Below are photo albums from the Bellerose/Floral Park march that happened this Saturday.



You will notice that the signs protest the de Blasio administration, local politicians, Steven Banks and the DHS. There are none protesting against homeless children.



Joseph Concannon spoke first. It's obvious from his criticism of de Blasio's homeless policies that he must hate homeless children. (end sarcasm)



Mayor de Blasio must also think that State Senators Martins and Addabbo are child haters since they both attended the rally.





Funny how the Queens Machine stays silent about the mayor not only dumping shelters all over the borough, but unfairly framing one of their members and their constituents as people who want to see kids sleeping on the streets.

Gazette a bit confused about election results

From the Queens Gazette:

As for the election in the 23rd Council district, the voting in that election was confined to residents of Oakland Gardens, Queens Village, Fresh Meadows, Floral Park, New Hyde Park, Glen Oaks, Hollis Hills, Douglaston, Bayside, Little Neck, and Bellerose.

In the only election that might result in an upset, the race to fill the City Council vacancy in the 23rd district, the unofficial returns show candidates Barry Grodenchik (Democrat) and Rebecca Lynch (Working Families Party) are close, and it may take a full vote count to determine the winner. A third candidate in that race, Joseph Concannon (Republican) doesn’t figure in the full count.

Law-and-order candidate violates Sanitation code

"Here is a prime example of yet another ass-piring politico who wants your vote ladies and gentlemen.


Being around the political scene in northeast queens for some time now. I anticipated "the candidate had no idea, we have no control over our volunteers, we will remove them immediately" response. So I, along with a couple of my neighbors called the campaign office and were given that exact answer. The three of us, on different days no less.


Then we drove around the "St. Greg's" area, aka Bellerose.
Guess what we didn't find?
You guessed it!
Not one sign on any public space!

So why is it that Bayside - and as these photos illustrate - Whitestone, are being dumped on?

The first call went in on Tuesday. We were told they would be removed that day. The signs weren't removed until yesterday. What took so long?

I know, we could have taken the signs down ourselves. Then that would be yet another citizen cleaning up a politician's mess wouldn't it?"

GOP candidate is kinda nuts

"Hi Crappy,

It’s me again…..annoyed at a robocall I got from a Joe Concannon who apparently is running against Tony Avella for his state senate seat. The recording accused Mr. Avella of meeting with Muslim terrorists. I was incensed, knowing that this was very much a twisting of an incident that occurred last week when Mr. Avella, along with Letitia James, left a Muslim rally due to speakers full of hatred and venom.

I decided to call the Concannon people and actually got someone claiming to be Joe Concannon. I told him what the recording said, and he replied that Mr. Avella is sympathizing with and aiding terrorists. I got angry and asked him if everyone who was asked to be a Grand Marshal at an American Muslim rally is then aiding terrorists, without accusing Mr. Concannon of outright prejudice, which I think is the case. He was very insistent that Avella is aiding terrorists and didn’t listen to reason, and when I yelled at him and told him that Avella and Ms. James left the rally, he just told me what an angry person I was and I told him something like that I hope his campaign crashes and burns.

Somehow truth was twisted to suit a swiftboat type accusation by the Concannon people. I called Avella’s office and left a message briefly describing my encounter with this idiot Concannon. The call also said that the Queens GOP wants to return to true American values. I have no idea what that really means, but he’s as bad as those venom spouting haters at the rally that day.

Just so you know, Crappy! Concannon is stooping to very new lows with character assassination to get what will amount to very few votes!! I’m sick of these awful robo calls, they are invasive and intrusive. Someone should stop Concannon who believes his own lies.
