A Cozy Corner Overlooking Nature

In today’s fast-paced world, finding a quiet space where you can unwind, reflect, and find inspiration is more important than ever. I recently stumbled upon such a serene spot in a beautifully designed living room, and I couldn’t resist sharing it with you. The Setting This particular room is a haven of tranquility, with large, wooden-framed windows offering a stunning view of a lush, green backyard. The lawn is impeccably maintained, and the trees in the background add to the sense of calm. It’s the kind of space that instantly makes you take a deep breath and appreciate the beauty of the outdoors, even when you’re inside. The Table of Inspiration But what truly caught my eye was the glass table positioned perfectly in front of these windows. It’s not just any table—it’s a curated collection of creativity and inspiration. On this table, you’ll find a thoughtful selection of books, each with a distinct theme yet perfectly complementing the others. Books on Love: Among the stack, there are books that delve into the theme of love. Whether it’s the history of love, love stories, or philosophical musings on what it means to love and be loved, these books invite you to explore one of the most profound human emotions. Architecture and Design: Another set of books focuses on architecture and design, showcasing how creativity can shape the spaces we live in. These volumes are perfect for those looking to get lost in the world of structures, patterns, and innovative ideas that have shaped our cities and homes. Jewelry and Rings: The highlight of the collection, however, is a book on ring and jewelry designs. Titled The Designer's Guide to Gold, Diamond & Precious Stones Ring Designs, this book is a treasure trove of inspiration for anyone interested in the art of jewelry making. With about 195 exquisite ring designs, it’s not just a book but a gateway to the world of craftsmanship, beauty, and luxury. A Space for Reflection What I love most about this setting is how it combines the best of both worlds—nature and art. The view of the garden, with its vibrant greenery, serves as a natural backdrop, providing peace and quiet, while the books on the table invite you to engage your mind and spirit. It’s a reminder that inspiration can come from many sources. Whether you’re a lover of nature, an avid reader, a designer, or just someone who enjoys beautiful things, this corner offers something for everyone. It’s a space where you can sit down with a cup of tea, let your mind wander, and perhaps even spark your next great idea. Creating Your Own Space If this setup speaks to you, consider how you might create a similar space in your own home. Start with a comfortable, well-lit area with a view you love. Curate a selection of books or items that inspire you—whether they’re related to your passions or simply things you find beautiful. And most importantly, make it a space where you can relax and be yourself. In our busy lives, having such a space is invaluable. It’s where we can disconnect from the chaos and reconnect with ourselves. So, take a moment to find or create your own little corner of the world, and see what inspiration it brings into your life.

Diamond prices fall in 2014

Slowing demand in China, Banks tightening credit and low profit margins led to a decrease in diamond prices in 2014.

For example:
One carat laboratory-graded diamonds was down by 9 percent.

3-carat diamonds and 0.30-carat diamonds, both of which saw price drop of about 7 percent.

While India also is showing signs of improvement under Prime Minister Modi's government, Diamond dealers hope that trading activity will increase in the coming months.
