCESS!!

4) Unicycling - I've been really neglecting it. Damn. I have to cycle across Singapore someday, but not at the expense of my groin, so gotta train up.

See? So many things to do, so little time AND money. T.T

Friday:  

ISP is done. Work was..... zz  Wasted four freakin' hours to go to the 'HQ' of another company to listen to bullshit. Well at least not everything was bullshit, only one is not bullshit.

What he told us is: To be sadistic.  

I'll see how you interpret it. hahahah

Wasted my time and potential $ seriously. Opportunity cost not worth at all.

Saturday:

NDP was FUN!!!   Except for the dance moves which I totally suck at. Must practice more and coordinate my arms and legs. It does not feel like they're mine when trying to dance. -.-"

Saw my ex-colleague at WCP McD there, he's like manning the mini refreshment booth of water and biscuits for us. Yes, he's in the army. lol

Went for '十字路口' or food junction as they call it at Bedok Hawker there.. So suay we sat in front of that Laksa stall. -.-"  Stupid.

I don't know if he noticed me but his laksa [yes we bought it] was not hot [as in chilli hot] at all, as usual.

Our food all link back into a loop , Wenwei's idea.

After the food, [wah its seriously shiok.] went to Redhill with 3 of them [cox I have like alot of time till work] and then took bus to Queensway for work.

Work was good, the DVD made it less mundane.

Sunday:

Slept in till 10am.. Watched TV till 1pm and chionged for work.

Work, makan, Work, Home.

On the way home, as in after I alighted from 197, I have to walk the path down to the bus stop where I have to take another bus, I was walking uber fast..

Then suddenly, this woman in front of me, like 1m in front of me, suddenly stopped and turned back and almost screamed. She pointed to somewhere in front.

There it is:

In politically correct terms: A dark skinned foreigner is lying on the grass, motionless.

In laymen terms: A bangala is lying on the grass, motionless.

Basically the woman thought that its a dead person.

I don't know if I'm right - I didn't approach the guy - I just said that I think that guy was either sleeping or intoxicated and thus was lying on the grass motionless.

I think if he is indeed a dead person, I will be emotionless. DDD:

How often do you see a lone person lying on the grass, just beside the pavement, eyes closed and motionless?

My aunt is like at Japan now for 2 weeks filming some mediacorp variety show..

And when she gets back, I don't think I will get internet cox she's definitely busy editing for the show..

Gone case.

So I'll have to leech internet somewhere else. But then going out means needing money to makan which I don't really have.

Oh my salary you mean? Its going to repay debts and buying a backpack to relieve my aching shoulders and back.

I'm like too tall for my own good, even sweeping the floor gives me backaches.

Finding people to sell is hard. Somemore I need a small container to put my sample to let people try. Its uber effective I must say.

Stupid man, totally forgot I had work this sunday till yesterday when I went work and recalled. zz

If I don't have work I can go Pulau Ubin for the 1st time in my life and [uni]cycle the whole place, which JH and Shaun they all reckon it to be about 20km? lol

So wasted.

NDP's gonna kill off my MRT fares. I'm already negative 3 cents. zz

Oh well, I seriously hope, wish, pray that I can go get quarantined or something, whether I have the H1N1 or not I don't care. I just wanna be quarantined and be allowed to think and calm my mind and [hopefully] there's internet and I get to use it. I also wanna study there since there isn't much to do since if I'm quarantined I will be inside the house all day.

MOH! Come quarantine meeeeeee!!!!

Got my freakin' stock. Its really pressurizing. But I don't seem to show it, as usual. D:

Went Gary's house to slack and Nelson was there too. Rotted and used computer...

Talked to Yishan on msn yesterday.. Haha had so much to talk about lor. Even though we like long time never talk to each other..

Some results from a quiz in facebook makes me think thats its seriously true. But when Gary takes it and gets the same answer as me I was -.-"   'Sure bo?'   lol

Tuesday was Peiyun's birthday. Wished her but dunno why she replied via her younger brother's handphone lol.

Yesterday was Zhihao's birthday. Apparently a lot of peoples' birthday falls on the 14th of May. While preparing for presentation at Canteen 1, there's also a group of people celebrating birthday for their friend.

