Well, since I'm working on simple blog posts. This one is devoted to cdc.
My sweet cdc. He is babbling up a storm. Cpc never said things like goo-goo and ga-ga. But boy, cdc sure does. I love it. His nickname "baby" sure fits him these days. He loves "da-da", and even says "heh da" (hi dad) quite often. He has learned to call me "na-na" which I am more than thrilled to hear each time he says it.
Cdc LOVES the train table that Santa brought the boys for Christmas. He can bash those trains all over the train table for 30 minutes at a time. He has learned to stand up to his brother, even pushing him out of the way quite often. He does still give his martyr cry, even if he won out over his brother - but we still love him. He loves peek-a-boo during diaper changes and car rides, his two least favorite activities. His favorite foods are still Cheerios, bananas and bread. He learned to like cauliflower this week, since it had delicious cheese on it.
Cdc's biggest accomplishment as of late is his standing abilities. He is now happy to stand next to his train table and bash trains without touching the table for a good 45 seconds. He has slacked off in his enthusiasm for walking, probably because I have tried too many times to get him to do it (I know he can do it, if only he'd try!) He can take 1-2 steps on his own however, if you fool him into it.
Oh how we love this little Swedish boy of ours!
