Digital Portfolio - name card&resume design

TwT I know the fact that i really suck when it comes to designing something that relates to me... or creating titles for any projects, or blog post.... *cough* but I've finally designed something for this subject T___T I am... speechless.... so anyway... here it is...

I wonder if this is good enough T_T what if it got rejected?!! does this look like my style? does it??

*for the 2nd n 3rd card, there's suppose to be some "slogan"(?) from me on the blue paper on the wall... but i haven't yet think of a really good one...

OMG... I only got 1 design!! what if it got rejected???!!! =A= will think of 1 more later on... i really should start on the After Effect already!!!

Petrosains

so design method class did sort of an outing last week. we all went to Petrosains 8D my 1st time actually being inside that place. quite exited. and honestly was a bit thrilled with the 1st ride! xD it's like sitting in a roller coaster with a speed of a snail _-_ ;; *ahem*

the moment we went down from the "roller coaster" thing, we were greeted by a very friendly worker there. (mm... good 1st impression... nice nice) then there's all sorts of interactive interface there. even though it's all about petroleum, which is one of the least thing that would ever pop in my head, but nonetheless, it's quite interesting. you have to do things in order to watch the videos that are related to the mechanism that you have to "operate". nothing to fancy tho. so i just walk away.

I was immediately greeted by this petrosains volunteer guy, who explain about the transfer proses of electricity or something. 1 more friendly people...mmm good good. so anyway, i proceed with my journey (e cheh cheh cheh xD) .... actually I can't really remmeber almost half of the thing that i did there. somehow that place just lack the impact that'll make me jaw drop or something... hmm...

talking about the assignment that I got for this trip, i actually got "organic + interface". talking about the interfaces in Petrosains, I can only recall some and most of it are...err... i don't know how to say it. (see how un-impactful it is? =A= ;)

Basically, the way Petrosains used first hand experience on most of the interfaces, where people need to do something, in order to gain something is very good. I think 1 of the interesting part for me was the "space" part. I kind of like the one where i can actually communicate with others thru -sort of like- video conference xD and it can count heartbeats! O3O tho i think it's inaccurate u_u ; but hey~ i like the real life experience of a spaceship (?) interface 8D

one of the interaction here that i totally don't understand u_u ; and the interface is quite... hmm.... can be better... blur pic...sorry... i think model problem xD kehkeh

what else...?

mmm... oh! i played this one sort of like racing thing. where the player have to avoid hitting the cat. basically a simple game, and the interface is easy to understand. too easy in fact, i can play it with my eyes closed u_u ; aih... but somehow i can't see anybody playing it. maybe it's because of the placement of that "console"? they put it in an almost secluded corner =_=

i saw one thing which actually is quite interesting! its related to fossils. and you actually have to move this 1 layer of red colored screen to actually see the fossils! (ok...maybe its not THAT shocking.. but i like it! xD) maybe i could do that to 1 of my projects next time? something like... "find the Iffahs!!!" then move 1 layer of colored transparent paper to find me...=_= ok I'm babbling here... sorry...

so yeah... basically that's it... =_= ;; i'm not even sure what i typed. LOL!! anyways~ some pictures u_u;

actually it looks kind of gross... this thing is actually explaining on the "kemampatan ruang yang boleh" affect the movement of the liquid that is moving in between. LOL!

OH!!!!! AND 1 MORE!!!!! 8D came across this one at the end of the journey xD you actually just have to move this machinegun looking thing which actually shoots out digital paint. so you can shoot anywhere on the screen and random paint will create awesome patterns and colors~ 8D kinda like it too!

and i think it's a great idea for them to actually made it possible for people to email those artistic creation of them straight to their email!! xD I can't help myself from emailing the piece of work straight to my email xD hahahah!

well...

let me tell the good news 1st...

i'm done with 3D for Multimedia Design project 1 & 2 presentation today!! which is a very HUGE relief since we spent like the WHOLE night doing it like there's no tomorrow. and end up comparing on who got the biggest eye bags in the morning before going to school. We got pretty awesome feedbacks from the lecturer on our overall poster submission (1st project) where he told us we did a great job on it~ *applause*

xD but the fun thing was during presentation, everybody was laughing at the animatic (2nd project) that i did. wtf. well, it was ment to be funny anyway~ so yeah~ xD it was quite fun to do it too. so anyway, here is my poster...

modeled a character from Oda Eiichiro's One Piece manga. haha. my fav character among all. got a lot of kecacatan... but i just have to move on man u_u have to accept the fact that there other work to do other than this piece here.

