Tenant gets his property thrown out of his apartment in a tenement building owned by Barabara Corcoran and Alex Rodriguez while he was hospitalized with COVID

NBC New York

The absurd thing about this savagery is that the piano and turtle remained because the people they hired surely thought they were to heavy to move and a bunch of goons moving a turtle on the street would have easily got filmed and lots of play on social media. Of course Corcoran and ARod won't be charged for illegally evicting a tentant from his apartment during a pandemic. And looting his belongings.

Excavation causes undermining in Brooklyn

From Pardon Me for Asking:

Late last week, excavation work for a new single family building at number 467 Union Street caused severe structural cracks to the neighboring buildings at 463 and 465 Union Street. In response, NYC Department Of Buildings imposed a complete Stop Work Order for number 467 and served a Vacate Order to number 465.

Once featured as a House Of The Day on Brownstoner, the original building at 467 Union Street was marketed by Corcoran as a teardown. After some time on the market, it was eventually sold for $377,000 in March 2012 to Jill and John Bouratoglou, the husband and wife team behind Bouratoglou Architect, PC. Shortly afterwards, permits were filed with NYC Department Of Buildings for a four-story, one family house.

Work on the site began in early June 2012. Almost immediately, there was trouble.

Babs now singing a different tune

Barbara Corcoran's latest:
5 things to do before you hold an open house

Number 1 -

GREEN: Nothing makes a better first impression than pulling up to a home for sale that has one of the nicest yards on the block. Creating a beautiful yard is inexpensive, but it does require a bit of dirt under the fingernails. A green lawn that's just been mowed, with trimmed bushes and a pretty flower border or potted flowers on the porch, tells buyers the inside will be as neat and tidy as the outside.

This is quite a flip from her previous advice to "get a cement truck over there fast". Bravo, Ms. Corcoran.