Luckily I didn't look that nervous during presentation. D:

But other than some glitch, the teacher was happy with our presentation! :D

This couldn't be possible without you all.

Expected to starve till 10pm at night, so with my $3 for lunch and dinner, I went co-op and bought a snickers bar and one packet of soy milk. Went bus stop and saw HuiYock. lol

He said if wanna lunch or not, I said if you lend me some money lor. 

Yay, I got lunch! Won't starve anymore. He recommended a carrot cake stall that is really really good. :D

Went to work after that and saw Leanne, Renee and Darren near Anchorpoint. They went IKEA to have meatballs.. xD   I haven't tried them... Don't think I ever will. D:

Work was okay, dinner break at 4.30pm was cui. I had 95cents left. Not even enough to buy one bread ice cream from the hawker outside queensway. In the end bought some tidbits from inside queensway and ate at one of the benches inside Anchorpoint.

Saw my ISP classmate. Such a coincidence lor lol. His mum bought him a shirt...

After work, took 197 to cycle and carriage there and walk down to the church. Boarded 143 and saw Yulian and Daniel. Long time no meet already. Talked for that short bus trip.. :D

Home and rest.

Went to chill out and debrief then go play billiards with my groupmates - Matthew, Oliver and Boon Keat - for the 1st time in my life lol. Boon Keat was also playing billiards for the 1st time.

It was quite fun, and tyco on my part too.. xD

Then went work, it's still quite a new environment for me but at least not as blur as 1st day. Worked till 10pm, then went home...

Found out WTF means Way Too Fun. :D

Just back from work

Just back from work. Well tmr the Mediacorp's 45th anniversary gala at ch8 7-10pm has definitely loads of surprises and laughs, and of course the nostalgia.. xD

Now transferring pics from the cam into my com cox Gary wants it tmr to take pic of May’n, who took on the role of Sheryl Nome from Macross Frontier, which he is rather crazy about.. xD

Weekend at Work

Spent saturday at cityhall, for chingay or course!! Saw the glamour of that F1, and the whole parade... Am proud to be multi-tasking, being camera assistant (pulling of cables) and taking photos with the lumix camera at the same time... Took 200 over pix, will take some, or should i say long time to upload... so haii...

Sunday was as staging for a show called Rouge. Women talk show.. 1st ep and the audience (and us) got to eat cake! Host is Eunice Olsen, 1st ep oredy got MP com as guest le... pro sia... lazy to talk abt it cox really noth to talk abt it...
Jiayi and Jiaqi went filming for the show food mania.. went home with $500 worth of cash and vouchers.. They lost to a pair of male twins who're 1 year their junior.. Walked away with 2k worth of cash and vouchers

Work - at a florist.

Yup, i worked at the florist for the past 4 days.. From feb 11 to feb 14... Do what? The form says i'm employed as general worker, but is do what you are told lo... We were told to make products for... V Day. Made bouquets of 10 tulips, cost $80 (!) , bouquets of 3 lilies and 8 roses, cost $120 (!!) and another one is bouquets of 40 roses, 20red, 20pink. Wrist ache, cost of one is $170 (!!!).. and theres the 99 rose one, which i believe nobody ordered, costs $600+ (!!!!!)

Heex, I dunno wad happened, its upside-down.

The pink + red combination of flowers are wrong cox the centre pink (inside pink, outside white) roses ran out of stock.. So bobian gotta use shocking pink... D=

nine pink ones, selling at $99

we had to make 20 of these, the part which i dont like is the part where the bottom of the bouquet is a bag of water so that the roses can live.. usually is use cotton wool and put water, this idea made the bouquet heavy than normal... i dun think any gal would want to lug this around...

The End, A New Beginning

4 feb '08

Was my last day as part-time AP,they said in the morning that i dunnid to go for location shoot, so i was like surfin' the net aimlessly from 9am to 4+pm, then went to lunch... Looked for Darren in the TV theatre where he is staging for the CNY eve special programme on Ch8. Saw many artistes, like Shaun Chen, Julian Hee, Ben, Pornsak, Vivian Lai, Quan Yifong, Bryan Wong, Kym Ng, Nat Ho, Felicia Chin, Fann Wong.... Took picture with Felicia Chin (will upload when i have the chance).. Just an opinion of mine, another staging said that if Nat was gay, he wont be surprised, cox it is a well-known fact (or rumour?) that guys from the 'wen gong tuan' from the army are mostly er-hem, gays. AND, after listen to him talk in person, he DOES sound quite sissy.. Watched the preview of the show.. Then went home at arnd 11+pm...


