Carrot Paneer Rice

If you dont have any ideas for some lunch box friendly dishes on your mind, dont get tensed. Just check my today's dish and am sure this simple but yet a healthy and delicious rice dish will definitely please your kid's tastebuds. I have seen rarely kids saying 'no ' to paneer, obviously my today's rice dish is one of the easiest dish you can prepare in less time than you can imagine. Honestly, my kids are ardent fan of carrot rice, if i feel bored or lazy to cook a meal, i will stick definitely with easy dishes. One among those easy dishes is Carrot rice. Just freshly grated carrots when spiced with usual spice powder,once sauteed and mixed with rice makes a quick carrot rice. If you add some cubed paneer to this simple rice, trust me this simple, quick carrot rice will get an another avatar and becomes a calcium rich rice dish. If you have leftover cooked rice and cubed paneer in your fridge, this rice gets ready within less than 10 minutes.

No Onion No Garlic Paneer Butter Masala

Indian curries have onions and garlic as the most wanted basic ingredients for flavouring them. But however many interesting masala do exists without garlic and onions. My today's post is kinda restaurant style of Paneer butter masala without any onions,garlic but with heavy cream in it. You wont miss the onions or neither the garlic in this dish. Since this is not made with onion or garlic, you can relish this dish during fastings or vrats. This dish is completely cooked in a rich tomato puree which makes an extremely delicious paneer loaded creamy tomato gravy which will definitely please your tastebuds as well as your eyes. This dish goes awesome with any sort of Indian flatbreads or pulao. Though this dish is very simple to prepare, even beginners can dish out this fingerlicking paneer butter masala with less efforts than comparing to the usual dish.

White Sauce PaneerPizza/Fusion Paneer Pizza

If you are bored of usual tomato sauce based pizza, then you have to give a try to this fantastic fusion Paneer pizza. Whoever think that pizza without tomato sauce is not a pizza then they should give a trial to this alluring white pizza. Basically white pizza is typically covered with ricotta and mozzarella cheese instead of tomato sauce, anyhow it might also be topped with garlic, vegetables, alfredo sauce or simple bechamel sauce. Though cheese are overloaded in this white pizza, you can also add some chicken chunks or paneer cubes to skip the addition of grated cheese. However my today's post is cheese overloaded fusion pizza prepared with homemade pizza dough, homemade white sauce, paneer cubes and chopped onions. Yes i went with homemade stuffs instead of grabbing store bought dough and sauce.

Indian sweets, especially milk sweets are popular around the world. Though we live far away from India, we never miss milk sweets here at home. I love to replicate the traditional milk sweets at home either with paneer or else the famous Ricotta cheese. Malai laddoo aka paneer laddu is one of the popular Indian sweet you can prepare easily with condensed milk and grated paneer. This ultimate sweet balls aka laddoos are very simple to prepare and easy to roll out, you will definitely love to prepare this balls especially during festivals. Paneer Chocolate Burfi/Chocolate Kalakand

Diwali means loads of savouries and sweets, i cant imagine celebrating this popular Festival of lights without some sweets. Obviously i will look for easy sweets which need less time to whisk and enjoy. Burfi is one of quickest sweet we make with less efforts, i have already prepared varieties of burfis though my today's post is also one among a recent trial prepared with homemade paneer and dark chocolate powder.  This burfi tastes extremely delicious and stays absolutely prefect for a week if conserved properly in fridge. Paneer plays an important role in this fantastic sweet and this burfi takes hardly less than 15minutes to get ready.

Green Peas,Paneer & Mint Biriyani/ Pudina,Paneer & Peas Biryani

Biriyani, this one pot meal is our family favourite and i never forget to dish out this flavourful dish once a week especially for Sunday lunch. Though my kids are ardent fan of non vegetarian biriyanis for their lunch, they wont says 'no' if i serves vegetables loaded biriyani. Obviously our love for biriyani pulls me to dish out varieties of biriyanis and i have few more to post in my blog. However its not too late to post one of my most favourite biriyani aka Green peas biriyani with paneer cubes. Am posting this fantastic and aroma filled peas biriyani for my today's post as am running Mega marathon for whole month. And i will be showcasing 5 ingredients for 5 weeks. For this first week of this mega marathon, am posting dishes which i dished out with dry green peas.

Aloo Paneer Kebab/Potato Paneer Kebab

Potato and paneer in kebabs, cant ask more rite. Both these two ingredients are our family favourite and they have their important place in our weekly menu. Though i dont like to get paneer from stores, Indian stores are loaded with this Indian cheese. Store bought cheeses are really handy when we dont have enough time to prepare paneer cheese at home. Last week, when we went to Indian store, i couldnt resist to pick a packet of paneer. After preparing a paneer curry, there were some leftover paneer cubes sitting in my fridge. Since i want to give a second life, i went on preparing this ultimate aloo paneer kebabs.

