Festive Banners by Girlville

Girlville is making festive banners for different holidays and seasons. I purchased one for St. Patrick's Day and one for Spring/Easter. I got them in the mail the other day and they are so pretty. Her work is great. I'm so glad she is offering these items for sale. I hope she puts up an Etsy store soon.

Here is what I call her signature wrapping...so pretty.

The Spring/Easter festive banner. I wanted to show these banners and I put it on the china cabinet but I plan to hang this in my office/craft room where I can enjoy it every day.

This is the St. Pat's banner. It has little pom poms on the tips of the banners. So very cute.

Thank you Girlville for the fun banners. Be sure to e-mail her if you are interested in purchasing some of her banners.

Panama City day trip

Yesterday Aunt Sue and I went with mama and daddy about 90 miles to the east to Panama City Beach. They would take us on vacation there when we were little. I don't think Aunt Sue was born yet when we would go there on vacation. It had been 40 years since mama and daddy had been down there but they still recognized some of the places. It's nice to see some of the old beach cottages still standing. But there are a lot of highrises now, too. It was a beautiful day and I wanted to share some pictures.

We ate lunch at Schooners on the beach and it was a pretty view and you could walk right down to the beach but we didn't like what we ordered...I wonder if Page has been here and what she thinks of the food.

There was a parasail ride out back during lunch. I imagine it was pretty chilly up there in the air yesterday. I hope that person landed on the beach and not in the water because it was a bit cold.

Our lunch yesterday. Stirfry shrimp and was way too salty.

baytowne wharf

Does anyone have a big green egg grill or know if they are worth the money?

Last Thursday Aunt Sue and rode over to Destin and went to a place called The Village of Baytowne Wharf. It was a pretty day. This place is a gated community with different subdivisions and condos and this placed that is called Baytowne Wharf where there are quite a few restaurants and shops, a few golf courses. It would be the ultimate place to retire. I told the husband that we should retire down there and he said it was not in our budget! I guess we'll stay put right where we are. We have a few more years before we retire, though.

Here are a few pictures from what we saw the other day.
