A Trio of Challenge Cards...

Hi Everyone! Thanks so much for your lovely comments on my previous post. I'm aiming to do a blog hop once a week to catch up with everyone xx

So today I have 3 cards to share which I have made for various challenges. My first is for the Penny Black Saturday Challenge which has the theme of 'Starburst'...

This card looks quite simple but it really was a labour of love and I kept coming back to it and adding bits and bobs so that it tied in together...

My next card is for the Sketch Saturday Challenge who have a fab sketch to follow... I took inspiration from DT member Cazza's card and did an unconventional take on it...

Again I have used a Penny Black stamp... this was another labour of love... I guess I'm just rusty at the moment!!

And my final card is for a new challenge blog ran by my very best friend Arline which is called Christmas Crafting and it is a monthly challenge blog dedicated to Christmas!! Arline has some fabulous prizes for the first challenge which is 'A Christmas card with at least 1 flower' and she is also looking for some DT members for the challenge blog so why not take part?? So here is my card using a very cute Pollycraft penguin whose name is Dexter... isn't he adorable??

Turtles...

Hi Everyone!

Sorry for dropping off the face of the earth!! Here is a card I made before Christmas using some cute little Pollycraft turtles...

I'll be honest with you all... I haven't even opened my crafting drawers yet this year tut tut!! Everything is just manic at the mo... hoping for some crafting inspiration soon!!

Cherry Kisses - Lil Miss Attitude

Hi Everyone!

Well work is finished for another week and so I am wondering if I will be able to achieve the impossible (for me) and post a card everyday?? And as I'm all Christmassed out they will all be 'non Christmas' cards which will please a few of you!!

So today I share a card with you using this little feisty character from the Cherry Kisses range at Pollycraft and she is called 'Lil Miss Attitude'. Now if you ask me she is a sweetie really!!

I have used this amazing bright paper from We are Memory Keepers and a Penny Black sentiment stamp. She has been coloured with Promarkers and then shaded with colouring pencils.

Having been at work all weekend I have not had chance yet to do my exercise video but I have been good and eaten healthy... I'm even munching on a carrot stick as I type lol!!

Sonny Honeycloud - Poetry

Here's something a little bit different for this time of year... I'm sick of the cold so I thought I'd add a bit of heat to my blog with this amazing paper from Dovecraft (matches my blog he he!!) I have had a play with one of the new images from Pollycraft available as a clear stamp... she is called Poetry and I must say that I'm very fond of her glasses... reminds me of someone he he!!

So that's it for today (and probably the weekend as I'm back at work)... this weekend I'll be enjoying the X Factor final and trying to get back on track with my diet... had a terrible few days due to an attack of the munchies so trying to be good!! Today I received an exercise video through the post which I ordered off Amazon for £2.99... it's Camilla's from Strictly Come Dancing so it should be fun and will hopefully shift a bit of lard off my thighs lol! Anyway, enough rambling... enjoy your weekend!!

Pollycraft Challenge - A Glittery Christmas

Pollycraft Sneaky Peak... Introducing Sonny Honeycloud!!

Pollycraft Monday Challenge - Green, Purple and One other Colour!

Hey Everyone!!

Today sees a new challenge over at Pollycraft and this week Joey would like to see us using the colours Green and Purple and then picking another colour of our choice... well I just couldn't resist picking orage and making another Halloween card!! So here's what I created...

I have used this funky Pollycraft freebie image called Happy Haunting and teamed her up with Boo!! papers from The Creative Cottage. I did a bit of recycling and used the netting that the sweeties came in (which I used for the goody bags in previous post) was really chuffed with the freebie embellishment lol!!

Well, that's it for today... I hope you all have a great day... I am going shopping for prezzies for Dylan's birthday... he's 5 on Sunday and his interests are changing so rapidly that I've left buying prezzies til the last minute... so I'm off today to look for Ben 10 goodies!!

A Pollycraft Christmas Card and More Wedding Photos......

Hi Everyone!!

I've scheduled some cards for this week and there will also be a freebie all along the lines of Christmas!! I really enjoy making Christmas cards when the sun is shining he he!! Last week I had a big Christmas Crafting session and here is one of the cards I made using the gorgeous Kiki Gifts from Pollycraft and I thought I'd have a go at colouring her with my Lyra Aquacolours for a change from Pro Markers...

The paper is from the DoCrafts Percy and Penelope pad, Papermania Poinsettias and a Cuddly Buddly sentiment...

Wedding Weekend!!

Hi Everyone!! It's my friend's wedding on Sunday, I'll be bridesmaid, Dylan is Page Boy and Mr Becky is an Usher... we're all getting excited now and the rehearsal is tonight so we'll all know what we're doing hopefully by the end of the night!! I've just had my nails painted in preparation and bought some fake tan and bits and bobs for the bride (she likes little gifts!!)

This is a card which I made for The Pollycraft Monday Challenge when my computer died and so I never got to show it... I just nabbed the photo off the blog so I could post it here as it was apt to my post...

Anyway, have a great weekend and enjoy yourselves whatever you're up to!!

The Creative Cottage Challenge 19 - Touchy Feely

Hi Everyone!! It's time for another challenge at The Creative Cottage... we're now a fortnightly challenge so I hope you'll have time to enter our Touchy Feely challenge this time! We had an amazing response to our last challenge!! We'd love to see lots of texture on your cards this time and here is mine using The Creative Cottage 'Forest Friends' paper pack and a Pollycraft Froggy image...

My touchy feely elements are the ribbled card, the flower and ribbon and gems... I would have done real stitching if I was a whizz on the sewing machine but alas I just can't figure those machine's out!!

Pollycraft Monday Challenge - Bold and Bright...

Hi Everyone!! It's Pollycraft Monday Challenge time again and this week the challenge has been set by Emma and she has chosen the theme 'Bold and Bright'... I love brightly coloured cards so this was an easy one for me!! On my card I have used a Flo Digi image from Pollycraft and the papers and strawberry journaling spot from the freebie My Minds Eye paper pack from Cardmaking and Papercrafts this month...

It's all about Teddy Bears Today!!

Hi Everyone!! Thanks for all your lovely comments on my post last Thursday, I'm a bit behind with comments on my blog but I hope to be popping round to you all later!!

So today I have more exciting news!! I have been asked to be the Guest Designer at Just Cute Bears for July!! I would like to thank all the girls for having me!! Pollycraft New Releases, Creative Cottage Freebie and My Exciting News!!

Hi Everyone!! It's July 1st and it's all go for me today!!

Pollycraft Friday Freebie... It's a Mermaid!!

Hi Everyone!!

The Pollycraft Friday Freebie this week is this gorgeous little Mermaid... isn't she cute and as Gok always says "bang on trend" he he!! ...

The swirls were created by running the patterned paper through a Cuttlebug embossing folder and then running a drying up black ink pad over the top (I like to use Brilliance black ink)...

Last night I went with my friend for her Wedding Dress fitting (I had to be shown how to tie the back as that's my job on the day EEK!!) Anyway she looked beautiful in her dress... and I got my bridesmaid dress to try on which looked nice now I've got my wonder pants which are seamless and tummy pulling in as that dress holds no prisoners I can tell you he he!! Only trouble is I'm just too pale... I look like an uncooked chicken so going to fake tan before the big day... it's getting exciting now... only about 7 weeks EEK!!
