Workshops on the Go (WOTG) are a fabulous item that Close to My Heart has created to help make your scrapbooking even quicker and easier while still giving it a personalized, creative and beautiful look. I compare WOTG with quilt kits, almost everything you need from start to finish is included. Close to My Heart's Workshop on the go include paper, embellishments, a stamp set and instructions. All you need are acrylic blocks, ink and paper trimmer to complete multiple layouts along with additional projects or cards. I completed the Footloose WOTG for August and love the summer feel it has. Here are two of the double page layouts I completed with the kit and will be completing two more double layouts this weekend after camping. We will be meeting August 16th at 6:00 to spend three hours creating 4 two page layouts. The cost is $38 and I will provide ink and extra paper needed to complete the layouts. Nothing says you care about someone more than a personal, handmade card. Whether you are sending them a card just because, birthday, thank you or sympathy, this workshop has the cards for you. On July 24th from 6:00-9:00 you can create as many cards as you can in this 3 hour period. Pizza dinner will also be provided. The cost of the workshop is $20 and all you have to bring is adhesive. Whether you are new to scrapbooking, behind on scrapbooking or want to create a scrapbook from your family vacation, this workshop is for you. Join me Friday June 1st from 6-11 pm to create 20 beautiful layouts. You choose your paper from the current Close to My Heart Idea Book and I do all the cutting and prepping for you. That night you will ink, embellish and put the layouts together. You will have use of my Cricut, inks and stamps. The workshop price of $60 includes all paper and a matching embellishment pack, plus any extra brads, buttons or ribbons you want to add to your pages. Between now and May 15th if you prepay for your workshop you will receive either the "Dotty For You" paper for free or a coordinating ink pad. You heard it right, a dots, stripes and flower Crop. Friday April 13th and Saturday 14th are time for you to get some "me" time and get some projects finished. Whether you scrapbook, make cards or make paper craft this crop is for you. We will crop for 12 hours on Friday, 10am to 10pm. Lunch and dinner is included along with snacks, prizes, use of my cricut, cuttlebug, sizzix, stamps and ink. Saturday we will be cropping from 9am to 5pm with breakfast and lunch included. Crafting for both days will only cost you $40. Can only join me Friday night for dinner and craft time the cost is $15. Can only join for one day, cost is $25. I hope you can join me Monday April 23rd for a scrapbooking workshop to take your techniques to a new level. We will work with flip flaps, hidden journaling, film strips, stamped backgrounds and more. We will use the Footloose, Pemberley and Dreamin' paper lines from Close to My Heart . This will be the best workshop of the year! Join me Saturday, November 12th from 5-10 pm for Christmas dinner and a fabulous night of crafting all for $30. I will provide all supplies to make the following: Set of mini cards with envelopes and holding box Chinese take-out box Pillow box DVD/Gift Card holder box Joy banner Altered paint can Gift bag Door hanger/gift holder 5x7 Christmas card Numerous Christmas gift tags Mini album (not pictured) You can create as many of these (altered paint can excluded, limit 1 per person) as you can in 5 hours. You will have a wide array of papers to choose from and can coordinate everything for one great gift or personalize each item for different individuals. Space is limited to 10 people so RSVP fast. If workshop fills up quickly I will schedule a second one on Saturday November 19th from 5-10pm, but will need a minimum of 5 people.
