Quote of the Day

"It's almost 2015 and we're still teaching science in our public schools. How do we know science even exists? It's not in the Bible."

Sarah Palin, on Twitter.

The pure unintentional comedy of this tweet almost makes me want to follow Palin again on Twitter.

Correction: the tweet is from a parody Twitter account.

Phil Robertson Meets Sarah Palin

"We. Need. Moose-Cooking. Women. In the White House."

Phil Robertson, reality star on the requirements needed to be President.

Robertson was impressed with Robertson's cooking and inability to put together incoherent sentences together.

Robertson talked about God promising an after life. Palin then chimed in that she is "simlple-minded." No argument from me.

And for simple-minded people like me, that’s what I crave. That’s what I want to know. That’s what I’m supposed to know.
Robertson and Palin both want a government run by a Christian Right worldview. That will be interesting when Palin and Robertson have to deal with infrastructure or foreign policy. Robertson wants to start a second crusade in the Middle East with ISIS. Unsurprisingly, Robertson admits he was only a "C+ man" in school. I'm shocked.

Robertson comments about ISIS to Sean Hannity.

“I think you either have to convert them … or kill them. One or the other,” Robertson said.

Don't expect Robertson or Palin to lead the new Christian Right government. Both of them are hucksters trying to make a buck off of the gullible followers.

Republicans Run From Impeachment Talk

Via The Daily Signal: Republicans attending the Conversations with Conservatives conference run away from Sarah Palin's call for impeachment. Republicans hint that President Barack Obama should be impeached. The problem is midterm elections matter more than enforcing the law. These are the same Republicans who came Obama is not enforcing the the Affordable Care Act. Because Republicans just love the ACA so much. A true profile in courage.

Blast From the Past: Charlie Crist Hearts Sarah Palin

This is a laugh fest. I may have posted this before but it is worth posting again. Charlie Crist tells Larry KIng how intelligent and qualified Sarah Palin is to be Vice-President. This video has to be cringe inducing for the Crist campaign.

Hat tip to Leslie Wimes.

Sarah Palin Out Does Herself

I avoid blogging about Sarah Palin. However, this is so hysterical that I couldn't help myself. Palin states that if President Barack Obama raises the debt ceiling he should be impeached. Palin also wrote that Obama should be impeached if he doesn't raise the debt ceiling. Palin posted this comedy masterpiece on her Facebook page.

It’s time for the president to be honest with the American people for a change. Defaulting on our national debt is an impeachable offense, and any attempt by President Obama to unilaterally raise the debt limit without Congress is also an impeachable offense. A default would also be a shameful lack of leadership, just as mindlessly increasing our debt without trying to rein in spending is a betrayal of our children and grandchildren who will be stuck with the bill.

You can't argue with logic like that. Nor would you want to try.

I'm posting this under the blogging tag humor. There is no way I can take Sarah Palin seriously.

Nothing says policy wonk like giving a speech at CPAC wearing a hoodie and drinking a Big Gulp.

Sarah Palin Hypocrisy

Only former reality show star Sarah Palin would attack Washington elected officials of both parties as being reality stars.

“We don’t have leadership coming out of Washington. We have reality television.”

Are these the great rhetorical flourishes the reason CPAC booked Palin? It can't be for her drinking a Big Gulp onstage or wearing a hoodie.

Quote of the Day

"I like Governor Palin. I've met her. I know her. She - attractive candidate. But based on her background, she'd only been governor for, what, two years. I don't think she passed that test…of being ready to take over. And I think that was a mistake."

Dick Cheney, on why it was a mistake for John McCain to pick Sarah Palin as his running mate. >p>

Cheney has been advising the Romney campaign on who to pick as the VP candidate. I'm looking forward to the moment when Cheney recommends himself.

Quote of the Day II

"I thought she was the best qualified person. I thought she had the ability to excite our party, and the kind of person that I wanted to see succeed in the political arena. She was a very effective and successful governor [of Alaska]. Again, I look forward and not back."

John McCain, on why he chose Sarah Palin.

Quote of the Day

"Our sitting president was not vetted."

Sarah Palin, on Sean Hannity's show.

Sarah Palin might have forgotten about this little thing called the 2008 presidential election. I don't see how, considering she was John McCain's VP candidate. The media and blogosphere vetted all the candidates very thoroughly. I seem to remember Palin complaining about the media scrutiny. When people are asking to see Obama's birth certificate, I say he has been vetted.