RIGHT!!! let's move on!!! bad news, i'm getting even poorer than usual, good news, bought my 1st KLUE magazine ever and guess what, THERE'S A 1 PAGE PICTURE OF VERBAL from M-FLO INSIDE!!!! OH MY GOD!!!!!!!! and he is actually coming to Malaysia to perform with Teriyaki Boyz in Zouk KL this 1st of August. more bad news, can't enter the Zouk Heineken bar unless you're 21 years old and above and i am not 21 yet pfft,  heineken bar=alcohol=what if people spill the drink on me!!! WTF!!! OAO the horror!! and here's the BEST part, can only enter with an invitation BLOODY HELL!!

verbal in KLue magazine!!! OAO wtf!! i was so shocked and happy to see this!!! for the 1st time in my entire life i got to see him in a mag. 1 whole page somemore!! aaaa~~ thank god i bought the magazine!!

oh well, it's just not my day T_T at least Malaysia do know about m-flo rapper verbal. and their effort of bringing him in to malaysia is greatly appreciated!! (eventho i can't see him ;A;) which brings us to the unfairness of all this! WHY MUST HE PERFORM IN A PLACE WHERE ONLY A 21++ YEARS OLD PEOPLE CAN ENTER!? AND NEED INVITATION SOME MORE WTF!! don't they know that verbal got a LOT of hard-to-die fans out there?!!! (exhibit 1 *point to myself*) ISH!!!! so clever!! pfft.

other stuff that happened.... hmmm... none that i could rmmbr for now actually. you tend to forget stuff especially when u are ment to write it down 2 days ago... so yeah.

me and my video group mates had a very hectic day today!!! but it was kind of interesting actually. since this is my 1st time doing this kind of shoots. a bit hectic... yes... well yeah... that's it i think. for now. will try and update more later on lah. k~~

hair hair hair

my goodness... this week has been the most busy week i have ever had in my entire life!!! (so far...)

get a couple of hours of decent sleep, but it's not enough. There's this sorta big presentation tmrw, where people from the industry will come and have a listen. It's actually quite ridiculous when you think about it. Just because of this blardy competition, our life schedule has been altered almost completely!! less sleep, more brain tweeking, less sleep, and less sleep =_= i need a beauty sleep. I can almost sense my hair getting all limp and wiry, if that is even possible in the same time. (rambut dah keras semacam dah ni =_= ;)

tips to a healthy hair... well... the host punya body have to be healthy too! WHICH i doubt i have... not that I'm THAT healthy to begin with anyway =_=

feel like cutting my hair... and have bangs. but i wonder if it'll suit my face shape. (muka bulat seperti bulan purnama kehkehkeh) xD round face shape suits what type of hairstyle i wonder... certainly not bob style. My hair is too think and it'll get puffy everytime and even worst when I woke up from bed! O_O envying hanis zalikha for having awesome hair... cis. so i've decided to keep my hair longer. maybe I should trim it a bit... plus bangs~ ahaha! but i'll keep it pass my shoulder... i think.

on other notes... finally burned my motion graphic!!!! GOSH if i ever see motion graphic again... i'll get into a seizure. ugghh...

Typography Motion Graphic Design

so today I bloody forgot to bring my design frames to school u_u resulting only me didn't get my critique. very malu ORZ xD once again... this will be a great lesson to me for today~ aih... so here it is...

1st frame : decided to do something related to pixel art (no...it got nothing to do with that TOA event.. it's just coincidence) mostly focused on those pixel games.   

2nd frame : this one is all about stationery sets. brush, inks, colors, doodles, paper, etc... related to those tools 8D

 

3rd frame : was thinking of making some islamic design related. But got stuck whenever I think of how to relate and incorporate islamic elements on to the typography. so this on was the 1st idea I thought of, but the last to be done.

this is a very emo post btw...don't read if you don't want to... not worth wasting your time...

feeling of disappointment, shocked, sad, angry hit me all in 1 time. it is really excruciatingly painful. very very disappointed... very disappointed... i've never felt so, unappreciated in my entire life... the feeling is too overwhelming until i can't really hold it. it's very very painful.... my entire point of view has changed. as what Mr.Darcy said in Pride&Prejudice, "my good oppinion once lost, is lost forever". 

i'm not the type of person that will tell people how i really felt whenever I'm sad, or hurt. I don't want them to share that negative feeling. I laugh. I smile....I smile.... I just suck at expressing my other emotions other than happy... one of my friend asked me "you didn't cry ah when she(lecturer) rejected all your work?" and I said no, "woah...you so strong!" in a way...yes. but in reality, even the simplest thing can make me feel sad. things that people won't even notice. things that people take lightly of. Whenever I wanna tell a person that they hurt me, I will end up thinking "maybe they're just joking, or maybe... for them it's just a normal way to say things...or maybe..." maybe... so i ended up keeping it to myself. but sometimes, the emotion can't be cover up with fake expressions, thus lack of social interactions, lack of words usage, lost of appetites, and my whole body will be very very very exhausted. it's like, my body is trying to take a load of heavy burden and the feeling of lethargy came crashing like a huge ocean waves. I feel like spilling it all to someone, but everytime i will think of an excuse "aiya..later they say i so like to rant...and wat if they think it's troublesome?! nvm lah..." this is just like a coin bank... it keeps feeling up... and in the end, there's no more space. and what will happen by then? I couldn't help wondering.

