on Feb the 6th I enjoyed:

1 quart water
1 quart coconut water mixed with orange juice
3 cups greeeeeen juice mixed with pineapple juice
a few berries, piece of an AMAZING fig from the garden, a mango
3 cups greeeeeeeeen juice mixed with pineapple juice
shared "cornucopia" meal with friends: abundance of yummminess like cucumber salad, kale salad, spicy coco-mango soup, freshly made nut butters etc, followed by AMAZING carob-maca-lavander YUMballs :)
mug of reishi/shilajit/ormus tea
mug of horchata tea
1 cup water

LOVED these videos on Uncontacted Tribes of the world sent in by one reader, Peggy, recently. They are videos from the organisation "Survival", who work to protect the rights and land of indigenous tribes worldwide. There were two videos - HERE and HERE that caught my attention - I especially find it fascinating to see how the "untouched" tribe in Brazil is growing bananas, papayas and other foods around their huts - interesting that they too seem to have some low-impact "agriculture" going on to make their lives easier...check the videos out HERE and HERE.

on Feb the 7th I loved:

The Longevity Conference Experience :)

Recently I was very excited to access the playback recordings of David Wolfe's "Longevity Conference", held live in California in March this year with hundreds of people in attendance. Some of my favouritist raw/health-orientated beings presented at the conference, including Wolfie, Solla, Mike Adams, Dr. Mercola, Truth Calkins, Nadine Artemis, Ian Clark and Donna Gates, among others - what a stunning line-up :)

I've been watching the playback videos from the Conference this last week and I absolutely *love* them :))) It seems that pretty much the entire weekend of talks/workshops was captured on video and is available now for playback - sooooo much amazing informative entertainment :)

screen shot 2010-05-23 at 7.01.11 pm.pngSo far I've seen Solla making delicious raw Thai soup and face packs, Mike Adams singing some of his latest song and talking about community, Dr. Mercola answering questions on Vitamin D and fructose, Nadine Artemis sharing an outstanding outline of dental care for raw foodies, Wolfie being his entertaining self, discussing everything from DNA structure to grounding technology, Jason Wrobel giving the most amusing raw chili demo you'll probably ever see and much much more - live experiments, q&a panels, live blood analysis discussions, elixir making...there's SO much packed into this DVD package...

The DVD set just launched last week and can currently be purchased HERE - you get access to all the videos both online AND in physical DVD format, plus you also get a very generous line-up of 'bonuses' too, including three discs of the whole "Elixir Mastery Workshop" after the main conference in March, a downloadable digital sampler of recipes from raw chef Frank Giglio and a downloadable file on Joint Health from Wolfie himself...wow, what a collection ;)

You can get your hands on a copy of all this goodness HERE...and I do believe tickets are already available for the next Longevity Conference in September 2010 too - yeeeeeeee-HAH - I hope to be there this time round ;)

ENJOY :)

This gathering is truly a co–creation; no–one is specifically 'in charge' of organising events, transport, lodging, etc...there is no participation 'fee' involved and everyone is free to create, invite, participate and enjoy as inspiration guides them...the Vilcabamba area is an active wonderland of synchronistic flow, so step into the river and enjoy the journey...

We could enjoy hikes together in Vilcabamba, raw food talks, foraging walks, horse–back riding, yoga sessions, group meditations, hot/cold spring adventures, farm tours, parties, drum circles, food demos and whatever else we might feel inspired into...

We have created a new community website for this event, where you can connect with other people about travel, accommodation, learning Spanish, researching the Vilcabamba area, making suggestions for activities together and so on – you can join that site freely and connect with others, HERE: http://rawinecuador.ning.com.

Vilcabamba is blossoming into a little hub in the Andes of raw food orientated/yogic/conscious/eco–friendly, like–minded community. Well–known for the longevity of its residents, the region is traditionally home to an unusual number of centenarians, seemingly due to the outstanding soil/air/water quality in the area and the relaxed pace of life. Life in Vilcabamba is very simple and easy–going, with many people still riding around on horseback, children playing safely in the streets late into the evening and life centered around the simple town square.

Vilcabamba is remarkably fertile and the climate in the area is described as 'like spring all year round', with food growing in abundance and houses built without either heaters or air conditioning...rich greenery, stunning views and rainbows abound...

This world-gathering of raw food enthusiasts and superheroes is a one-time only event. We're sure that we'll be talking about it for the rest of our lives...

LOVE this story one reader, Antonia, sent me yesterday about Walter Breuning, who is apparently the oldest man in the USA , having just celebrated his 113th birthday on Monday :)

He attributes his health and longevity to eating only twice a day and small amounts – read his story HERE on USAToday. This is fun for us to see, as Mr. M and I have been reading/exploring a lot recently around 'temperance' – Mr. M just wrote a great little article on this subject in his last newsletter in fact, called 'How to Live Over 100 Years Old' – you can read that HERE if you'd love to...

Here's to systematic undereating and enhanced longevity ;)

on September the 23rd I adored:

    1 quart water

double shot of sprout juice and 3 cups greeeeeeeeen juice: celery, fennel, romaine, spinach, little carrot

bowl of energy soup with ½ a red bell pepper, followed by a little pistachio halva from Wilderness Poet

    1 quart water

2 cups goji juice with Marine Phytoplankton

2 apples with bee pollen and spirulina crunchies

    3 cups water

on September the 24th I was blissed with:

    1 quart water

2 cups greeeeeeeeen juice: celery, zucchini, spinach, romaine, ginger, lime

bowl of energy soup with 'pizza' flax crackers, followed by a sample of the lucuma vanilla crème from Vivapura

    1 quart water

2 cups goji juice with Marine Phytoplankton

2 apples with bee pollen and spirulina crunchies

    3 cups water

MMmmmmm, well, while we're on the subject of taking very little into the body, dear Ms. diva Dina from BellyBoxFitness.com has a very generous offer to extend to one of you lovelies out there, if it resonates for you.

Dina wants to GIVE AWAY a 3–week water fasting package at The Tanglewood Wellness Center in Panama (worth over $2000), to someone who really would love to heal a serious health challenge or is looking for radical shifts in their life.

The fast can be taken at any time – the center opens in rotations of a number of weeks 'on', then a number of weeks 'off' and you can take the three weeks whenever you like during the open sessions.

Now, I have never personally water–fasted and would not choose to undertake something like this myself, however I wanted to pass this message on, in case any of you out there would love to accept Dina's offer. She has been to the Tanglewood Center quite a few times before and bought this package to go again, before realising her heart isn't quite in it anymore to water fast herself. She decided that instead she'd love to give this package away to someone else. Here's what she wrote:

"The only requirement is that I want to give it to someone who really really wants it, has really researched water fasting, has a serious illness, health challenge or is looking for massive radical change in their life and has the will power and dedication to maintain health afterward. This is a serious fast - more extreme than a juice fast and I want them prepared into what they will enter into. I would like to help them understand what not to do once they have demonstrated they are familiar with this knowledge."

If YOU would love to connect with Dina about her offer, you can contact her on: dina (at) bellyboxfitness.com before November 15th, explaining WHY you would love to undertake this kind of water fast; please include a contact phone number.

Bright blessings to you all – we love you :)

    All love,

    Ms. Sto–Mo. xxx