5 Feb '08

Woke up at 11+am, then after i washed up, Ah Kiang (staging boss) called me to ask whether i want to work tonite, i was like "Ah?" + *clueless eyes*.. Then called Darren, he told me it was him who asked Ah Kiang to call me cox im out of job and he nids ppl, so i went lo...

Worked as staging for the NTUC show, which was the last ep.. Saw Chew Chor Meng and Vivian Lai, both the hosts.. And Fann Wong, Felicia Chin and Nat Ho, guests... They songs dat they sang will be the SAME for CNY eve oso... Sianz... the difference for Nat and Felicia is that Elvin Ng and Jessica Liu wil be in their song too... Huang Ching Biao was the chef for tonite, I went up to him and talked lo, cox he oso got do the Buzzing Cashier's 2nd ep, at least he recognise me.. He is one of S'pore's fiercest chefs but he does not bai any jia zi at all when we talk to him...

Then after work, went to TV theatre to watch the rehearsle of CNY eve programme, tonite is their full dress rehearsel... All artistes in their nice clothes... They really got LIVE rehearsle at Chinatown, but beacuse the roads have not been closed yet, the wide shots (taken across the road) were always obstructed by moving double-deck buses or the tops of taxis etc. So it was quite funny seeing that, but Bryan Wong, who is over there commented abt the buses in a humourous way, those of us watching the tv backstage were laughing lo... xD

2 staging who were at TV theatre for the rehearsle were slacking, i mean VERY slacking, ppl outside move stuff, they stand by the wall and watch the world go by, earning $ at the same time.....

Gonna call Felicia Chin, now Chen Feng Ling, but after midnite tmr will be Chen Jing Xuan.. Still uncomfortable... After a few weeks ba...

Went home, bathed and went to ShengSiong downstairs to buy tidbits... Ate some tidbits then went to sleep...

Today went to work to film the 2nd part of eps9 & 10, we went to the indonesian bbq(ep10) there first, it was quite easy to control the crowd but must use dialect to talk to some of the old folks... The judges just commented that the taste of the sauce were not inside the chicken.... So the chicken and the sauce are actually separate..

Then went to Tampines round market to save a stall selling BBQ stingray, 'hum' and prawn... At first i could not find the stall, then i saw some boards showing this BBQ stuff below a signboard:

Nice one. Then i found out that he sells prawn noodles in the morning, then afternoon, put on the BBQ signboard and sells BBQ stuff..... lol

then producer gotta shoot a 'link' and went to a colleague's home, cox its nearby and its raining, i stayed on location to help finish some shots, then its off to the bus to wait for the others to finish..
Then i slept till the loud voices of the producer and hosts shook me up, then went back to sleep till MCS.. hai, dam tired

For Gary, YingYing and ZhengNing, you all should know what i'm talking about..
It's the japanese food ep's 试吃大会.. It was quite difficult for cameramen to film there cox of the crowd, and a lunatic din make it better.... well.. according to Gary, the salmon was alright, but the fried chicken was tasteless and rice not sticky.. But some other ppl's comments were the rice were too wet....

But I think the tide changed for him wen his baby came out.. Our crew were already mesmerised by him, what abt 30 other ppl? I was doing sai kang all day and for the voting segment, the hawker got an AMAZING, UNBELIEVABLE, 28/30!!!!

i was holding two of the four banners and was like WTF when Gary voted for him and was (cant describe by any language man has invented) wen he got 28/30................................

lol, maybe im biased.. ok im biased.

but i dun wan him to win....... Haiz.. Life is surely unpredictable..

Then went to Amoy St Food Ctr for 试吃大会 oso.. Well, nothing much really, still sai kang, crowd ctrl, buy drinks, etc. Then for this one is special kind of voting: take the muffin= one vote, but luckily some ppl got liang xin, in the end she got 25/30.. Took some muffins (with permission of course!) and went back to MCS to blog this...

Dammit, he better get worse buisness and see him taking his signboard down.. Mua-hahahahahahahaha~~! Im bad... lol -.-
