Eyes

Placing eyes, is one of the most difficult tasks in bearmaking in my opinion. Not the actual action of placing them, but choosing would be a better word.
I do this  last  in finishing  my bears.
Today I finished this blue bear and he was especially difficult. I think I TRIED ON EVERY EYE IN MY BOX. So when it is like this, mostly they end up with simple old shoe buttons. That always works :)

 I am working on a blythe doll for the first time. Very exiting :)
I opened her head to do spme carving, but don't know how to close it again.
I wish there was a very good book for this, because I can't find it.
So I can use some advice

Billie

Billie is a 7,5" teddy bear
made of hand dyed viscose, warm sand color
She has peach,pink hand painted glass eyes
her dress is wool
she has a wooden cut out toy poodle decoration on her dress
one vintage button on the back
her stuffing is heavy polyester fibre and grid to ad extra weight
She is fully jointed
she is aged and OOAK