I can type something so emo if i want to. but what for? there's no point of letting people feel bad just because you do...just that this time...i really feel very down and i just need to throw a piece of "coin" in a corner somewhere.

so yeah..i'm just too tired.

for sure i'll still be the same average loud ifa tomorrow...

on a second note!! had fun with my video group today! apart from all the near-death-humiliation part.... everything is fine! we might not be the best today (or maybe in the very final) but we tried! doesn't matter if we get low grades... as long as the experience and the time that we spent together is engraved in our memory and not to forget the knowledge & skill we learned, who cares about grades? A B C D E F ... life is not just about these alphabets. screw it.

yeah... I lack of sleep. I think i better get some shut eye b4 tmrw.

OMG!!!!!! FINALLY MY PHOTOGRAPHY's CONCEPT BEEN APPROVED!!!!!!!!!! There's even 6 pictures my lecturer pick for the final!!! I am soooo damn happy man!!!!!!!!!! ;A; no....more like.... RELIEVED... happy is a bit too.....yeaaa.... mm-hm.. omg... THANK GOD MAN!!!!!! Even my dear lecturer agrees on the "thank god" phrase xD she's really worried about my final lol!! ;A; thank you wei meng!!!!!

and today oso... for the 1st time in my life in TOA (well i think it was the 1st time), somebody said "kenot speak in Chinese la, Ifa can't understand" (well something like that) to me!!!!!! OMG!!!!!!!! ;A; I am soooo happy and touched!!!! Thanks man! ;3; (video tutor xD i....takut spell his name wrong LOL) I really appreciate it!

and I wore baju kurung today at school... everybody keep saying "why u wear so pretty today?" or "wah...baju kurung ah...why wear baju kurung?" well for god sake people!!!!! It's just like you asking Indians why are they wearing Saree!!!!! OAO Baju kurung is still part of my culture man!! so why is it weird? ......well...maybe because i dun really wear it THAT often xD so yeah... but it's so common man =_= i mean.... aih.... nvm.... same with me listening to chinese song!! i mean.... O_o I listen to japanese, korean, english, malay, hindustan, and even russian song!!!! so why is it any difference?!!!!!! =_= sometimes, i just can't understand how people think lol xD so oh well.... dun feel like wearing baju kurung d cis... will wear it once in a blue moon xD I wonder what will their reaction be like if i wear those singlet looking thingy to school.... now THAT'S the thing that shud be questioned. cross finger + pray hard

today is the day!! Having critic for photography later in the afternoon. After 3 times changing my concept and final is just around the corner, I really really really hope my concept will get approve this time *cross finger* well....... even if she said no oso, I think i'll still stick to this current concept. There's no more time for me to change my concept man. xD wish me luck!!!!!!

honestly, this is the 1st time I have this type of difficulties! I mean....oh god! 3 times change concept with the final just next week?!!!!!!! never happened before! OAO does that mean I'm degrading?! YES!!!!!!! i guess so!!! (i'm never THAT good anyway...so yeaaa....) xD

I love portraits T_T ....and hands (oh wth~~) xD RITE!!! Somehow yesterday I was playing with my dslr, and I found out something very cool! (well at least for me... xD) it's like...I was snapping picture at this quite dark corner, then there's a couple .. u noe, those lights that's inside the ceiling...thingy? round shape... orange color...sometimes white xD somehow when i snap picture, I leave my exposure at the very low (under exposed) and no flash... The background wil be dark, but the objest of the photoshoot stand out really well! O_O I was like.....OMG!! awesome!!!! OoO so there's this.... mysterious feeling to the picture..kinda thing? LOL!! but yeaa.... hmm...

i have nothing else to say about my photography assignment. Final submission is like... couple of weeks away, and here I am... redoing... TOTALLY DIFFERENT CONCEPT!!!! WTF!!!! I.AM.SO.DEAD!!!!!!!! ;A; homg.... god help me!!!!!!!!

so my concept now is hands. I love hands actually. It's pretty. So the main thing I wanna say in this topic of mine is the beauty of hands and the personality of the owner of the hands~ xD *cough* it's more like those "see and think" kinda thing...? I want the audience to create their own story out of the pictures that i took.

I think my main problem now is.... well... I just suck at taking pictures OTL and also lighting problems T_T I feel so guilty asking people to be my models... and then make a great crappy picture pula. aih sorrylah!!!!!! ;3; forgive me dear models!!!!!!!!

I love the way a relaxed hand looks like TwT it's just pretty.
