Crimson Poppies progress

Since finishing Persian Buttercup I’ve been working on my neglected Crimson Poppies.

I started these in 2008 and I have a feeling I’ve not worked on them since then!!

I’ve gone from this

To this

The last few days have been hot here so I’ve not been stitching much but I just realised that another reason is that I’ve had enough of these for now so they are going away and I’m going to treat myself to a new start 😁

Fingers crossed it’s not another 12 years before I work on them again

Crimson Poppies

So before the mad dash down to Northampton for Caleb's arrival I was working on Crimson Poppies.
This time round I filled in some of the leaves at the bottom and worked on the large bloom and before you wonder what the line is across the pic it's the shadow of the other half of the washing line

Crimson Poppies

I started this in 06 and if I remember rightly the chart was a gift off my Secret Stitcher at the time (I don't have the info to hand), when I was going through my WIPs deciding which one's I would work on for the next 6 months this one called out to me.

If you want a before pic go take a look in the Silver Lining album at Webshots, I can't do a before pic as they were all done with the old puter and I'm not sure where I put the disc with the pics on
