My first finish for January 2018 - I took Matilda's idea and replaced the little kitty with a spool of thread. Otherwise i used all the called for threads. Happy New Year everyone!
Well Hello Sheryl! Glad to see your beautiful stitching again! This one looks so pretty!!! Wasn't E fun? I really enjoyed that letter. We are out of state so had to leave the A B C s at home but I look forward to getting back to it when I get home. Happy new year to you too! I forgot you are going the other direction...so...you will be on to D soon perhaps....a challenge that D was for me! Enjoy! Happy stitching for your new year! Matilda
Hi Rose!! Great to see someone else diving into this project. You will love it. If you scroll down to June 3rd, I changed the drum quite a bit as did my sister. We reversed the flag, so I'm sure you can use your own flag too. Also, I changed a lot of the drum colors and didn't like the "mean" looking Eagle...so went with a kinda golden Eagle. It was a challenge to change but I really like the outcome. Welcome again and we look so forward to seeing your progress in the future. (Just follow directions on the right side of the web site, scroll down to join!) Happy Stitching, Matilda
Hi Rose! I will be working on the letter D next. I look forward to seeing the changes you make to make it your own. Please post along the way! Happy stitching always.