Quote of the Day

"I think that comes down to who can articulate their ideas, their solutions best,” she said. “And in a campaign, the way that you articulate that is in a debate. And I’ve appreciated, again, Newt Gingrich’s, his style in debates, his thinking, his way of explaining what it is that he stands for. So I think that in a debate, Newt Gingrich would clobber Barack Obama."

Sarah Palin, explaining that New Gingrich would beat President Obama in a debate.

I know reality is big in Sarah Palin's world. But Mitt Romney hammered Gingrich in the last debate. No one has accused Romney of being a great debater. If Gingrich is going to bash poor people and sell his fantasy of a moon colony then Obama will have no problem. Palin is the last person who should be considered an expert on beating Obama. Palin was on a ticket that lost to Obama.

Most Pointless Online Feud Ever

Poor Erick Erickson. (Well, not really.) It seems Erickson and is site is getting attacked by die hard supporters of Sarah Palin.

To not bow at the throne of Sarah you get disowned. You get attacked. You have people drum up stories attacking your credibility. “Oh, Perry announced at his event, he must be bought and paid for,” etc. Ironically, some of the very people going after this site’s and my credibility — claiming we’re pressured to do things by higher ups at Eagle Publishing — are people who were on payrolls advocating for clients while refusing to disclose potential conflicts among other things. To add comedy to irony, it seems more and more apparent that some of those who attacked this site and me for holding editorial positions based on what our corporate parent dictates (a lie designed to undermine our lack of sufficiently pro Palin bona fides among other things) are themselves engaging in projection because it is they, not RedState nor me, who must tread carefully in who they attack because their livelihoods depend on it. It’s always the kooks who project their sins on others.

Erickson once advocated that Palin should run. The fact that Erickson thinks that Palin is qualified to be president should forever be pointed out as a reason not to take him seriously. Another matter is Erickson and Palin online supporters are fighting over someone who has no intention of running. These people are hysterical.

Sarah Palin Winning Like Charlie Sheen

Pay no attention to Karl Rove saying that Sarah Palin will run for President. A Dittman Research poll Palin's approval rating at 36 percent in her home state of Alaska. Palin's unfavorable rating is 61 percent. In a hysterical twist is Palin's arch-nemesis Lisa Murkowski has a godlike approval rating of 71 percent.

Winning!

Sarah Palin's Decision Next Week

I know from my Twitter conversations with Javier Manjarres that there are conservatives that want Sarah Palin to get into the presidential race. Robert Stacy McCain of the American Spectator reports that Palin will make her decision next week.

Vendors of campaign services who hope to work for Team Palin have been told that Palin, the 2008 GOP vice-presidential candidate, will decide soon one way or another on mounting a 2012 campaign.

Palin gave a snarky response to McCain's blog post on Twitter.

"Really? Hmm, guess they forgot to inform me what I'm 'expected to do' next week."

McCain updated his post and responded to Palin.

OK, fine, governor, but I was reporting what my source had been told. Has my source been misinformed?

Is Palin feuding with McCain and the American Spectator? I feel bad with McCain. He is just doing his job. As for Palin, what does she gain by dissing the ultra-conservative American Spectator on Twitter? Tina Dupuy described Palin as "America's full-time professional duelist."

Quote of the Day

Litbrit posted this hysterical comment on Facebook.

BREAKING. God is telling Sarah Palin to run for president *while at the same time* telling Michelle Bachmann to run. I have underestimated God, who clearly has a wicked sense of humour and is therefore British ;-)

It would be great if God got back with Palin and Bachmann after the election and told them, "Just fucking with you two."

Quote of the Day

"I know for a fact that Roger Ailes admires and respects Sarah Palin and thinks she is smart. He also believes many members of the left-wing media are extremely terrified and threatened by her. Despite a massive effort to destroy Sarah Palin, she is still on her feet and making a difference in the political world. As for the 'Republican close to Ailes' for which the incorrect Palin quote is attributed, when Roger figures out who that is, I guarantee you he or she will no longer be 'close to Ailes.'"

Bill Shine, Fox News' executive vice president.

Responding to a media story that Roger Ailes thinks that Sarah Palin is stupid.

Contrary to what Shine wants people to believe, the media loves Palin. Not that they think Palin is smart. Palin is a controversy magnet and gives scribes something to write about. Palin provides comedy material for this blog.

Quote of the Day

"Hey, folks. He's trying to save your jobs and pensions."

Sarah Palin, telling unions to supporting Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker.

Apparently, taking away collective bargaining is Palin's idea of protecting jobs and pensions.

Update: you can't judge for yourself how well Palin's message did with union members.

By the way, this was suppose to be a tea party rally.