Paneer Kalimirch/Punjabi Paneer Subzi/Cottage Cheese in Black Pepper Gravy

This week's posts are going to be some Gourmet gravies, which you can serve along with rotis or flavoured rice as much as like restaurant's menu. Kali mirch in hindi means Black peppercorns and my today's post is going to be an interesting Punjabi style Paneer subzi spiced with freshly grounded black pepper powder. This subzi came out extremely luscious, very rich and highly delicious and creamy. This rich and irresistible subzi makes an excellent pair to relish without any guilt with most of the Indian flat breads. Served along with garlic naans, trust me this fingerlicking goodness subzi will definitely please everyone's tastebuds at home.

Paneer Pav Bhaji/Pav Bhaji with Crumbled Paneer

The word 'Paneer' itself makes me drool, when paneer added to one more most favourite dish of mine aka 'Pav Bhaji' trust me am ready to die after finishing a huge bowl of this Paneer pav bhaji. If you are reader or a follower of my space, you might have noticed my love for streets foods/chaats. Obviously we dont have any chance to relish this dishes in roadside stalls as like in India, if we are craving for this highly irresistible Indian street foods, we dont have any other option than making them at home. Am a great chaat food lover and i can survive for many days with chaat foods, needless to say my family members are also turning as much as like me when its comes to street foods or chaat foods. If you are an Indian, you might know how popular this Pav bhaji especially in Northern part of India.

Paneer Biriyani / Paneer Biryani/Indian Cheese Briyani

Paneer, this Indian cheese have its own place in our weekly menu. Though this cheese is easily available in Indian stores, i love to prepare myself at home as making of paneer at home asks for easy breezy preparation. With full fat milk and lemon juice, you can quickly make this Ultimate Indian cheese at home. Earlier i usually get those store bought ones, but now i love to make my own dose of paneer at home. This cheese is very versatile and you can dish out many delectable dishes to succulent sweets. We love paneer in most of our foods, eventhough i have couple of dishes to give a try with this cheese. One among those dishes i seriously want to blog about is this Paneer biriyani. As i told earlier biryani is our most food and none will say no to this aromatic one pot meal.

Paneer is our family favourite Indian cheese, i have already cooked couple of delicious dishes out of this popular cheese. Paneer is definitely a interesting cheese to work with and its completely versatile, you can cook many rich dishes from cake to desserts, from biriyani to side dishes. Many dishes cooked with Paneer are quite famous in North Indian cooking. Though South Indians do make many more flavourful rich curries or masalas with this ultimate cheese. Weather is getting too chilled here, obviously our tastebuds beg for hot and spicy foods. When you want something hot and spicy,Chettinad style of cooking will definitely tickle your tastebuds. Fish Shaped Bread with Paneer Bhurji

I have been looking for some different shaped breads just to attract my kids as they are totally bored to eat the same shaped bread rolls whenever i bake savoury breads at home. I was looking at Pinterest and got hooked to this fish shaped bread. Eventhough i couldnt make the prefect fish shape, i was very happy with the final result. Actually shaping the bread dough is quite an art, its not that much easy to make figurines with bread dough. However my trial with this fish shaped bread turned out good when compared to the original fish shaped bread i tried to replicate. Since am busy during weekdays, i want to bake few goodies during weekends and last weekend i baked this fish shaped bread as am running Mega marathon during this whole month of April.Sending to Srivalli's Anniversary Mela.

Paneer Masala stuffed Ragi Masala Dosa

Paneer, this Indian cheese is our family favourite, my fridge will always have this cheese. If i dont go to Indian groceries, i'll make myself paneer at home. However paneer have an important place in our diet. If i have paneer in my fridge, i can just dish out anything with it within few minutes to satisfy everyone's tastebuds at home. When i picked Indian bread basket as this week's blogging marathon's theme, Srivalli mentionned that even Dosa are known as Indian breads, obviously i couldnt resist myself to make this nutritious ragi masala dosa. This time instead of making a simple masala dosa i opted for a lipsmacking paneer masala for the stuffing. Trust me, this ragi masala dosa turned out extremely delicious and everyone at home enjoyed thoroughly this calcium packed protein rich masala dosa.

Kadai paneer, after Paneer butter masala i love this easy paneer dish as they go for simple preparation.If you need a quick side dish for your rotis if you have sudden guest or hungry tummies, then you should give a try to Kadai paneer. Kadai paneer makes an excellent filling if you are planning to make a super filling roll. This delicious paneer dish goes for succelent paneer cubes and crunchy diced onions with capsicums. Paneer Lemon Rice

Paneer, this famous Indian cheese is everyone's favourite at home and my fridge will always have this cheese. If i dont have enough time to make paneer at home, as like everyone i'll go for the store bought ones. Paneer is a very versatile cheese and this paneer cheese can be cooked with anything or  can be cooked as anything. From starter to dessert, paneer can be prepared in many different dishes. However my favourite dish with paneer is always the North Indian side dishes especially butter masala or tikka masala. But my today's recipe goes for a different rice dish. Usually we make lemon rice simply with lemon juice, cooked rice with usual spices, but for a change i tried adding some leftover paneer cubes along with, trust me pan roasted paneer cubes added to the lemon rice makes a different delicious rice dish. Paneer while having with gives this mild tangy lemon rice gives an excellent taste and texture, we simply loved it.

