It's a small RCC world

One of the kids Geoff trains with signed with Ohio State's football program yesterday. Geoff is in the last section of the article. During the recruiting process Geoff went to OSU with the the player and got to meet Coach Daniels who is a RCC survivor. Geoff had contacted Daniels and told him he too had RCC. When they met Coach Daniels gave Geoff an orange RCC wristband and they shared Sutent stories. What an inspiration Coach Daniels is to all RCC survivors. Geoff & I are both Michigan State University graduates...just for the record :0)

HOPE through the years

In the past year and a half I have found renewed meaning and HOPE in the joy of the Christ Child's birth and His everlasting presense in our lives today and always. In 2006, pre-RCC, we were filled with HOPE that Juan Pedro would be able to come home from Guatemala in 2007....which he did! 2007 we were filled with HOPE that Geoff would be able to safely finish the clinical trial in 2008...which he did! 2008 we are filled with HOPE that Geoff will remain NED in 2009...which he WILL! Merry Christmas to all and best wishes of health, happiness, peace, love and joy.
