It is Freebie Friday - my favorite day of the week!!! Welcome! I am very pleased to see you  stopped by today! This is the quote that I am sharing with you today, I hope you like it and it inspires you in some way.

Antonella Free Thankful for every moment quote printable Thanksgiving Fall

I love the thought behind this quote and thought that it would be great to be able to use it on cards or even print some out to keep in my purse to inspire me.... In fact, that isn't a bad idea to laminate them and keep them in there so when I am having a bad day I can pull them out and remember everything is transitional and this too shall pass!  This is the framed version that I shared on Motivational Monday

Motivation Monday Thankful for Every Moment

Happy Fall! The weather is getting a bit cooler here and some of the trees started changing into their fall colors. I do love fall!

(sorry for the mixup, this was meant to be posted on Monday (yeah, you guessed that from the post title)... my fault, in order to schedule it, you have to "publish it" - sheepish grin)

I created this in two different colors, I chose the turquoise blue for myself because I love that color, and I like the way it pops off the brown, don't you? I recently made a quilled wedding invitation using browns and blues and that is what inspired these colors (I will share a picture of that project with you over the next few weeks).

The quote reads:
Thankful for every single moment that has passed and those yet to come!

So, after a long hiatus I return with this quote that I love. I framed it and it is now sitting on my mantle that is screaming for more fall and Halloween items... What does your mantle look like these days? Are you super on top of things and are already setup like my friend who started in August? Or are you like me, a bit overwhelmed with the new school year and thinking, hmmmm, I really need to do something about that? I'd love to hear your mantle story!

Thank You Card

Antonella's Thank you card
Thank You Card
It is always fun to let someone know you appreciate something they've done to help you out, don't you think? I enjoy having an opportunity to send a Thank You card to someone, because it usually means that they have gone out of their way to help me or my family.  When that happens there is a lot of love involved.

I love my paper, and I know you can understand! This card works because the paper is so pretty. I cut it to fit the front of the card and then got out my glitter to highlight that gorgeous flower, added a gem to complete the look. As you can see, I went a bit glittery on this card, I added it to my butterflies and the "Thank You" too.

For the inside, I cut out a border for the top of the card and cut around one of those pretty flowers and added my glitter to this one as well. I also used a Martha Stewart border punch.  I used my MelJen's image and Rainbow Echo Design's sentiment to complete the card.  I hope you like it!

Do you think that Thank You cards are a thing of the past? Do you still send them? When do you send them? Is it for your children's birthday gifts or perhaps you send them after opening your Christmas gifts? I'd love to hear from you.

Thank You to each of you! I wanted to extend my sincerest thanks to everyone for all your kind words and support.

I hope you have a wonderful day!

Thank You Card

Antonella Thank You card
Thank You Card!

I love making Thank You cards, don't you? I think the reason is because you get to share your joy with the person or persons who did something special for you. Win-win all around!

I love the paper, don't you? I had a happy little surprise when I punched the scallop out of paper that had circles on it... wasn't it neat that the circles look a little like hearts? I then colored this cute stamp with colored pencils and added sparkle with some stickles.  I punched a few Martha butterflies and added some bling, of course.

XEROX Supports the Troops

I wanted to share this with everyone and give you a chance to brighten someone's day by saying "Thanks".

Xerox has setup a special website called LetsSayThanks.com

What an awesome idea, you get to send a postcard to the troops for free. They have a bunch of Thank You cards that you can pick from. You pick the one that you like best and Xerox will print it and send it to a soldier that is currently serving in Iraq.

So come and do something nice and say Thanks. As my friend Sue who sent me the link wrote:
"How AMAZING it would be if we could get everyone we know to send one!!! It is FREE and it only takes a second. Wouldn't it be wonderful if the soldiers received a bunch of these? Whether you are for or against the war, our soldiers over there need to know that we support them."

After you have sent your card, take a look around the site. The really touching part for me was reading the "Messages from the Toops" it goes to show just how much this simple act means to them.

I hope you'll send a card!

Thank you!
Antonella :-)
