Happy Birthday!
The Lorax I think is my Favorite, if I have to pick!
He was, well most every moving image I remember from my childhood!
Where would we be without Charlie Brown and the Gang!
Sesame Street is the same age I am. Wonderful memories.
All of these great men are gone but I will never forget them or their work and it will be very hard for millions to forget them for many many many years to come!
We are very lucky to have their works live on!
Hugs, Lisa

ReplyDeleteHi Lisa,
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by my blog and for signing up as a follower. I will be having another giveaway in May, so please stick around. Your blog is adorable, and what a wonderful post you have about some of the most creative and compassionate people on earth. It's so sad they are gone, but thank God they are not forgotten.......Disney is my all time favorite and hero. Thanks again,
Hugs,
Meri

Charles Schulz was from St Paul and a few years back they had competitions designing large fiberglass Snoopy and Charlie Brown statues- it's so fun to see them all around the Twin Cities! They were sold for charity- I just saw a Minnesota Twins Snoopy in our local McDonald's today!
ReplyDeleteHi Lisa: My favorite was Sesame Street. Noah loves Elmo. We have gone full circle my friend. I know I told you before, but I just have to tell you again, I love the new look. Blessings, Martha
