It seems it's going to be....I like making cards so it's ok, but.....I received an order last week for 115 cards. That's a lot of cards! So over the next couple months, when I can, I'll update my blog with images of these cards. Till then, here are a few images of a custom card I created for a coworker, she gave it to her husband for Valentine's Day - ooh, Happy Valentine's Day, almost forgot. She had me print out a snappy little saying for the inside as well, something to the effect of "Despite your choice in football teams". She loved it. I'm sure at some point, it'll make its way into my Etsy shop, I struggle to create "guy" cards, and this one I think turned out pretty good.

Seasonal Winter Market
This past Saturday, I participated in the first ever Crosstown Seasonal Winter Market. It took place in a local midtown pizzeria, with eukele players and very yummy pizza. There were 11 of us set up, and while I don't think any of knew what to expect, it ended up being a good time. I set up on a round table, which was different than I normally do but I made it work. I had a little bit of everything, ended up selling cards and magnets. At the end of April we have the second Seasonal Market, so between now and then I'll be building up inventory - cards for Mother's Day, Father's Day, items like that.
Below is what one side of my set up looked like, the other photo is an image of the flower magnets I created, soon to be added to my Etsy shop - I love how they look all piled together.

Lovey cards
Last year I did not have time to do Valentine cards to put in my Etsy shop, this year so far (fingers crossed) I'm having some extra time. I sketched out what cards I wanted to do and have done all but one. I may work on that one this week or not, haven't decided yet for sure.
Since I've been on a roll with my elephant cards I did one for Valentine's Day.
.......................
I then moved on to flamingoes - my card with the single flamingo seems to be a favorite, so I thought people might like this one as well - it's actually not just for Valentine's Day.
.......................
I did floral Valentine cards - fringed flowers - those are pretty.
.......................
And lastly, monkey's - love monkey's. This was a update from a card I used to do with birthday balloons, switched those out for hearts and had him sitting down this time.
All can be found in my Etsy shop if interested!

Elephants
Happy New Year! Let's start the new year with a blog post - I know, it's been quite some time. 2015 was a busy year, between my graphic design and quilling and family. I don't think I slept enough. I did some quilling throughout the year, but it wasn't till fall when I had to really amp things up. I had a craft fair I participated in in November and a Holiday Market in December at our local Brooks Museum - both were a lot of fun, but that meant I needed lots of inventory. I was making snowflakes like crazy. On top of that, I did continue to work on custom orders. A popular request was for elephants - which I've never done before. I have a friend who requested a card, then a couple ornaments for her little tree. My coworker saw her card and asked if I could create a Christmas version for his daughter. I will definitely be using elephants in 2016, I like the way they turned out.

Beeline Bazaar
Last weekend a friend and I shared a booth at the Hutchinson School's Beeline Bazaar here in town. It's been some time since I participated in a craft fair so I was really looking forward to it. I had two months to build up my inventory and I ended up with lots of cards (which are now in my Etsy shop), new bowls, jewelry boxes, keychains, magnets and bee ornaments. Here are some images from my table set up - with each one I do I try something different.

Beach card custom orders
These are a couple beach themed cards I created last year, I've been wanting to post them but have been so so busy. I'm currently working on inventory for a bazaar I will be in at the end of the month and hope to post more soon once I can get caught up.
A coworker asked if I could create a birthday card for his aunt. Like I do for all custom orders, I asked if he could give me some ideas as to what his aunt liked. Based on that I started researching beach themes and found a card that I based my design on - I switched out and added other elements and just loved the way it turned out. Another coworker saw it and really liked it as well and asked if I could change it up a little bit and make it a birth announcement card for friend's of his from Florida that were having a baby girl. I substituted the adult hat and shoes for smaller versions and added a toy ducky. I love it too!

Keychain with Tiny Quilling
About 6 months ago I bought some of the clear fillable key chains, and really wanted to work with them; and of course it took me way too long to get to this project, and let me say; I plan on making more. I think it turned out too cute, and I love working with tiny quilling pieces.
The keychain is approximately 1 1/2" round.

3D Paper Doll in Blue and Yellow
With each new doll I make, I fall more in love with creating them. So now I'm just adding each new one to my collection, I don't think I can sell any of these - they're just too cute. I do plan on adding them as a custom order to my Etsy shop, but that may take another month or so. I'm still trying to figure out hair, that's the hardest part for me so far. And I need to try and make little boy's too, I think they might be a challenge as well.
This little cutie is wearing a blue and yellow polka dot dress and is carrying a matching purse. She fits in perfectly with the others.

Happy Spring!
I joined some wonderful friends yesterday for a 12 hour crop, we had so much fun and I actually worked and finished a couple projects. Here is my third paper doll - holding a blue bird in a nest. She stands about 3" tall, the bird is about a half inch wide - smallest 3D bird I've ever made, and I'll admit, he was a little tricky. I love everything about this little girl - her curly pig tails, her polka dot dress - which is actually tiny paper dots from a very small hole punch that I own. She's so springy in her bright colors, down to her striped socks and aqua shoes.

3D Quilled Little Girls
It's March already, I keep saying I need to update my blog and another week flies by. I actually took a small break from quilling, even shut my shop for a few weeks. I'm trying to find time to get back into it and wanted to try something new, 3D quilled people. I was on Pinterest and found a few quilling artists that I think are just awesome at 3D projects, very talented. Here are links to their websites.
And, here are images of the first two little girls I created. I really enjoyed working on these and plan on working on more soon. I also have plans to add some to my Etsy shop as well.

Children's Birthday Card Order Part 2
Here are the rest of the birthday cards, I wish the photo's weren't so grainy; I'm not sure what I did to my camera the night I took them. The customer received the cards and she really likes them all, thought they were fabulous and that the rainbow cards were her favorite's. Awesome.