Achari Paneer

Paneer, this popular Indian cheese is one among the varieties of cheese we love very much at home.Obviously my fridge will definitely have paneer cubes and i love to add it in most of my dishes. After mozzarella, paneer is the most wanted cheese in my cooking. Most of the North Indian side dishes are prepared very much with this cheese often hence you can find many varieties of lip smacking gravies or side dishes in this cuisine. Our most favourite paneer dishes we never fail to order whenever we go to Indian restaurants are Paneer tawa masala, Paneer Makhanwala, Paneer peas masala and the list just goes on. Its been a while i want to make some achari paneer and this paneer with pickling masala was in my to do list since ages, finally i made this fingerlicking pickling paneer at home few days back to have with rotis for our dinner.

No Bake Gajar Halwa, Kesar and Gulab Cheesecake

Cheesecake,my younger one can have this absolutely delicious cake anytime. He can have any flavored cheesecake eventhough his favourite is always chocolate cheesecake. I love baking and my space is loaded with various bakes obviously am an active member of many baking group who never fail to participate every month..Being a member of a weekly baking group, an Indianised cheesecake was suggested to the members of the group few weeks back. I was astonished to see a beautiful fusion cheesecake with Indian flavors in it. The base of the cheesecake went for Motichoor laddoos,followed by kesar aka Saffron cheese layer and the glaze went for gulkhand. I never thought of making a cheesecake with Indian flavors, when i saw this Indian cheesecake challenge i couldnt resist myself and tried immediately. But i made few changes according to the ingredients available in my pantry and fridge. Yes instead of motichoor laddoos i simply went for gajar halwa aka carrot halwa and the middle layer is simply prepared with paneer, agar agar, coconut milk and hung curd and instead of gulkhand glaze i opted of rose milk glaze. Trust me these three flavors works out prefect, when i had a slice of this cheesecake, the flavors just bursted in my mouth, omg i cant say in words, you have to give a try to this combination to enjoy thoroughly this Indianised cheesecake.

Paneer,Horsegram Vermicelli Pulao/Kollu Sevai Paneer Pulav

You may wonder where i got this horsegram vermicelli aka sevai, am still unpacking my bagages which i carried all the way from India. Eventhough i started cooking with few of the healthy organic grains which i packed carefully, there were still few more packets to get cooked. One among those healthy stuffs is this kollu sevai aka horsegram vermicelli.Kollu sevai /Horsegram sevai was gifted to me by one of best buddy who is very close to my heart when i met her during my last visit in India.Instead of making a simple dish with this beautiful sevai, i planned to cook as a kids friendly dish as we love vermicelli very much as anything in anything. My family can have vermicelli from breakfast to dinner without any fuss. Obviously i dont forget to make vermicelli based dishes once a week without any fail.After many discussions with my kids, finally i ended with a delicious one pot meal aka pulao with this beautiful healthy sevai.

Obviously my fridge or either my freezer will definitely have enough paneer cubes to cook up. If you have paneer in your fridge trust me you make a couple of delicious dishes within few minutes. Since this cottage cheese is quite versatile you can do anything with it. Paneer Tikka Kathi Rolls

April sounds bit hectic for me, i have few list of stuffs to do and still am lagging coz of lack of time, sometimes am running like headless chicken. Seriously i want a whole month of rest, i know its not going to happen never ever in my life. But its ok am happy with this busy days. Coming to today's post, this Paneer tikka Kathi rolls goes for this month South vs North Challenge an event owned by Divya Pramil, which is landing towards this incredible Kolkatta famous street food. The theme of this event is to exchange an Indian recipe between two teams. One team is Southern team (food bloggers born and brought in South India) and the another one team is Northern team (food bloggers born and brought in North India).Every first of a month, a blogger from each team will challenge a recipe from their origin and the opposite team have to cook the recipe challenged by the other team.

For this month's challenge, Minnie of The Lady 8 Home challenged the Southern team with Paneer tikka kathi rolls, while we the Southern team challenge them with a Kerala platter prepared by Lakshmi Vimala, hope the Northern team will definitely enjoy making this delicious Kerala breakfast dishes. Kathi rolls are wonderful street foods, which can be carried easily and can enjoy them without any mess. They are seriously very filling and am sure if you have them for breakfast you will definitely skip your lunch. Kathi rolls are prepared traditionally with kathi kababs which goes for chicken or mutton chunks but nowadays we can make kathi rolls with varieties of stuffing in it.I enjoyed thoroughly this paneer tikka stuffed kathi rolls for my lunch, trust me its soo filling, even am thinking to skip my evening snacks.Thanks Minnie for this beautiful challenge.
