Hello?

I don't even feel I can call myself a blogger any more.

I am not looking for people to feel sorry for me just not trying to pretend I do this regularly anymore. 

I moved in October and I am settled.

This is a pic from Christmas.

I have loved decorating for all the Holidays.

Started with Halloween and have gone straight through!

I went with a Red and White theme

Thanksgiving here. But you get the theme idea.

Not as easy to see, but I have a USA/UK theme.

Oliver is the bear here, he is originally from the UK. He is a sweet boy. 

This is the start of my kitchen. It is red and white all over.

As I unpacked it got more full. Loads of red in my kitchen stuff.

The bedroom got a work over too.

The Hoosier.

So glad it is back. My Jadite needs a home.

I decided I needed to be able to easily get to all my goodies.

My dishes are mostly in my pie safe and the bottom of the Hoosier.

This looks much better now. I was still sorting at this point.

 Finished Kitchen corner. I LOVE having a window.

 It looks out at a stairway, but I get light and it is the FIRST kitchen window I've ever had!

Good to check in. I hope some of you are still out there!

Kathleen’s Apartment

A funny thing happened on the way to the Dentist

 

Ok short version, went to get my mom’s car to go to the dentist, got there way too early, I confused the bus schedules and I saw this

Well the floor model anyway and the mirror wasn’t on it today.

I wanted a desk like this and didn’t remember the mirror went with it and thought that is the desk I want.

I can soo do $74.99!

I got keys and went to the dentist.

I was sad it will sell this weekend and I will loose out.

I tried to let it go.

Went to Tuesday Morning and found

Yes Pink Blue Willow dishes.

$4.99 for a three piece place setting.

YAY!!

The fruit/cereal bowls $4.99 set of 2!

YAY! YAY!

Went back to get mom for lunch and fell back in love with MY PERFECT desk.

Tuesday is payday.

Mom says “ask pop”

Pop said “ok” (well after a lot of grunting)

I will pay him back!

I’ll pay him big time he even brought it home for me!!

I have had a smile on my face since 12pm today and it will stay for awhile!!!

I am sitting at my new desk writing this post and I am oh a happy girl.

OH!

They let me use my mom’s discount

$56 for desk.

SCORE!!!

I am not bragging I just wanted to let you know what a great find I got today.

In other news, Cost Plus/World Market is now owned by Bed, Bath and Beyond.

I am hoping they keep the cool stuff and not go the outlet look of BB&B.

That would be sad. I am trying to talk mom into a job at Barnes & Noble. Yea, that’s the ticket.

hehehe

I now have the only piece of furniture I wanted for my new place so only a microwave and a coffee maker to go!

September will never get here!

Changes are coming

 

I am on the verge of another life change.

I will be getting this and all my goodies out of storage.

WOW!

I have a lot of stuff.

These goodies will find a home in my new home.

The girls are coming too ;)

This fall, if all works out, we will be in our own little spot with our own little kitchen.

I cannot wait.

Stay tuned. I am excited to decorate and celebrate the holidays in my new little spot.

Dotty Swap

I am very late posting my wonderful swap loot!

I was lucky enough to to have Sarah Thompson of  Sing and don't be Silent as my partner.

She did a very good job!!
